The curtains actually closed completely. There was a musty smell in the elevator and in our room. My young daughter thought it smelled terrible. She said she would never stay in another La Quinta because of the experience. There was mildew and mold in the room. The floor of every bathtub we looked at (3 different rooms) was worn off and had brown rust streaks on them. The carpeted floor boards looked like they were moldy. It was a dark gray carpet that had orange spots all over it. The door to the last room we checked could hardly open. The handle was extremely difficult to turn. My daughter was so disgusted by the experience that we skipped going down for breakfast. We got in just after midnight and checked in. Because of the growth in the tub we went and asked die another room. We went to the second room and the tub was about the same. So we got a third room to check and it was the best overall. These photos are of the tub in the first room we got. The staff member who was working when we checked out was extremely nice and the best part of the entire stay.

The staff was amazing. Always helpful and at the desk, also very efficient. Room was clean little dated but still good. The reason for the 3 was there was only one elevator, pool and hot tub felt like the same temperature and the breakfast was scrambled eggs and sausage the whole time.

The room was ok and the staff was nice, but the hotel’s water heater went out and they weren’t sure if they could have it repaired befor the end of our stay being it was a holiday weekend. So we had to check out early and get a different hotel. The sink in our also room didn’t drain and the floors and walls were extremely thin making it so you heard every step anyone took on the floor above you. Also the main door to the room let in a lot of light from the hall way.

Location was good , staff kind and did their best under difficult circumstances. Not hot water for more than 24 hours, breakfast was terrible ( no healthy choices) no housekeeping services were offered. The hotel is old and needs updating badly!!!!

Front desk staff were amazing! There were flees unfortunately and I’m guessing other bugs since my husband broke out and was itching all over. The pool was fun and had towels available for when you were done swimming which was convenient. Breakfast was really good too. Tubs were rusted and the floors being carpet did not help. If owners would take time to remodel and fumigate the rooms some then this would be the perfect hotel for us.

Our flight was rebooked for the next day and we had to stay in Dallas. I booked this place semi-hastily, I saw good reviews and a reasonable price. But then while waiting approx 45 mins for the shuttle (the driver was very nice) I was looking closer at reviews. Every single good review is mainly for the staff. Friendly staff is great, but you’re not really staying with the staff you are staying in the room. Upon arrival there was no one at the front desk around 10:30pm. Lots of flights were cancelled so I get it’s busy, and once someone arrived we were checked in quickly around 11pm. The place is pretty run down, the elevator was rough, the 4th floor hallway smelled smokey and musty. In the room I was greeted with a strong smell of air freshener. The lampshades were tattered, the thermostat did not work at all. I didn’t complain because we were just too tired, but it was a room where you are hesitant to take your shoes off as the carpet looks sticky. The carpet was less sticky than it looked though. There were stains surrounding the bed, I didn’t inspect the rest of the bed too closely. The towels had holes in them. You get what you pay for pretty much.

I can’t say enough how kind and helpful the staff was! My family and I experienced some unfortunate A/c issues and had to get a hotel. The staff made are stressful time so peaceful and worry free! I couldn’t thank them enough

Only 1 elevator for 4 floors and it also jerks when it stops The breakfast attendant didn't wear gloves while filling food area and proceeded to use her hands to wipe spilled food off the counter into her other hand instead of using a cloth to clean. Our bathroom sink leaked The pool although warm needs more chlorine or a better filter system at 7pm the water was very cloudy and looked like river water

The location was perfect for visiting my family and the activities we wanted to do. We did appreciate that when our air conditioner stopped working, it was replaced immediately. That was great service! The one and only elevator was broken when we arrived. They put us on the 2nd floor, we are not spring chickens, it was a lot to carry up the steps. No offer to help except to open the door from the parking lot if we had trouble coming in. The elevator did get fixed, it always looked in need of vacuuming. The breakfast sat out longer than the breakfast time, which made me doubt the freshness of it. Depending on who was working, some staff were friendlier than others. (We were there 7 nights)

Rooms was ok nothing special not even the Suites. Rooms have musty odor so keeping A/C on is a must. Sofa bed had sheets on them already and looked used. Breakfast was basic cold and limited variety. Staff was nice the cook looked overwhelmed and housekeeper would said I don’t speak English so that became a burden because it left me leaving my room to go to front desk constantly to get items that was missing from my room Only great thing bout this visit was location it’s around everything so that’s a plus. I don’t recommend staying on 2nd floor either it’s so hot and stuffy when you get off the elevators

Good choice for airport shuttle. We returned a car the evening before early flight. Staff worked hard but needed support to deal with a few issues on phone as guests arrived. He was very apologetic however and the stay was good!

