The hotel was dated. The elevator did not work. The TV remotes did not work. The towels were worn out worse than towels I use to dry my dogs. The rate was way too much. And breakfast was items out of A hostess box. THIS IS NOT QUALITY.

Priced right
- 4/5
Was clean, convenient off the highway, would stay here again.
- 5/5
Hotel was good for what it was. Just stayed for one night.
- 2/5
Weeds and dirty glass windows and doors. Lobby not appealing. Elevator was out of service. Air conditioning in room barely working and big crack in sink bowl. Carpet old and lumpy. Linen seemed fresh and clean. Would not return.

The elevator wasn't working, price gouging because of graduation weekend

I expected more given the ratings and comments on this property. The pool is tiny and the was so cloudy you couldn’t see the bottom. The first floor hallway had a horrific smell the entire stay. Rooms were clean but outlets were extremely loose and if a switch by the door was off then other outlets across the room would be off, as well. Very strange. There were signs in the cramped breakfast area that said no food in rooms which was strange considering the rooms have a fridge and microwave. The attendant at the front desk was friendly and attentive. For the cost I guess I can’t really complain too much but just didn’t meet my expectations.

I loved the pool. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was nasty and staff was rude.
- 3/5
The staff was great For the hotel being non smoking you could smell Marijuana in the hallways which it was so strong, you could smell it in our room. The sheets were dirty and not changed. We had to have a extension cord plugged in due to the outlet not working which was also a fire hazard.

The front counter person did not welcome us. He just asked for our last name. I gave him my credentials and he gave me keys to the room and then said the elevator was out. I asked for a refund and he gave it to me without question. He said all elevators were out in other hotels as well. He recommended the Drury and we stayed there.

- 5/5
Nice quiet overnight stay no marijuana sense😂seriously very important when you have children included in your stay.
- 5/5
Nice room as always, perfect spot to be at if you enjoy shopping and quick access to restaurants
- 5/5
I have really been enjoying my stay at the Quality Inn. The service is excellent, and the room has almost everything I needed. Highly recommended!
- 3/5
It is OK for the price I wish the hallway a little bit brighter
- 4/5
Breakfast is okay
- 2/5
There was no breakfast. There was a waffle maker but no waffles. So disappointed. It would have been nice if we could’ve had a first floor room. It also would have been nice if they had breakfast as it was advertised.
- 5/5
Exceptional
- 4/5
Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable, good staff, great location
- 1/5
Very very dirty, blood on sheets, front desk guy was super creepy. He said he needed a deposit so I grabbed my card. He asked if i had cash, i said no, so he said he didnt need a deposit!? Huh? Within one hour i had a drunk man knocking on my door and another down the hall begging to be let into a room
- 4/5
Room was fine. The gentleman that works the front desk is and has always been wonderful!
- 3/5
Not too bad with price
- 4/5
We had some difficulty operating the TV. However, the attendant came and fixed it. Additionally, the staff, facility, breakfast, and location were excellent. Also, the hotel cost was reasonable.

The Heater was good and the parking lot clean and safety
- 5/5
Basic, but clean with a nice included breakfast.
- 5/5
Room was cozy but carpet was wet
- 1/5
I booked my reservation through the Expedia app and upon arrival the two desk associates say my reservation wasn’t in their system. I showed them the email confirmation with the code and nothing came up. I even got charged on my credit but I never stayed in the room because of the reservation problem. I ended up calling the Expedia phone number to request a cancellation and my money back. The person who I spoke with was very helpful and was able to prove the refund.
- 1/5
I was overcharged by over $100, my room was 491 and my friends was 371
- 3/5
Ok
- 5/5
Everything worked. I like a bath and it was wonderful...plenty of pillows and towels.

Another successful stay. Staff is always friendly. Room clean and cozy.

Air conditioner not working that great. Not queen bed as advertised. Pool was closed for repairs. Staff was good.

I always choose this hotel when i stay locally, friendly staff, nice rooms and clean!
- 4.5/5
Breakfast was good hot meal. Pool was great. Nothing that i can think of.

