Easy check-in and parking. The lobby looked outdated and cluttered. The room had adequate lighting, good shower preassure and functional amenities. The shower head had built up lime scale and the carpet had a couple of stains. Nice quiet area.

The supposedly hot food was cold, 2 days no yogurt in yogurt macine, no jelly put out had to ask for it, orange juice bitter, cold biscuits, just totaly unappetizing breakfast 3 days in a row.

It served its purpose perfectly as a place to sleep. My only criticisms are that the channels on the TV did not match the list of channels they provide, and one morning there was no meat available at breakfast. I mean it was not offered, not that there was none left.

Walking distance to many stores/restaurants. Not nearly enough parking. We had to park in another parking lot and walk to our room. Our room had no towels and the tub was dirty when we called the office for towels, we were told they would bring some. After waiting 30+mins we had to go ask for them/get them ourselves. We will not be staying at this location again.

The AC was definitely working. That's a plus. Breakfast was just ok. The 1st room we were assigned, the bathroom light wasnt working. So they changed us rooms with no problem. Bit in that room, the lights in the ceiling werent working. We didnt change again because the vanity area and lamp lighys provided more than enough lighting for our needs. The bed was very comfortable and the lady wlrking the front desk was very friendly.

Staff was courteous and checkin was great. The room lacked in providing adequate resources such as towels. There were only 2 large towels for 3 people. There should be a minimum of 4 towels in a double queen room. Also, the shower was not hot. I had to shower in lukewarm water and the shower curtain was way too short, so water got all over the floor. I would not choose to stay at this property again.

The floor still had carpet which due to cleanliness, germs and bed bugs should no longer exist in hotels. I was hoping to watch some HBO but was unable to get any cable channels at all on the television. The remote control was very old with faded lettering. There was no diagram with instructions for it but I went through every conceivable combination of buttons on the remote and all I could get were about a dozen non-cable channels. There was also no coffee maker in the room. ALSO: I called for a pizza delivery from a place listed in the room literature as being next to the hotel, but it was no longer there. After I bought some snack bars from the lobby, they crumbled apart when I opened the packages, were extremely sticky, had apparently melted at some point, and tasted old.

This place has the BEST beds ever! The parking lot is smallish but the beds are so comfortable and the people that work there are so pleasant and helpful! I didn’t eat the breakfast so I don’t know about that but I will definitely go back just for the beds home away from home…….

Near the train, shopping, restaurants Dog feces in the parking lot, the green swimming pool, the room smelted of dog urine and mold. Kept charging me for the stay after I had paid via booking.com, and you guys, would get the charge removed, they kept reposting the charge.

I did NOT stay in this hotel because it was uninhabitable. YET, I was billed for the entire stay even though I did not stay more than 5 minutes and I saw the room and the manager was there when I saw it and cancelled the room stay right then and there.

The bed sucks the TV sucks, no guide even the guide on ch 2 does not match the channel. The pool has a white powdery substance on the surface. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone else. Definitely never return to a Best Western hotel again.

It was a good experience. The room was clean, and the hotel was near a lot of conveniences. The only issue was that the drain cover in the tub was broken, so I had to keep it open by sticking the soap (unopened in the packaging) between the tub and the drain, which worked fine.

I asked for a downstairs room when I booked because I was with my mom and godfather who can not do stairs much due to disability. The Hotels.com web site. We found a nearby indoor. Splash facility.. The breakfasts were. Great and staff managing the breakfasts did a great job. This location was very. Central to many activities we. We’re there to enjoy….the sports park, the Austin Steam Train. Association yard to see the train come and go,, really good restaurants for supper.. Our stay was very nice..

The person that checked us in was nice enough but not overly welcoming. Only problem we had was at night, returning to our room, all 3 of our card keys were demagnetized. It was very cold out and we had to go down to the front desk to reactivate them.

It was a reasonable stay at a price, but the real thing I’ll say is the shower was one of the best I’ve seen in hotels in the while. It had real water pressure and a nice showerhead that was probably the best thing about it.

Needed a place to shower, lay down and watch House of the Dragon and that is what I got. Room smelled like a mop bucket, clean but dirty at the same time, smell was overbearing. Couch had a rip in the arm, side table legs looked like they had been chewed on by an animal, large fly in the room upon my arrival (had a big blaster in my car so it did not last long). Shower had mold in the corners, mattress almost folded in half when I laid on it, had to take the cushions from the couch and put them under the mattress at the head of the bed. The only positive was the fridge was super cold and the water pressure was top of the line, full force from the shower head and the sink. Will never stay here again.