Had two rooms. Found an empty water bottle stuffed between the mattress and headboard, pens on the floor, and mold in the sink in one. In the second room, more sink mold and the shower head fell off mid-shower. Carpet is old and worn, walls are purple (not kidding), and the elevator had trash in it….needed some seriously cleaning too!

Convenient proximity to the highway. Parking lot well lit and felt secure. Nice lobby. Comfy beds. Included breakfast was well stocked and tasty. Nice gym (treadmill, stationary bike, some weights) to get in a quick workout before more travel and sitting a lot. The free shuttle service to and from the airport was timely and the driver was friendly and helpful. The phone in our room didn’t work (we tried to call the front desk to get more towels, but needed to go down to them to ask instead). The tv in our room didn’t work and the maintenance person didn’t successfully fix it (to their defense, the person mentioned that they were new TVs and that they’d just gotten a staff training on how to troubleshoot the device the day prior). The mini fridge froze some of our food (fresh cut fruits, veggies, and yoghurt).

Good price compared to other nearby hotels. Comfortable and straightforward for a place to stay a few nights. Elevator was not functioning, We were on the 4th floor, not a problem being an able bodied person but an inconvenience when returning with two hands full of breakfast items.

There was maintenance going on in multiple rooms, but the doors were left cracked open making it possible for children to easily go into an unsafe work place. And a maid left a key card in the hallway making all rooms easily accessible if picked up from the wrong person.

Checking staff was really nice. Hotel is run down. The elevator is old and smells. Room 221 the shower tub was dirty. The carpet smelled there were hairs that were not mine on the right side table. There is no house keeping on Sunday's. The towels smelled dirty not sure if they are changed after last guest leaves.

I had to move rooms 3 separate times. Each room looked and felt as if the doors had previously been kicked in. All 3 latches were broken or loose. The key scanner did not work for my keys after being reset after 4 trys but the managers worked right away. I was traveling with my young daughter and toung niece. I was too scared to stay and checked out after the 3rd room change. I probably stayed about 1 and a half hours and was still charged full price. The front desk clerk had his truck parked in front of the door, which made unloading out vehicle in the snow difficult. They did not leave a liner for the dirty ice bucket. There was only one small trash can. The couch was dirty. Very poor lighting, and multiple switches did not work.

The highest quality room in the place... there was a broken spoon on the floor, a piece of black rubber, a tie down under the couch. More trash under the sofa that i discovered when i pulled out the bed part. No extra blanket for the sofa bed... light flickering whenni turned it on in the bedroom... no curtain on the door separating the bed room from the living room...

Stayed the week while working in the metroplex. Location was great as I can get to either Ft Worth or Dallas in a timely manner depending on time of day for traffic. Staff was great! Very friendly and helpful. Welcoming every time when I came in, 5 in the afternoon 3 in the morning or 8 at night. I am planning on staying at this location dry often for work or personal time.

The living area is closed off for your privacy. Two way bathrooms door for extra guests.you can lock the bathroom door from the bedroom area when you are sleeping in the living area. Extra sink in living area also. The are is quite, and a restaurant right across from hotel, just walk right across. VERY LARGE SUITES,!

Our room was clean with plenty of space to spread out and relax. Good breakfast options, and helpful staff. We played cards in the dining area Friday evening and had a great stay.

Our room was never cleaned while we were there even though they said it would be, the staff seemed very disinterested in their job, and the room was opened when we arrived. Probably just the cleaning staff forgetting to close the door but not very nice to arrive to. I did like that the staff called a couple days before to say it might be loud because of large parties staying there and tried to help find a solution. One couldn't really be found but it was nice they tried.

Therr was a big halloween party going on and whilr we were warned ahead of time, we didn't realize me and my 75 year old mother would be placed on the 3rd floor with no working elevator due to said party members trying to fit too many people on the elevator and breaking it. I

It was so hot till the heat in the hallway kept my Room Hot … put it on 60 and it went up to 71 every time I set it , I asked about being refunded for 1/2 of my bill and no manager on duty… Have to check on Monday to talk to someone

Jane checked us in and was the sweetest person every time we saw her. Cathie was the breakfast person and was very helpful in answering questions for me due to my child having severe allergies. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitly stay there again.

We booked a King suite and shortly after check-in, their was a plumbing issue resulting in our toilet overflowing into several areas of the suite and lobby area. Desk clerk Jasmine was very accommodating and manager Jane Likio did her best to make the rest of our stay extremely comfortable and enjoyable.

It was a good hotel, not great… Area around is nice. Check in was a breeze, room didn’t have bedding changed after our first night in the hotel, no new towels or anything. Also marks left on back of bathroom door in marker and door handle didn’t want to latch fully. 2.5 out of 5 stars IMO

The room was dirty. There were old food scraps and containers behind the fridge. We saw roaches in our room. The blankets were thread bare and had huge holes in them. We had to ask for a remote because we didn’t have one. The water in the sink and the tub drained super slowly. The bottom of the beds were disgusting and had something all over them. There were spots in the floor so sticky that my socks literally got stuck to it.

