Location was superb. Tiny room with no windows. Noisy at times as room was directly next to reception desk.

Very, very, very good location. Staff was good, 100% good value for short stay.

Good location Unclean, uncomfortable, in the room wall fixed with paper and tape, wardrobe with stains inside... In bathroom airconditioning was full of dust and (by the smell) probably mold too, the smell of mold and humidity was in the whole room. Looks better on the photos here than the reality.

Cleanliness and hygiene. Heavy smell. Been bitten by some insects.

The location was perfect being at the city centre. The bed was comfy. Walls are thin. The shower had hard water stains which indicate it had not been washed down. Saw what was possibly an old blood stain on blanket

Good air con, shame only works when lights on. Cockroaches, blood stained sheets, poor value. Not great but understood it would be rough when we booked. For those planning on not staying in the hotel room during the day, it will be okay for short stays. Expensive but good location and probably cheapest option in the centre where you don't have to share a room.

Excellent location at the heart of the city. Helpful staff. Wasn’t that clean. The air conditioner didn’t work at all. The bathroom wasn’t convenient because of a step inside ! & the hot water tap didn’t work well. Value for money considered very expensive.

Location Altough its central located, this “hostal” is a nightmare. I have over 300 bookings in my life, this is probably the worst. So, the single room i had is right next to reception, u cant never rest. The personal is always talking and u hear everything like they re next to you. The room is the smallest thing ever. Cockroaches on the floor. Big noise coming from bathroom. No shower gel, no nothing. I hope i wont get any skin condition after this stay. They close the hotel after 1 pm, beware. The personal was awful, disrespectful and trying to get more money from you!

The property is close to the Catalunya square and close to fast food restaurants. Lets start off with the disgusting smell of manure in the ground floor of the building. After that we move on to the very unpleasant staff that received us upon arrival. Then we move on to the rooms, first of all the A/C is working very poorly. The room is nothing like the description. The room is very loud and with very little. Would not recommend to anyone

It’s location It was not clean enough for me. I’ve never been to a hostel where the receptionist enters your room to change your towels unannounced. This has really freaked me out. I didn’t like that the room’s walls are quite thin I could literally hear the receptionist sneezing, coughing and his phone notifications. It was very uncomfortable and annoying. Thank God I spend the whole day out and I only came back when I’m completely exhausted to be able to sleep right away and not have any more problems getting myself to sleep through these inconveniences. I really looked forward to leaving this. I’ve been to a smaller room in Cordoba but it was magical, comfortable and CLEAN. I know that cleanliness varies from a person to another but I really hope this skin allergy that I have now is not because of bed bugs or anything serious. I had a private room with bathroom as I said my room is right next to the reception so I don’t know what are the other rooms look like

Bathroom sink drain pipe leaked on the floor. The sink was also not properly fixed to the wall. The shower head was also not properly sealed and sprayed water out the back. Had to ask for the remote for the AC at the front desk. (february is cold in the nights in Barcelona). They keep all AC remotes in a drawer there! Once we had the remote, the AC did not even work, so there was no heating in the room. I asked for an extra towel due to the sink drain pipe leaking. I was simply told no, we can only exchange our current towels for fresh ones, but no extra. Mattresses were horribly uncomfortable. No support at all. You sink into it to the bottom. May as well lie on the floor. The listing says that a hair dryer is included. We did not find one in our room and asked for it at the reception. The guy handed me one and said to return it after we use it!

Location, near to Catalunya square, Boquera market and walking distance to most of the attractions . The place is not clean, I even show it to Ahmed how dirty the top & drawers of the dresser,,I have to asked for rags to clean it before I can used it. The room smells so bad like the backup drainage gas,I have to leave the bathroom fan & door closed all the time and bought air freshener but can't over power the smell.Reported it almost every day ,just sprayed air freshener. Asked for a change room but told me that's the only single room with private bathroom. I can't believe that booking.com have these property on their accommodations list I endured the smells since most of the time I was out and few days only. Also,Ahmed was rude , upset easily and very defensive when reporting complaints. Can't asked any questions, very abrupt when he answer ,no sense of humor. Tourism is their main business.

Swimming pool When check in room cards were not programmed properly I couldn’t use the lift. Had come down again to the reception and program it. The guy was irresponsible who was in charge.
