B&B Huyze Weyne

This was an absolutely wonderful B&B! The owner, Katrien, was super sweet and helpful. When we arrived, she warmly welcomed us and gave us great recommendations on what to do, where to go, and exactly how to get there. We kept her map and suggestions with us at all times and found it to be very accurate. On our second night, we made a point of going to the nearby locals' restaurant she recommended, and we LOVED it! We were wishing we had another night in town so that we could go back the following night! On the day we left, we were very grateful to be able to first leave our luggage in the lobby (or behind the scenes) until later when it was time for us to leave the city and walk over to board our boat. Our whole two days in Brugge were exceptional and much of that assessment was due to Katrien and her wonderful B&B. We feel very fortunate to have found it and are definitely planning to come back, hopefully in the near future! Zero complaints or concerns.

Beautiful B&B near the heart of Brugge. The host Katrein was very helpful with things to do and very gracious.

Katrien was a fabulous host. Correspondence before our arrival was timely and Katrien greeted us on arrival. The hotel was in an excellent location, being a 5 minute walk to the main shopping streets. The room was large and comfortable and we parked our car in the car park at the rear of the property. Our ferry was bumped to a later one and Katrien let us keep our car in the car park after our check out time so that we could explore Brugge some more. The room didn't have any rugs or carpet and would have been nice to have some slippers.

Great location, lovely bright clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Katrien was a great welcoming host and very helpful with her knowledge of Bruges. The secure parking at the property was useful too. There was nothing I didn’t like

Location was great for the sites we wanted to visit. We had a top floor room with balcony that was ready when we arrived. Staff was helpful. Minor issue but limited counter space.

Everything was great, no it's or buts. Friendly and helpful, spacious, well-appointed. And a fantastic breakfast! Nothing to say here.

The room was big, clean and very comfortable with a nice view on a park. the "balcony" indicated in the reservation, was not really a balcony, too small to step on.

Spend 2 night there, end of November 2023. Great place, right in the heart of Bruges. Excellent communication with the host, she was happy to answer all our questions, help us navigate around the city and making us feel comfortable. This is exactly the hospitality you would expect from a family-run place. Room: Very nice, hardwood flooring, perfectly clean. Mainly, very spacious, not crammed like a usual hotel room. Location: 3 min walking time from one of the two main roads. 10 min walking time to the central square. Getting there: 12 mins by bus from the train station, or 10 mins by taxi (around 12 euros). After that, you will probably not need another mode of transport as I think you could walk all around Bruges. The B&B does offer some bikes for rent, though, if you prefer that. Restaurants: If you go during a popular season, make plans and reserve tables beforehand as most fine dining places were fully booked and you could not walk-in.

B&B Huyze Weyne is lovely, very elegantly decorated and ideally situated for the centre of Bruges. But I’m writing the review because the level of customer service was so good. I was unfortunately taken ill whilst I was there, and they were so helpful - bringing extra supplies and checking if I was ok and if I needed anything else. Truly exceptional service!

Host was friendly. Room was comfy and clean. Bathroom was clean with a nice big shower head. The toilet was separated from the main bathroom by a plaster wall. While this is a great idea, the space allocated was not sufficient, and I was squished in uncomfortably. Not a 'didn't like' but an 'even better if', the shower could have been improved with a second head for directed washing, as the main head is immobile.