Awful
- 3/5
Breakfast was awful
- 0.5/5
Nothing The room I booked was not the room I received and I was over charged I was charged 150 for the room but the room I was in was just 100 a night. Plus the bathroom seat was so lose my aunt almost fell off it. There were drugs being smoked in the room next to us and the employees are not very efficient
- 5/5
The pool was cloudy, there weren't any pool towels. And our room had a funny smell.
- 4/5
My room was great and everything was ok but some of the staff were rude. I asked for fresh towels and the receptionist (male) told me to bring the old ones down but I had already given them to housekeeping. I get that some guests steal towels from hotels but I am not one. I just brought some from the local Target. Over all the hotel was nice and clean. 8/10
- 5/5
Really nice warm pool!
- 4/5
The property was fine, staff friendly, room clean. There was some mold on the bathroom ceiling, I notified the employees.
- 3/5
The hotel esthetic could be improved - needs carpet replacement, paints hallway walls white to brighten space, some artworks on the walls in the rooms, some live plants.
- 4/5
Staff was not friendly and room was in rough condition. Should have been upgraded a long time ago.
- 4/5
Nice clean room
- 3/5
Had to have a leak fixed in bathroom, it was fixed next day. Sink held water drain messed up, it was clean.
- 4/5
Room appeared/smelled very clean. Quite a few restaurants and stores within 2 miles of the hotel. Nobody was at/around the front desk when we arrived. We rang the bell every 2 minutes and waited a total of 6 minutes before anybody came. But the employee was polite and got us checked in. The breakfast was quite nice. Eggs, sausage, waffles, cereal, coffee, juice, bagels, doughnuts, toast. Pool was not fancy but well maintained and kids had fun.
- 2/5
We got re-routed here because Expedia overbooked our reservation at another hotel. The parking lot was not well lit. The hallways wreaked of pet urine. Tiny bathrooms and rooms were dated. We had a “suite”, which was just a bigger room with a couch in it. We arrived late because of the overbooking issue and we were tired. Not somewhere I would stay again. Staff was fine.
- 3/5
The first room, I was put in the shower didn’t work. The host did come down to check it out and saw that indeed I was correct the shower didn’t work. He told me there were no other rooms. I said I would need a refund. Then he found another room. It wasn’t a horrible experience but most of the time when I stay in a hotel it is better.
- 1/5
First of all where do I start, there is no pop in the machine at all except a diet Pepsi everything else is completely gone and I still had to pay $2 for it even though I didn't want it, we paid for one night and ended up staying two nights and had no discount or anything, their towels are so little I can barely wrap my hair up in them and that's a biggest they get, there are no individual guest shampoo or conditioner bottles like a normal hotel has you have to share with everybody who is in the room with you, the phone chargers will not stay in the wall, it's just not worth it or the money it's not convenient or guest friendly I'm not for sure what else to say
- 3.5/5
As a family with adult children, it was nice to get a room with 2 beds and a sofa bed. The price was good for a quick one-night stay. The room was clean and comfortable. There were a few things that were kind of run-down. There was a hole in a sofa cushion. I booked 2 queen beds, bit they didn't feel like our queen at home, they felt a little small.
- 3/5
The lobby and the main areas smelled like funk and Marijuana. The staff were polite. It was definitely out dated. There was no control for the air conditioner. The room was clean and didnt smell as bad as the rest of the hotel. It was okay for the price.
- 3.5/5
Rates, breakfast and staff are what drew me there and I was not mistaken.
- 5/5
Great costomer service
- 4/5
Pool hours are way to short and mostly when no one is at the hotel
- 4/5
Breakfast was a bit sparse with half of the juice selections out.
- 4/5
Nothing
- 4/5
everything was great and the pool was perfect
- 4/5
Okay for one night. Don’t think I would want to stay longer. Gentleman working front desk was very friendly and welcoming
- 5/5
I was pleasantly surprised. I will stay here anytime I travel to the Champaign-Urbana area.
- 3/5
Smelled a bit
- 1/5
when we arrived to the hotel we got into our room and we noticed that the toilet wouldn't flush. my husband went down to the service desk and they tried to give him a plunger we ended up leaving and we had to find and also pay for a different hotel room at a different location it was a horrible stay and I am trying to figure out how to get my money back for that stay
- 3/5
Was mostly clean, some toothpaste marks left in the sink and the air conditioner said it was 61, occasionally blew air. But can confirm it was not 61 in the room. Wasn’t uncomfortable enough to go complain/switch rooms but it was a warmer than I’d prefer stay. I did not have problems with the neighbors/noise, but you could hear coughing in other rooms so safe to assume the walls are thin.
- 3/5
This hotel was good enough but not great. The facility needs to be updated. The bathroom in our room was small. But at least they provided enough towels for our family (not always the case other places). Breakfast was ok, not great.
- 5/5
Older property but clean and well taken care of.
- 5/5
The pool was kind of dangerous, my son scrapped his foot on the bottom of one side of the pool that seemed broken..like a huge chunk needs to be replaced. Otherwise, the breakfast was decent, room was clean and the bed was really comfortable.
- 4/5
It’s a little far from campus. An Uber is $25 to get to campus
- 4/5
This hotel is 8 minutes from the dorms which is nice. When we checked in, no one was at the front desk for 8 minutes. We rang the bell & eventually asked the room attendant for help. Once we did check in, the front desk person was relatively welcoming & pleasant. The room seemed clean & the parking was plentiful. It was nice & quiet. We appreciated that. Opportunities for a better experience would be to properly staff the front desk & update the dining area & lobby, it’s very outdated & smells of Jean Nate or some gross outdated and over powering perfume. I didn’t expect the Four Seasons lobby, but it smells unclean & looked dated.

