Nothing ! why does booking.com allow this property and the joining property the fairway on there site , allowing people to spend there hard earned money on a accommodation that is dirty and stressful , spoiling people's holiday, we had no option to stay there as couldn't afford anywhere else and every where near by was booked as it was the Easter holidays, hosts are lazy and unprofessional Everything

On arrival, we were greeted by a very nice lady called Marie, who immediately took good care of us. Everything went so smoothly, and couldn't have wished for a better welcome from our host. The room was so inviting-clean, with nice decor, and a lovely spotlessly clean bed, that smelt so fresh, and was very comfortable. There was a large smart t.v. on the wall facing the bed, and was positioned perfectly for comfortable viewing. In addition there was a wardrobe, two bedside tables, and a small lamp which made it feel cosy in the evenings. The bathroom was very clean and tidy, and we were provided with white towels and a kettle. The curtains were perfect for blocking out any unnecessary sunlight, and there was a fan to cool us down if it became too warm there was central heating in the morning and evening for when it was chilly outside, and bathroom tissue was also provided. Also there was easy access to the room with only one flight of stairs. Not applicable.

The bedding was clean The person who gave me the keys was nice. The tv did not work it was broken. There was a shirt from the previous person that smelled very bad in the room There was personal paperwork belonging to someone in the drawer that showed the room had not been cleaned properly The radiators did not work The springs on the bedding where bulging making it uncomfortable to sleep

Great value for money, the staff (Clare) are what make the stay that much better, absolutely friendly and willing to help with anything, easily approachable. You get what you pay for in terms of the room, small, cramped with very minimal noise cancelling. It was perfect for us, all we need is the bed and for it to be clean with a working and hot shower, which it was. Delay on the check-in, though we were early so no worries

Claire was a fantastic host.

Nothing. Booked here and said they couldn't accommodate when I arrived. Said they would refund my money and never did. Tried calling and emailing, no joy. Booking.com was trying to make contact for about 2 weeks. No reply. Given the cost of living and not refunding just shy of £80 for a room we could not stay in, as they didn't have any rooms left is bang out of order! They were still advertising on booking.com regardless and then trying to palm me off at a sister hotel and pay again. No morals clearly and cowboys springs to mind. Given up now, but wouldn't give this place or the owners the time of day.

Location Room was top floor with an awful smell, no staff anywhere. We arrived and had to phone a mobile and the lady gave us keys in hotel next door, in the room was no light bulb so my partner age 83 had to lean over banister for a bulb on landing as couldnt get hold of anyone, in the room there was one small towel for 2 of us its a good job I take my own. The room was tiny, felt we were in someones bedroom but thats not really a problem as we dont stay in the room. The worst was the morning we were going home the fire alarm went off and no one came, no one answered the phone for a while and when the lady answered she asked was we all ready to leave!! We all said no as we were all out in pjs freezing. No one even came to see about the fire alarm it was shocking , it was a safety issue, we will never return or recommend to anyone.
