Tru by Hilton Coppell DFW Airport North

Have to wait more than 2 hours for shuttle after I call for many times, they make you feel like it was your fault when we were in the correct place. Breakfast was underwhelming. The floor in my room seemed gritty.

My favorite part is the lemon, scented hand wash and lotion. The room was clean. The air was cold. I really appreciated the amenities. The pool was nice. Breakfast was fantastic.

This hotel was lovely for a single night stay. Rooms were large and the electronic blinds were really nice for a dark room. If you don't like carpet, these rooms are for you. My room did not have carpet. The shower was clean and large.

This is the best Tru hotel I stayed. The front desk girl, not sure her name but she is very patient and kind.Make me feel more comfortable and relaxed after a long trip. Pool is well setup👍give space for parents to seat and chat while kids swimming, breakfast is decent. Coffee is fresh and hot.

Location, amenities, most of the staff and decor were exceptional! The lady tending the breakfast bar sneezed over it without covering or turning her face and did not change her gloves. Did not know about the filtered water or available microwave downstairs until after checking out.

Our family walked in and immediately said how clean it was and we were so grateful we chose to stay here! The receptionist was quick, helpful, very welcoming! The room was amazing and clean! The breakfast was delicious! It was just absolutely incredible and affordable!

Nice and clean property. Our room spelt fresh when walked in the door which is always nice. It havefree hot chocolate and coffee for me and my family. A nice pool table for entertainment. It also had a nice back patio section with a pool for the kids.

I want to give a big shout out to the desk person that helped me last night. His name is Courtney and I must say that he went above and beyond for my family. My sister and mother in law were traveling from Mexico into the U.S. They were supposed to connect in Dallas Fort Worth but missed their flight due to unforeseen events. The were told that the next flight was going to be the following day. I found this hotel because they had great reviews and most importantly bus shuttle. I made the reservation for them and I contacted the hotel to see where my family needed to go for pick up. Even though Courtney had a busy night with customers face to face. He still manage to give me great service. And not only that, he went above and beyond to help me and my family get to that shuttle. Courtney communicated with the driver (who I did not get his name but he was incredible too) to make sure to look for my family. The driver stayed and waited for them to arrive and as soon as they got to the hotel they were able to get into their room and relax. Thank you Tru at Coppell. You guys are truly amazing.

It was nice, the staff was kind, the beds were amazing but there is no fan in the bathroom and there was mold in the ceiling as well as surrounding the shower and the tiles. Location was convenient and it was quiet. Overall we’d stay again but I’m hopeful the next shower is better.

This hotel is beautiful from the cozy couches to the super comfortable beds. The amenities, like having all day complimentary tea and coffee is such a great perk. The employees were super nice and helpful, showing pride in their work.

Airport shuttle begins at 5 a. m. and runs every 30 minutes, picks up at the front entrance.

Breakfast was not a hit for me. Reason being it opened to late for me to partake. Wish it had opened a 1/2 hour earlier. See above comment.

Breakfast was poor to average... The quality of the food has been severely destroyed as the months and last couple of years have passed. Breakfast could have definitely been better. The egg omelets utilized by Hilton Hotels are horrendous. Is it eggs from plants? The potato provided at Hampton Inns are good but the sausage also is imitation >?? Or just undercooked... Perhaps Without any actual muscle tissue being utilized when blending. Definitely need a new source. The bacon was acceptable but the EGGs have Got to be resourced...Seriously, They're really bad. We shouldnt have to pay for a Garden Inn reservation in order to get a decent breakfast.

Room condition and breakfast were good. I was put in a handicapped room. The main shower was broken which was a pain, but there was a 2nd hand shower that worked fine.

This motel was so amazing we got back and they had provided chipotle and offered me and my daughter and her friends to eat. Also, they had a pool table there and board games that we were able to play which was so fun.

I stayed here during the winter storm and the hotel / staff were excellent. They handled the added stress of the weather like champs and offered extra accommodations to ensure their guest were taken care of in the best way possible.

