Location We stayed here as a family — my husband, our 3-year-old son, and I — during our visit to Bruges, and I wish we had never chosen this place. Yes, the location is perfect, right on the main square, but absolutely everything else ruined our trip. When we entered the room, it looked spacious, but it immediately felt dirty and neglected. The towels were worn out and didn’t look freshly washed, and the bed sheets had strange stains on them — which we now fear were blood stains from bed bugs. And unfortunately, we were right to worry. The couch where our little boy had to sleep was infested with bed bugs. It was horrifying. A couple of days after leaving, we all started noticing itchy red bites that took more than a week to heal. That’s when we realized we had brought the bugs home with us through our luggage. We had to call a disinfection and pest control company twice to spray our entire house. We spent days washing every single item that came with us on the trip — clothes, backpacks, toys — everything. It was an awful, stressful, and costly experience that we’ll never forget. No family should have to go through this. This place desperately needs a deep cleaning and professional pest treatment before it should ever be rented out again. I strongly urge others to avoid it until serious action is taken.

The location is amazing!!! The view was spectacular. It’s quite old and dusty. Not very clean. You’re mostly paying for the location and ambience. I would stay again mainly for the location, but knowing what I’m signing up for.

Since it is on the square, it can still be noisy late at night and first thing in the morning (cleaning).

Location was AMAZING. The apartment was perfect for our family, lots of room for everyone and we enjoyed having the kitchen. Loved the windows overlooking the place was a bit run down in places, but still very clean and comfortable. Some questionable items left in the wardrobe..

The location is outstanding and the room was more so an apartment!

Location. The property was not as described. Booking.com listing stated it was a 3 bed apartment, but there were only 2 beds and one of those was in the main living area. Property was meant to have a tumble dryer, which it did not. No tea towels in the kitchenette, so had to use a hand towel instead. Water pressure was very low, meaning that at times not water came out of the taps. Lots of broken items in the apartment eg flyscreen, windows, door handles. Both sofas had stains on them. Windows had mould. Some windows wouldn't open. Bare electrics. Property was meant to have flat screen TV's. It did not. The 2 TVs it did have were from before the turn of the century, and neither worked.

Located in city centre-Markt. Very specious. Very convenient for bus from/to train station and main attractions. Beds not very comfortable and can be noisy in early hours due to markets taking place. A bit dated and not in a very good condition

AMAZING LOCATION right in city center infront of where the horse carriages assemble. Very unique room set up.

Location and view are incredible and make up for rest Needs some TLC. All rather shabby, which gives impression not very clean but generally is. Simple fixes like lightbulbs, plug for bathtub and emptying cupboards and drawers of random contents would help. Drains smell. Didn’t get back to us re parking and there isn’t any. Pay car park not far away but v busy. We walked from station car park, which worked well but you don’t want to carry much luggage!

Being right on the main square you could not get a better location. Close to all the bars and restaurants. Nothing really. All was OK and had a great stay for 2 days.

This property has led to me having the worst vacation of my life. At 22.00 in the evening, we could not enter the property because all the doors were locked. Even though I called and wrote for hours, they didn't answer either. We stayed at another hotel for the night. And when we returned to this property at 11.00 the next morning, they asked us for another day's cost. Then, they told me that the room key also opened the outside door. It means that the keys to all three rooms in the property can open each other!!! So I couldn't stay at the hotel even though I paid for it. I also need to mention that the taps were broken when we first entered the facility. I have reported my bad experience to Booking, but I have not yet received a response from them either.

The location, right on the square you can’t beat it! The room was very spacious and had everything you’d need! Was nice to have a TV to unwind after a full day of sight seeing. It’s a little dated so could do with a bit of renovation here and there. There was also a really bad smell from the plug holes, it was pretty unbearable the first night, kept all the doors closed but then opening in the morning was horrid, just a putrid egg smell! I asked the staff if bleach could be put down the drains but I don’t think they did in the end.