First time at a La Quinta, now I know it is Spanish for ghetto! Room was canceled due to some problem with room, so got two rooms as replacement, not a huge deal. Keys did not work, he’d to go to desk 5 different times for new keycards. Pool light came out of the side and was floating, so pulled kids out just to be safe. The other people that stayed there was the worst part. Most were married to their cousin, drunks, or people that did not watch their kids running everywhere and slamming doors nonstop. Multiple people yelling and fighting through the day and night. Lots of bare feet and pajama pants. It was like Walmart people were all staying there. The lobby was blazing hot. This is a motel not a hotel. The only positives were the friendly staff and a SaltGrass Steakhouse across the parking lot from it. Never again!

The hotel was in a decent area. After check-in, we went to our room which had a bad smell in it. We noticed dried up feces on the ironing board. After telling front desk, they moved us to a different room which was better. The elevator had rust in it, the whole hotel looked very old and outdated.

The stay was very disappointing. We have stayed here before and was very satisfied. This last visit there was a decline. Was under staffed, didn't clean room as requested and when they did clean that didn't do a good job. Didn't take the trash out, didnt clean the bathroom. Left no towels. When asked for towels only had full body no hand towels. The door key to get into room didn't work. You had to insert several times to enter into room.

Comes down to the age old saying that you get what you pay for. I could overlook the fact that its a little outdated, less amenities, and you could sometimes hear people on the upper floor. The deal breaker was the ac in the room not blowing cold. Im pretty sure i had read a review of another person complaining about that. Gotta listen to your guests! Luckily it was just a 1 night stay but i would not recommend or stay again. Nobody likes to sleep in a hot room no matter the price!

The elevator was out of order for 2 1/2 days of my 3 day visit so I had to carry my bags upstairs. The air conditioning in the workout room was not functioning for the entire 3 day visit so it felt as though I was working out in a sauna. Dogs barking at 4 in the morning woke me up.

I don’t believe I received the service / room for what I paid for. Arrived and advised elevators were not working. Overlooked that because stairs was not a problem. Room appeared to be dirty. Had to bring back Lysol wipes and remove used bedding from pull out bed. Luckily the night staff was kind and helpful by supplying us with additional bedding and towels. The dobt believe room was prepared for us as requested due to elevator issue and staff trying to accommodate with a room at a lower floor level. When stepping out that evening my firm I signed in with was still laying in the counter with my info. No staff available to inquire about new bedding and towels. Someone did approach not sure what the position was and said they would pass on info and that some linen was being washed. Wes decided to inquire upon our return from our outing. Upon our return the night staff took care of us. We didn’t complain and made the best of our stay. Lupe New

I love this hotel. It’s my go to when I come to Dallas. Not too far from downtown but far enough. It’s next to a steakhouse and many convenience stores. It’s quiet and safe enough for a morning jog and not to mention the indoor pool and hot tub are never crowded. Definitely staying again soon!

I had terrible experience since day one . I had a reservation for four days and I leave after midnight of my “second” stay. Basically a lot of rooms need maintaince (some of them are in maintenance or just recently painted ) elevator has problems, They don’t clean your room when they should do it. I only spend one night ( Wednesday June 18) and leave Friday June 20 at 12:15 am. ( I got to the hotel at 11:36pm of June 19, spend 30min inside the dirty room and tmx EXPEDIA agent) I requested my refund for at least two nights when to been fair , they should refund me every thing for all the inconvenience that I went through

I decided to add one more night. I called the hotel and spoke with the manage ( Miss Jane) she told me that I will stay in the same room from June 18 to June 22. The first that I got assigned had a machine in there and the AC wasn’t working . The second room it was “ ok “ ( AC doesn’t working properly ). I was already sleeping when suddenly a strong plaster smell woke me up. I also had dust plaster in my nose!!! So I called the front desk and at 1 in the morning they switched me to a better room. The night of June 19 when I went to my room, my key didn’t work!! I went downstairs at the front desk and they fixed the key. As soon as I got inside my room I noticed that my luggage wasn’t there !! I called the front desk and they brought it to me . Morning June 20 I found Miss Jane ( the manager) and I requested her to be sure that my room will be cleaned . That night when I arrived, the elevator didn’t work, I had to walk 4 floors!! At the moment that I opened the door, I had another big surprise: My room was looking exactly the same way that I leave it !!!(dirty) . I called the front desk requesting towels and at the same time I contacted EXPEDIA. I was in contact via tmx with EXPEDIA for 25-30 min explaining my situation and requesting refund for the two nights that I won’t be there. That was the exactly time that took for some one to brought me towels !!! I decided to leave I had enough!! The EXPEDIA agent contact the property

The room was very clean, and most staff was extremely friendly. The only reason I’m not giving a full 5 stars is because there was a larger, younger man (I assume he was younger but couldn’t tell for sure because he was wearing a mask) with dark hair and was very rude, refused to even acknowledge me when I simply asked him to turn the lights on in the dining room so everyone didn’t have to eat in the dark. I raised my voice and asked several times (at one point I truly thought he might have been deaf which isn’t a problem as I’m fluent in ASL) but when he finally turned around and looked at me he rolled his eyes and shook his head yes but still took an additional 15 minutes to turn on the lights. Other than that, the pool was great, place was clean, and there’s a Saltgrass right next door that had great service and food!