We had an issue with the AC unit so they changed our room no problem. The second room had a connecting door to another unit and the family staying there was so loud, we could hear the kid screaming. Not very good noise insulation between room unfortunately.

From the moment we walked in the door and was greeted by the lady at check-in. Our flight was very early and we wanted to drop our bags off so we could explore Dallas for the day. She was so warm and friendly. Great sense of humor! She got us our room very early! The staff in the afternoon was just as great! The rooms were clean well stocked. It was rainy day so. I pool for our son, however there was a pool table and board games for him to stay busy with. I can’t say enough great things about this place!

This hotel is excellent for us. 15 minutes from the airport, great staff, room super comfortable and with everything we needed. Super cool and modern lobby. Very good breakfast. Gym and board games/billiard on the lobby. Super nice. This is our second time here and we plan to keep on coming.

I moved to this hotel after a disastrous night at a competitor and was really blown away. This isn't the Four Seasons but everything is just perfect. I actually wished I could move in! The rooms are incredibly clean, they stock all of the important things you want and the free 24/7 coffee and tea NOT from a room coffee maker is a dream! Perfect pool. Perfect patio to relax on, free airport shuttle - this place checks every single box.

I’ve stayed at several different Tru locations and this location hands down wins. The ladies at the desk were amazing. When we checked in, went to the elevator to get to our room the lady was cleaning the walls inside. I’ve never seen a hotel clean like they do. It was great. The whole hotel smelled amazing like always but this one was exceptionally clean. The atmosphere was great. So great both nights we stayed the lobby and outside sitting area was as if you were at a friends gathering. You felt at home, not just a random guest coming through. I hate off to the ones who work so hard to make it all happen.

Our only dislike is that we had to cover up like 10 different small night lights through out the room. Seriously. The one on the switch by the door illuminates the entire room all night. One in the bathroom--super bright. Smoke alarm blinks all night, had to flip over clock, and put cloth over tv light. Staff are amazing, communication great, parking easy, Yummy Thai nearby.

Close to the airport and conveniently close to the center I need to visit to. It's only 3 mins away. Staff is always nice, especially those who are there in the late-night evenings. After a long, rebooked/cancelled flight, which happens often when travelling to the area, it's always nice to be greeted with a smile at 2am. Hotel's always clean and accommodating.

We only stayed one night, everything was great, clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again. Tho we did not use the pool or the other amenities it was a nice touch, especially if you were here for business.

We were thankful to come across this property and plan to stay here again in the future. The amenities were to our liking and the staff was friendly and helpful. We wish our AC unit operated better, but other than that, the room was very comfortable. Plus, we liked the breakfast and the variety of drinks and snacks available at the check-in counter.

I was quite surprised that there was not a coffee maker in the room. Perhaps this is a new feature. Disappointing as I wake up quite early and had to get properly dressed to get a cup of coffee (although it was available 24/7). That is a comfort I enjoy in most hotels. Also, there was a loud clicking noise all night. Not sure what it was from but I thought someone was continuously trying to get into the room. I could also hear guests walking up and down the halls late at night so the sound proofing wasn't brilliant. The staff were very friendly and helpful, though. But due to these other circumstances, I won't be staying here again. One final note, I had to cancel one of my nights (which I did about 3 weeks prior to my stay), but I had to pay a cancellation fee. Hence, I won't be using Hotels.com again either. Super disappointing!!

I called to schedule the shuttle at 10:15 and was told it would arrive shortly. 30 mins passed so I called to find out why there was a delay and was told the shuttle actually stopped running at 10:15. I was told I was the only one who needed a shuttle at 10:15 and the driver said he wasnt coming to the airport for just one person. They tried to remedy the situation by giving me points which actually was an unfair resolution. I would have much rather been reimbursed the unplanned money spent for an uber.

I booked a double king off of Hotels.com, Tru told me they don’t have that type of room. Then they would not even put me in a double queen. I had to spend another $150 and get a second room.
