Everything was great except the way they don't welcome visitors. I had to rent a room for each person just so they could visit me if I wanted them to visit me. Obsurd. Since when are hotels not visitor friendly? I mean, at the end of the day we are ALL visitors.

The room it’s had a very moldy smell and I don’t even know what to say about the comforter on the bed. I went and bought my own blanket. There were so many cigarette burns and reddish brown stains on it. Also the shower was a very big safety hazard it was more slippery than ice when I stepped in it.

There was visible mold on the ceiling of my room to he point I had to go to a different hotel. The couch had a piece broken off and it was just set in the corner of the room. The bed was missing an entire side and there was visible grease on the tables and tv stand.

Didn't like the fact of makings reservations for single king size and being made up by giving me a double full that was almost twin size

Room was clean and came with functioning amenities. Service was helpful when needed. Overall I would come back. If you get a below average room, just go to the front desk, and I'm sure they will give you a different room (I didn't have that problem, but I saw many reviews complaining about this, so I thought I would give my two cents).

The maids came and did a full clean on the time everyday at 11. But only if you were in the room. I was working nights and lucky caught them when they came to clean. Says there was breakfast. Small cinnamon buns and muffins and sunny d sometimes in the morning. No where to plug in a phone by the bed no outlets or lamps.

Customer service was very short and rude, housekeeping seemed rushed there were roaches in my room they couldn't find my reservation for the longest time and there was left over food in the microwave I'm guessing from a previous guest

When we first walked into the room, the A/C was already on and the room felt great. The refrigerator was also nice and cold . And ready for items to be placed inside. The shower was pleasantly hot or cold for anyone's choice of temperature.

My room was nasty, toilet not flushed when we got into room. There is no breakfast like thet offer and Front desk clerk was slow and rude.i 2as also charged double and argued with and threatend. I will bever stay there ahmgainm

While the room was clean, beds were not that comfortable. The “breakfast” was cereal, toast or honey bun.(kinda lacking). Parking was ample and location was good.

Very friendly front desk. The room got super cold which is a plus. It was also very quiet at night which being so close to IH-10 was surprising.

Burn holes in the bedding and someone lovingly carved "f*CK you" in the door and written other niceties in nail polish on other parts of the room. Had a very meth-head vibe to it. Sorry to say at 100.00 a night.

It was a last minute decision to stay at Palace Inn. I had already gotten a room on the other side of town, but plans got cancelled so I ended up booking a room here. The room smelled, bed wasn't comfortable and I wasn't sure if the sheets had even been washed. The bathroom was the worst. The towel rack was coming off the wall, the bathtub was filthy and the toilet seat was just about to come off. No carpet in the room and floors were dirty. Found dirty sheets and towels in the drawer of the dresser. And if that wasn't bad enough I found drug paraphernalia in the cabinet in the kitchen. It made me feel dirty just staying there. Don't think I'll be returning to the Palace Inn. It's as if no one took the time and effort to clean the room.