They gave us the wrong rooms , not the one we had reserved, one was was absolutely filthy. Hotel is old and falling apart, air barely works in some rooms, filthy, nasty. Need front desk people that actually know what they are doing. It was horrible and will never stay there again!!!!

The stay was no bad, the staff however was absolutely wonderful. Our room wasnt terrible but housekeeping definitely wasnt a 5 star. Dirty wash rags from previous person was still hanging on the shower curtain, food left in the fridge, trash in drawer, jus little things that definitely could have been done better but beds were clean an the room an bathroom seemed clean. The room itself had an odor but it wasnt too bad. We passed on breakfast.

I checked in late at night, exhausted and the staff member hardly looked up from the show he was watching on his cell phone. It felt like I was bothering him by asking him to check me in. He didn't even ask me for ID when I checked in smh someone else could've checked in under my name and there wouldn't have been an issue- shady to me! Then when I went to the room he assigned there was a dog across the hall that was barking non stop and to top it off my keys didn't work. I went back down and asked for a new room and keys that work. He took my keys and never responded to me at all just handed me new keys and said my new room number. I get it's late but this type of customer service is ridiculous.

We had several issues with our door keys not working. The carpet in the room was sticky too walk on base foot. All 3 lamp shades were broken. It looked like the tub was not clean due to brown stains in the bottom of it. Several burn holes in the comforter. The elevator and our floor smelt of weed even though it was a non-smoking establishment. Stains on the ceiling and holes in the wall. The hard water made it difficult to shower and fell clean. The staff was friendly. But the quality of the rooms was not great. Definitely not worth the price that I paid. And for a Wyndham property, I'm very disappointed!

Besides the waffle mix being watery and therefore not thick as usual, there was not one issue with the entire stay. We stayed here specifically for the waffles for my 6 year old. After a couole tries we found using 2.5 times the amount of mix made the perfect waffle and he was so happy

The problem was they were under staff. One maintenance person, one in kitchen--both working very hard! Food for breakfast very limited and poor quality. At start of breakfast only 4 Yoplait. Stayed in a Wyndum in CA amazing...this not so much. Staff worked hard. Not desk staff...did not know much.

This motel is horrible! Bed sheets never changed, smelled and hairs all over the bed from the previous person. Sink and tub with hairs. Couch and chair seems like they got it from the dumpster. Staff unfriendly. Room phone didn’t work at all. I spoke to an overweight guy at the front counter and asked to change my bed sheets and it was not. This place looks like it’s falling apart. STAY AWAY

There was a broken sofa bed in our room, and the desk clerk said they were booked and didn't have another room to give us. He said he could call a handy man. We waited an hour and no handy man, so we decided to leave and go to another hotel. My full refund better happen, or there will be a problem!

Fresh lemon water and fresh coffee upon entry was convenient. I absolutely love staff-Jasmine. A steakhouse is right next door and Walmart is a 12 minute walk. Safe area with lots of convenient stores. I would have liked hangers in the room. Will be back and I do recommend.

Now Iam here at 1 am, and there is no shuttle service. An Uber is $50 and Iam not willing to pay this. Your daytime employee lied to me, as he probably is not aware that there is no longer shuttle service between MN and 4 AM. Not only do I not have a shuttle, but I hustled to the shuttle pick up spot and now I am outside the terminal and cannot get back in until 4 AM. Now I must sit in baggage claim awake until they open again Totally unacceptable. I expect a refund for this total inconvenience and ask the hotel to please inform all of their front desk employees that they no longer have a 24 hour shuttle service. Staff was amazing, from check-in to breakfast to custodial. Everyone I came in contact with was very nice and helpful! Room was clean. Pillows were uncomfortable, but seems standard in hotels these days. Breakfast was standard fare but was good. Breakfast area was clean. Gabby was working her tail off! Only problem was that as we were ready to check out, the elevator wasn’t working. Easy enough to get to and from the places we needed to go. We will stay here again when in the area.

Received checknout text after i had already checkdd out and when trying to complete kept getting a failed to checkout error. Also had a mentally disturbed man on property for 25hrs. Very scarey situation.
