Breakfast excellent. Very good help yourself section. Cereal, fruit juice, fruit basket, fruit portion mix, yogurt, pastry's. Good choice of main course cooked breakfast can recommend the full English. The proprietor's very hands on, friendly and obliging. Nothing unexpected. A lot of stairs to climb to get to our room. Didn't bother us, but some people might struggle. However we didn't ask for a room with easy access. So, we were perfectly happy on that account. There was some noise during the night. Not from adjoining rooms but from what I presume was adjoining hotel's or residential accommodation. It was very warm weather and we left the window open. Some people nearby making a fair old commotion very late on. Otherwise all Ok room size on the compact end of the spectrum. However we were out all day, room just used for evening and overnight sleep.

I was very satisfied with this accommodation. It is an excellent choice for anyone attending a festival at the Winter Gardens, as it is only a 6-minute walk away (and just as close to the beach). There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. Both owners were very friendly and helpful—they called a taxi for me and lent me a power adapter when I needed one. Every morning they prepared a made-to-order breakfast, which was delicious and offered plenty of choice. The room is small, but perfectly adequate for a comfortable stay. It even had a steam iron, which was very useful for ironing my outfits for the dance festival. You can really feel the hospitality in the room as well. Guests are welcomed with a selection of chocolates, bottled water, and everything needed to make tea or coffee, including a kettle. The bathroom is also thoughtfully stocked with complimentary toiletries and essential amenities. If I have the opportunity to return to Blackpool, I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Nothing