Super friendly and welcoming check-in. We really appreciate the hospitality!
- 5/5
We forgot something in the room and we received a call immediately!
- 4/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
Awesome
- 3/5
The room was dirty and the smell in the hotel was terrible. The front desk clerk was pleasant.
- 4/5
Good price. Kids enjoyed the pool. Was pretty warm. Customer service was nice. Elevator was sketchy. It took a minute to go one floor.
- 5/5
Had what I needed
- 5/5
Good staffs
- 1/5
Not too far from the campus. Charged extra more than paid through expedia for no reason. Breakfast was poor. Front desk service took too long.
- 4/5
Not the cleanest
- 3/5
Outdated, a little run down, but the bathroom was clean and the bed linens were clean.
- 1/5
Check your door because our lock did not work. The only reason we still stayed was because we didn't notice it until the morning, after leaving our belongings in our room for 4 hours
- 2/5
It had a pool and breakfast. Remote for tv didn’t work. Shower rod was broken. Tub drain didn’t hold water.
- 5/5
Nice!
- 5/5
Nice rooms and clean rooms
- 2/5
Everything outside of my room was pretty decent. My room was full of filth. There were 4 q tips found behind the pull out couch, there was kinder egg type spoon under said pull out couch along with other miscellaneous trash. The curtains had stains and cigarette burns. There were many spills on several walls. The sheets had small spills that you could tell the shets weren't washed. It was just a bad experience
- 1/5
Dirty. Smells bad.
- 5/5
Friendly. They helped us with timing of checking around the football game
- 5/5
Thanks for making my stay enjoyable
- 2/5

- 2/5
The staff was difficult and disinterested and the room was run down, the TV didn’t work and the tub had patches and cracks
- 5/5
Clean and reasonably priced.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Our options were limited due to homecoming. We stayed one night to attend a nearby wedding. It's OK for a night. Convenient to the highways, restaurants, the school. Property is a little run down but staff was friendly and it was quiet.
- 2/5
The room was fine but all common areas were very dirty and hot. Took 10 minutes at check in before anyone came to the desk.
- 5/5
The staff were very helpful and kind. I enjoyed my stay here and will be choosing this location again when I'm in the area again.
- 3/5
The room was cleaned well.
- 2/5
It’s a place to stay on the cheap but my room was damp and smelled like cheap body spray . The place was next door was a car lot and was lighted up like day time and the curtains in the room were shabby and falling off f the track so they didn’t do a great job .
- 2/5
Bed pillows the size of toddlers heads. The room was purple and olive green, not soothing at all. The couch was covered in stains. Too much to list, just gross. Oh and the smell, musty and moldy
- 3/5
It was very quiet. Too much chlorine in the pool kids eyes were red for the rest of the day and my daughters black swimming shirt turned brown.
- 4/5
I didn't like I didn't know others that aren't guest couldn't swim with us but I understand after it was explained
- 1/5
First checking in, the attendent was friendly, however that was the highlight of the stay. It quickly went downhill from there. Our room smelled horrible and actually had mold on ceiling. There were alcohol bottles under bed and window screen was completely torn. Terrible experience. Will not go back
- 3/5
It was ok, rooms air didn’t work well, front desk was nice.
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable. It was a pet friendly room but I have no pets so the smell kind of is noticeable when first enter room. Had problems keeping the temperature at a comfortable cool setting. Enjoyed our stay. Was close to our destination and quiet.
- 3/5
Only stayed one night bed and pillows where uncomfortable
- 5/5
Small dining area and not much room for breakfasts. Also hallways and stairs smelled like weed pretty badly.
- 2/5
Expired milk, ants in the coffee creamer bolw and counter. Dirty shower curtain and the ac unit squealed when running.
- 5/5
Very old hotel but the room was clean and the breakfast was above and beyond our expectations. Friendly staff.
- 4/5
Enjoy the staff

Our stay was very nice. We did not eat the breakfast so I can not comment on that. The room was nice. The front desk gentleman was very nice, friendly and helpful. I would stay here again if im in the area.
- 4/5
Clean, quiet hotel. Air conditioner was too small to adequately cool the room. Modest breakfast was ok. Great staff
- 3/5
Noisy at night
- 4/5
We had a comfortable room that was quiet and clean. It was very nice to have windows that open to let in fresh air at night.
- 1/5
Owful place. Bleach snelling
- 5/5
Very clean. Great breakfast. Coffee available all day. Helpful staff.

