Everything was really nice and I really enjoyed my stay

Staff explained that the card was charged early to confirm funds were available. However, the hotel already knew it could not provide the room. No advance warning was given, and we were allowed to arrive late at night before being turned away. The property did not secure alternative accommodations or provide meaningful assistance. We spent hours contacting more than 30 hotels, searching from Champaign to locations about 40 minutes outside Chicago, and found no availability. The most concerning part was being charged for accommodations the property could not provide. Overbooking can happen, but guests should be contacted promptly, the charge should not be processed, and relocation assistance should be provided. This experience left our family stranded and caused significant stress and additional expense.

One of the ladies at the front desk was quite unhelpful. During the check-in process, she simply handed me the keys without uttering a single word. I was unaware that there was no room cleaning if you didn’t stay for 7 days.

I booked a king suite, which was not clean when I arrived. Apparently they can't keep employees. I was downgraded to a normal room. No pool. No breakfast. You can skip this hotel.

Overall decent. The elevator was out due to maintenance for most of the day, which was a big problem.

Door lock was not working for the assigned handy capped room . Newly allocated room had only one chair to sit. Not happy since two people has to work from hotel full day. Also Expedia changed more than 20 % than the hotel bill.

This is my second time staying here. Although little older building it has been well kept. linens were comfortable and clean. Staff very friendly, helpful and actually engaged in their job. Gym is nice and the fact there is free laundry is great.

The hotel stay was fine, but even though I prepaid my stay via a third party app the hotel still charged my for the stay when I checked out. I feel like this is something they regularly do as I heard the front desk speaking to someone on the phone about a refund when I was waiting to speak with them about something. That's not good customer service.

The front office staff member, Terri, was amazing. She was helpful during a very stressful time and appreciate her patience!
