There was absolutely nothing to like with regards to the hospitality or the property When we booked the property and arrived we paid the required fee, when we were shown the room by the manager/owner the room smelled of mould the wall paper was ripped off the walls, the shower head was secured by a hair tie and mould in the shower basin, security was an issue due to the window not being able to be properly secured, the celling was falling apart and this was a health and safety issue due to possible injury from falling celling, the attitude from the owner/manager was appauling, we had also payed for breakfast which was not available we attempted to call the owner regarding breakfast to which we had no reply and had to purchase food via other means

The location was great for the Winter Gardens where we were going to Rebellion Festival Owners were very helpful. The beach and front were very close too. Bed was comfortable, and bedding and towels appeared clean and fresh. Cost of staying was cheap at £250 room only for 5 nights in the middle of summer. I did not have high expectations, but hoped it would be at least clean. Just a little ps here, I messed up on our bus ride home, booking the wrong date, so we rushed back to the hotel. Sam and Arif happily allowed us back into our room for an extra night for £40. Very nice people, very accommodating. The room was dusty, the skirtings etc haven't seen a duster for many months. The sides of the divan looked heavily marked and old. I didn't like to check under the sheets and mattress cover, just in case! The one small chest of drawers contained stained ancient lining paper, one drawer had previous guests' rubbish in it and another, a loaf of bread which had a sell by date 7 days previously. They had obviously not been cleaned for a while, like most of the room. The tv only seemed to work on a couple of channels as the remote control (which was dirty and greasy and had no battery cover) didn't work properly. We didn't use it at all though, so it didn't matter. The shower room was dusty with old fittings and was poorly decorated with old tatty fittings. There was mould around the silicon in the shower tray, but the shower curtain was clean and the shower worked ok. The pictures on the website are ancient and must have been put on when these rooms were first fitted out. This hotel is nothing like they project now. It is grubby and this room needs totally refurbishing. You might ask why I didn't complain, well my mate and I were here for the festival and just wanted somewhere to rest our heads, which we got. If I had complained, probably little could have been done and we would have been out on the street with nowhere to stay. We coped!

The bloke who ran it was very nice and the place was excellent x N/A

The room was clean and tidy the room had reasonable facilities the bed was freshly made with plenty of pillows The room and a nice veiw the hotel could provide more coffee and milk to guests, as these seem very limited. The hotel needs to update the details on booking.com as it was previously owned by an LGBTQ couple and now it isn't.

Nice staff comfortable beds wasn't cold or wasn't too warm Room was abit small apart from that it was great
-
It felt like going from home to home, the room was a little small which felt more cosey for the 3 of us
-
Not the same place as the photos on the website. The fire exit next to our room had a padlock on it to prevent use
-
Very good

We didn’t like anything Feel like I have been catfished and robbed of my money with this booking as the pictures on the site are fake and possibly a different hotel. The only 2 reasons we stayed was 1. We had already paid via card and 2. Trying to find another place to stay last minute on a Friday night for family of 4 would of been impossible. The shower was that dirty none of us used it during our stay

Absolutely Nothing - unclean -smelt strongly of cigarettes
-
Premises weren't what I expected but staff was very friendly The room was too small

Extremely friendly and helpful hosts ? The location was pretty much spot on for where we needed to go. The rooms were very basic, but clean & comfortable. The price was reasonable enough but suppose because there was no breakfast, it could perhaps be a tad cheaper. Otherwise we were happy due to having such pleasant hosts. As a housekeeper of B&Bs once myself, I'd suggest a few things the hosts could add to the rooms. - a lamp for each bedside table. - some new colourful blinds for the windows as the ones we had were flimsy and old-fashioned. - some little shower gels and shampoos in the bathroom would be lovely, and a little rack to place them on within the actual shower. - some biscuits on the tray for snacks. ??