Comfortable enough one night stay visiting friends in the area. The night clerk was super nice as we were asking him for random things like utensils at 11pm. Made an average motel experience, above average ;)

This hotel is the best bang for your buck in the area. It doesnt look as pretty from the outside as some of the other, newer hotels in the area, but it's clean, and has everything you need. Rooms are spacious, bed was decently comfortable, and I like that the toilet/bath is separate from the vanity sink area because that makes 2 people getting ready easier. There is a hot breakfast included also. The rooms are outside entry, and I don't think there is an elevator if you're on the 2nd floor, but if those aren't an issue for you, I higy recommend this place!

The hotel itself is older and could use some improvements. There is an air gap in the front door, carpeting is dated. Good location. Close to restaurants, shopping, etc. We did stay 2 days so it wasn't awful- just needs upgrades.

Quite literally one of the most awful experiences at a hotel that I've ever had in my entire life. The staff is incredibly rude and unhelpful. Sarah at the front desk is what I would call a monster. She REFUSED to take a message, let me speak to a manager, leave a voicemail, or speak to management through email; all while calling me many names. Sarah was also very rude to my husband after she kept hanging up on me. She couldn't provide me a receipt from a $50 deposit they took at check in. Claimed to have released it and told me to "get over it" and she "doesn't know what to tell me it's my problem." Hung up on me over 30 times. Truly disgusting behavior and I'll let everyone know on every platform I can. Don't wish this hotel nightmare on anyone seriously stay away!!!!

Convenient location. Helpful and friendly staff. Room was clean but needs updating. Loud window ac units and lots of areas on walls and ceiling that had been patched with paint to cover cracks or previous damage. Office and breakfast area has strong disinfectant smell.

Very disappointed with this hotel! Very dirty, strong smell was in the room that made my asthma act up. Sheets made us itch all night long, cockroaches were in the bathroom. When I went to the front desk and asked if I can get a refund and leave after I arrived by 10 minutes, the guy called his manager and asked if that was possible, the manager said no, ridiculous!! Will never stay there again

Didnt notice when we first arrived until my two toddlers started complaing of things biting their feet. Sure enough i used my flash light and there was hundreds of ants everywhere.

I completed a reservation through Expedia with Best Western Inn for August 5th through Aug 8th. I arrived at 4 am on the 5th. I was unaware of any check in times. The hotel charged me to stay that morning since i was chexking in before 11am. Once we walked in the room door we saw one coackroach. I had driven all the way from OKC and was tired so we went to bed. We got up the next morning and started getting ready for the day. I then noticed more roaches and ants. I spoke to the front desk and asked for a refund and advised them i was going to end my stay. They offered another room which was NOT clean and had food particles all over the furniture and floors. I proceeded to terminate my stay that was reserved for 3 days on top of paying for a full night (4am-11am) since i arrived before 11 am on the 5th. The hotel agreed to refund me 2 days i had already paid for one night and only stayed one night. I requested a full refund due to only staying one night and paid for it seperately. The hotel declined refunding me.

An affordable, well maintained motel that allowed us to stay in Austin comfortably while visiting our daughter for three days. Great breakfast and very hospitable staff. No complaints!!

The rooms were a bit shabby. The beds was not comfortable. The tub looked like it had been reglazed but not well. Towels were thin. Pool looked dirty. Loved the water pressure in the shower. After a day in hot Austin sun it took away some of the disappointment with the room

Rundown on the outside, but very clean on the inside. Pool was not attractive and there were too many truckers staying there.

We walked into the room and there were roaches on the wall, went to check the rest of room and found some in bathroom, ac vents and under ac. We asked for a refund so we can stay somewhere else but all they wanted to do is offer us another room. After 30 minutes of going back of forth with property and hotels.com we gave in a took another room, we actually had no other choice since they wouldn't give a refund. Manager told me to come talk to them in the morning, I went down and was told manager nor owner shows up on weekends. We did get to inspect new room before we stayed. Front desk workers were nice. Only compensation was to get app and they would give me 1000 points since we book via third party. Pool was green, so kids weren't able to swim, whole reason we booked there in the first place.

We ended up not staying here. Was not expecting much based on price and the rooms were as pictured and generally clean. However check in was horrible. I reserved two rooms with double queen beds and a sofa bed. One room I was given had a broken showerhead that was dirty and dripping everywhere. The other room I was given had no sofa bed. When I informed the front office I was advised there was no other room with the sofa bed. No offer for refund or rate reduction was made. When I asked about it, I was advised the manager would need to be informed and that he would advise of the refund the next day. Overall the front office agent seemed dismissive and sneaky. It was as if ahe was trying to get us to take whatever they would give. I had to call Expedia. After they confirmed the advertised rooms or an upgrade were not available, the reservation was cancelled and accomodations were arranged elsewhere.
