Check in was easy I guess because the guy only asked for ID, my credit card, and if I had pets. Then he slid me room keys and told me which door to use to get to the room. No greeting, no anything. To get to the back of the property where our room was we had to drive through a parking lot that had HUGE craters in it. If you have a low car beware. When opening the door to get to the hall for our room we were met with a very strong marijuana smell. Then you notice the walls are literally crumbling. Our actual room smelled musty. The bathroom smelled like cigarette smoke and there were cigarette burns in the bedding and curtains. The shower, ceiling, and curtains were all dirty. The only good thing was we never saw any bugs (surprisingly). There also wasn’t any “Do Not Disturb” sign for our door but that’s ok because we never saw any cleaning staff in any of the halls while we were there. When I booked it said they served breakfast but there was a huge sign in the lobby stating there was no breakfast. Sadly I have nothing positive to say about this place.

AC didn’t blow at full speed. Advertise breakfast included they have a sign up no breakfast
-
There is no elevator. The bathroom had mold in the corner of the shower. We didn’t feel safe. The property was not maintained as there were weeds around the building and the parking lot was riddled with potholes. There was no breakfast. The overall experience was no more than a two star hotel. When we return, we will be staying at another hotel.

Beds were comfortable Building is not in good shape, carpet inside is very dirty parking lot full of pot holes

Literally got to my room and moved the pillow to get in bed to find mouse poop. Not just a little mouse poop. I had already paid an Uber to pick me up from the airport and drop me off here because there was no shuttle. When we got there the front door (main entrance) was broken so the Uber had to drive me to the back where it was a little sketchy. I needed a room for about 6 hours, but was not staying here! I gathered my things and went to the front desk. Handed them my key and said I was checking out because there was mouse poop in my bed. He didn’t seem all that surprised. I had already called HGI who sent their shuttle over to pick me up!!! Do not stay here!

The room didn’t have a bar of soap, nor cups. Weak toilet and the TV didn’t work. Despite the website indicating a free shuttle to the airport, there was no shuttle service at all. The website said breakfast was included, but there was no breakfast. It ended up costing me much more to stay here because of the transportation costs I incurred. The only part of my stay in Minneapolis that I disliked was this hotel.

I will not recommend this place. The hotel looks creepy and the staff looks like they are not familiar with the rooms and the amenities. A lot of guest were complaining when we arrived.

Room similar as pictured above (space wise) Restaurant less than 40 feet from front door (outstanding food there) Room was ok until you notice Pic 1 - one inch gap under door (room key used for scale) anybody can look under the door at any time to see if it is occupied - room can be breached using the under door wire entry method - SAFETY RISK Pic 2 - unknown material wedge in door lock (removed by me) to prevent electric door lock from actually locking - breach hazard - this is used to breach your hotel room after you leave thinking your room is secure - SAFETY RISK Pic 3 - shower was not cleaned (ball of hair) Pic 4 - hole above shower containing black mold and also spiders were coming from there and were all over room. Pic 5 - unknown broken parts in different areas of the room (Pic of bathroom counter) Pic 6 - picture of one of many spiders that I shared the room with Gave up taking pictures at this point - but it should be known if you drive a vehicle the parking lot is a disaster - as of current the surrounding area has major road construction on going which leaves persons who use public transportation stranded. You will need to hike several blocks to catch bus. At some point the hotel HAD airport shuttle however it is now just for show- did not appear to be operational. Uber will not be happy trying to pick you up having to drive thru the war zone... I mean parking lot as stated above.

Disappointing

Don't trust what they said or what it is posted on their ads. They hesitated to give us more clean towels and there was no extra conditioner. We found garbage behind the beds. Bathroom with mold Very poor facilities
-
The parking lot is awful. The whole hotel smelled like an old smoking building. The beds were curved and sunken in the middle. The shower was leaking water out of the shower doors. The curtains didn’t close and were broken from the top. Huge mold or water stain above the window on ceiling as if top room above us was leaking water. There was no sense of security as in hallway doors were unlocked and open so anyone could walk in at night. Nobody was at the lobby when I arrived to check in. Parking lot had animal crates outside and trash everywhere.

There are many things in disrepair. The front door was not working, the lighting was poor. There is no shuttle to the airport.

When we pulled up it looked abandoned even after circling around to find the lobby. Tons of potholes, broken down shuttle buses that are rusting, random construction items, zero signage to know where to enter and generally looked poor with haphazard curtains seen from the windows from outside. Generally looked unsafe with few cars there. Only signs of life seemed to be cars going to Culver’s next door. Lobby was rundown. No one there to welcome, grubby desk, unkempt floors, old signs saying “no breakfast” and generally looked dirty with coffee stains on a table for complimentary coffee. The guy who checks in was dismissive only saying “check in 3PM” and walked away. Wasn’t even worth trying to stay here. It looked dangerous from a safety perspective like you’d be robbed. Trust your gut. When you feel like you don’t belong, GO. Also don’t trust the photos on here. Nothing like it from outside and lobby perspective. Doubtful the rooms looked anything similar to online. It’s much worse than than reviews. Stay somewhere else.

We didn’t even stay- the property is in such awful shape and condition. It’s cheap & we were only staying to catch an early flight but just could not get past how awful it was. Ended up losing out on our money- and staying elsewhere.
-
The shower barely worked, the mattress should have been replaced 10 years ago, the office chair was missing an arm rest, most bedside lamps didn't work. There was nothing redeeming about this place.
-
Although on their website as amenities, they cancelled the airport shuttle, had to take uber. They cancelled breakfast, had to purchase at airport. Bathrooms at check in out of order, had to wait until got into filthy room. Slept fully clothed and wouldn’t dare use their shower. All staff said was “they haven’t had time to change their website!” Sorry!
-
The room smells terrible so we asked to change room. We got a new room which is a little better but still smells terrible. The hallway smells like smoke n moldy. Not cleaned at all. The building is old n smells terrible. Would not recommend. Parking has a lot of pot holes.

Would not let me check in because I was not 21

when we first walked in we could smell a musty smell. we were informed that they do not have the complementary breakfast, which at the time of booking they said they did. the staff didn't seem to care that they false advertised. we didn't stay. we went next door to a different hotel.
