    I’ve enjoyed the 3 times we’ve visited Dallas and stayed at the Candlewood. I will say the front desk workers could definitely use a course on Customer Service.

    Very spacious suite with a kitchenette was very convenient. We had to walk a long way to get to our suite due to having only one elevator available. We had to get our own linen and sheets from the front desk. No free breakfast available

    The price is right For what this hotel offers. Not my first time in this one and won’t be the last one for sure. Travel to Dallas for work and the location is convenient, I can cook my meals and rest. No issues encountered except that I dropped something and had to move the couch to retrieve it and there was a bunch of chips like Doritos underneath. Also there was a pizza in the fridge lol but I don’t care. Everything else was clean.

    The staff was extremely nice and accommodating and the shuttle service was perfect, it was so convenient to be able to leave a car there for a little extra, cheaper than anywhere else and pick up knowing it would be safe on our return trip.

    Location was the primary reason since it was so close to the airport I picked this hotel because it was so conveniently close to the airport however after a long flight would check in and there was issues with the elevator when we finally got to our room our little kids were so tired and fell quickly asleep then as I tried to make my way to get into a hot shower the bathroom was absolutely disgusting like it hadn't been cleaned in months and because our little kids were already asleep I had to opt out from requesting another room and also was not able to take a shower because that room was disgusting then I reached out to the receptionist in the morning to let her know she offered a 15% discount and said anything else would have to be discussed with the manager and to email him so I emailed both of the managers with my concerns and the pictures and no one has reached out it's been 4 days

    This is placed in a decent area, not far from downtown Dallas and close to highways. Its a pretty big hotel as well, but could use more elevators in my opinion.

    Was given room 110 which must be the absolute worst room in the place, ground floor, directly adjacent to the highway and the windows were so paper thin they felt open. There is a strip club in the parking lot which also goes all night. This is in a bad neighborhood, paid $156 USD and was given this awful room which though clean was absolutely like sleeping outside next to the highway. Do not book here!

    It is not a smoke-free hotel. As soon as you walk in to get checked in, the smell of marijuana is strong, and it is throughout the entire hotel. The room was musty, and we had roaches on the wall, but it was clean.

    It was a great stay. The room had everything we needed, the beds were comfortable. I liked the kitchen it had and a living area. Price was great. We will stay again. The room felt a bit small. You can sit on they're bed and almost be in the living room. The gym has just the basic stuff but overall what you would expect for just a quick workout.

    Quiet clean property The only issues we had were no linens for the fold out couch and only 2 towels for 4 guests. We got in late from a show and didn’t realize these things and were too tired to deal with it.

    Place was not bad although we had a group with us so we had three beds in our room yet one of the beds no blankets or pillows so OK I go ask for more and they tell me they don’t have any extras and then the next day I need to take a shower and they only gave us two towels in the room so OK I go ask for more and they tell me they don’t have any right now that they’re all getting cleaned.!.!. so my thing is is if you’re gonna offer that much space for people to stay you need to have enough stuff for everyone I get maybe running out of towels, but there should definitely be enough blankets to cover all the beds

    The facilities were good and the staff was good. My problem is that we chose this hotel because their website says this particular hotel has 24 hr service to the airport. We had our family drop us off there but they are now having to drive back to get us to the airport at 4 am. When I ask about it he said it was not his problem.

    The staff was heard by a guest making negative remarks about our assumed life style. The bus driver was very verbal in his expression of dislike for gay people. I felt that this attitude or negative views of gay culture and life were key contributors to the treatment I received and ultimately the property not allowing me to renew my reservation for my last night stay causing me to have to find another hotel without having time to review or compare cost. I picked Candlewood for a reason but i am very displeased about the comments that were made that was heard but more importantly about the negative and discriminatory environment that emerged making it very uncomfortable. The manager was not very forthcoming about the reason he was kicking me off his property other than stating that his staff told him I had lots of traffic. I don't understand how that was determined and what constitutes a lot? I want those in the gay community to be aware of this negative environment toward people who might be gay - I felt very profiled

    The staff seemed friendly and helpful, but I never had a working remote for the TV despite asking multiple staff members to fix or replace it. One guy gave me new batteries which didn't work, and one gal said she would have the engineer fix it and when I returned to my room after work, there was no remote and when I went back to the desk a third gal said no work order had been entered.

    I like to stay here when I am flying in or out of Dallas love field. I almost always have a ground floor and it has always been very nice.     Convenient location from UTSW but definitely needs some updating !! There were candy wrappers in the floor as we walked in and the carpet was sticky in front of the tv. Probably won't stay here again.

    Hotel was nice & clean. Located off the highway near plenty of restaurants. The iron in our room wasn't working & we had to switch it out. The fan in the room was missing it's pull chain & was on a very high setting. We were unable to adjust it. It made a loud ticking noise like a clock. The toilet is really loud.

    Property was not at all as described, second and third floors had squishy old floors inside and outside the rooms, nasty carpet, loud AC units, and the bathrooms were tubs and very old and gross. Classic Bait and Switch. The elevator was broke, the door to the secure shop was broke. Our bathroom door had a fist hole someone punched through it that was shoddily patched. Just terrible.

    We checked in to the hotel for 2 days. Lady was very friendly. Got to our room and the door handle was broken. Literally fell off opening it. The tub was filthy inside and on the outside. There were ants on our nightstand and in the bed. We were given two towels in a suite for 2 days. When ask for more. They said they did not have anymore and that we would have to wait. When we were walking down the stairs to check out you could smell dog urine when got out of the stair well the bottom floor was overwhelming with the smell.. this place is definitely not worth your money!!

    Was a good stay for a family of 5, the girls shared the bed and son got the pull out. My only issue with it was there isn’t any extra bedding anywhere for the pullout. The kids had to split the covers up. Was overall really comfortable and ina good location for us

Check in was ok, but there weren’t any towels or bedding for the couch bed. Overall it seemed like it was short staffed and put a damper on our trip to Dallas.

    First floor views Gotta love them….eh? Outside of being careful when and how I open my window for the world to see in my room. (I prefer natural light.) The stay went alright. There were some loud bumping noises I would hear from upstairs. Must be them new Ye cement pumps. The card reader on the door took several tries to but it read. It’s a little Janky. But once when you figure it out you’re good. Everything in the room was great (sans views). Check in was good. Appreciate you Carlos. Check out was smooth too. (Thanks to the young gentleman for completing me on my red, white, and blue nails. This was a random trip to Dallas so the location was perfect. I wasn’t too far from anything I needed or wanted. So I say all this to say, you are not the father, I now have my passport, and yes, I will stay here again.

    The property is right next to the freeway. Building and accommodation are dated. It does have a kitchen which is nice. Parking was no problem. The staffs are friendly but very inefficient as they can only handle one customer at a time.

    The stay was okay, they did allow us to check in early, that was a plus. The tv was cracked, and the shower did not work. We had to repack and move to another room. We did not know it was pet friendly, that wasn’t the issue. The problem was a fur baby pooped in front of our door and no one cared to pick it up. Again the staff was nice but we will not stay at this facility again.

    There were ROACHES on the property and in the room. The hotel clearly knows about it because there was white powder in corners. We had a huge roach on the desk and on the nightstand. The staff was not helpful and we had to leave two nights early. I wish I could get a refund for the first night since it’s unhygienic and the property needs proper care for pests, as well as learn how to handle situations.

    I reserved a king bed but when we went to the room we had a suite with 2 full beds (not queen). We did not say anything since it was close to outside door which was great. We did not get maid service or new towels. Very nice staff. Had a center courtyard area with grills.