- 5/5
Property was clean, family friendly, and affordable. Not walkable but a couple of minute drive to shopping and dining options. Great value for the dollar!
- 5/5
All was good & would definitely stay at this place again.
- 5/5
Great place to stay! Comfortable, good location and a good price
- 5/5
This place was much better than i thought it would be with the mixed reviews. We were pleasantly surprised how nice it was. Staff was friendly. Our room was very clean. Our bed was very comfortable. There was a microwave and a refrigerator in our room. We could have eaten breakfast there, but we were meeting friends. It smelled good though! I didn't give it a5 on Area around property, due to a parking lot for a business where they parked their trucks and other equipment. That was on the backside. Overall it was a decent place to stay. I do not agree how they jack the price up when there is an event in town. Price gouging in my opinion. We were there only to sleep and shower.
- 5/5
I really liked the easy access in and out through the front doors without any problems checking in and out!! Great full breakfast clean rooms and friendly staff!!! It was a relaxing stay for our Anniversary weekend!!!
- 5/5
The staff were kind and attentive. Easy off and on from I-57. The room was clean, comfortable, and updated with a quiet efficient heating system. The simple breakfast was fresh and filling.
- 5/5
Was actually pretty good, room was clean, staff was attentive and polite. Would come again!
- 1/5
This was a terrible hotel and the staff has no interest in helping resolve issues.
- 5/5
Great service!
- 3/5
Property is well used. Needs updating, or at least painting. Doors and trim are scuffed, interior furnishings are clearly well used. Breakfast is spartan. Staff was fine, and as a room to crash in for the night at any other time it was ok, but for $400/night for Dads Weekend at U of I, it wasn't particularly impressive. No idea what their rates are normally, but they're clearly a step below the Country Inn/Hampton/Courtyard/HEI level. Lots of room for improvement.
- 3/5
Was disappointed in the pool availability. Binder in room said it was open Memorial Day through Labor Day. Sign at desk said the pump wasn't working. Online should've notated something. Continental breakfast was supposed to be served until 10AM on weekends, but on Saturday, they started putting things away at 9AM...only 20 minutes after we sat down to eat.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful from check in to check our. Cleanliness overall was pretty good- I would recommend a good wipe down of room walls and removal of the unwell plant by the elevators, but bedding was clean and fresh and bathroom was also very clean. My husband said the coffee maker was very dirty, but I don’t use those no matter what hotel room I’m in! The bathroom space is a little cramped but still functional. Overall, we were pleased with the accommodations as well the price, given the average room rates in CU for U of I homecoming weekend.
- 3/5
The staff was nice and did the best they could with what they have. Regardless, some of our outlets didn’t work, there was a weird smell that we had to air out, and bathroom was subpar.
- 4/5
The staff was nice and the room was clean but when you walk in and the hallways had an odd odor like old mold. The room was not as bad.
- 4/5
The gentleman who checked us in was amazing, so kind and friendly. I think he was still working the next morning when we left, what a trooper. He recommended Neil Street Blues for dinner and it was really good, highly recommend. The room was nice. It did have a damp smell to it. But, the bed was clean and comfortable and the bathroom was also very clean. Thank you.
- 5/5
Everyone was so NICE and KIND. I checked out a little late and they made NO big deal of it. The room was very clean as well. Thank You. Blessings 🙏, Ed
- 1/5
We checked in but did not feel safe or clean at this place. Seemingly there were drug deals going on in the parking lot...just didn't pass the vibe test. We decided to not even stay the night.
- 4/5
Our room was wonderful as was the staff- very helpful.
- 5/5
Everything was good
- 3/5
Stayed here for two days. We were unable to lock bathroom doors. Carpets were not clean. If you walk barefoot your feet gets black. Food was average. Only waffles were good
- 2/5
It was okay…except it smelled of mold really bad. The elevator was where the smell was stronger.
