The staff were very helpful and kind. The room was clean and had all the necessarry amenities.
-
It was clean and the bed was comfortable The centralised Air conditioning system was not working well. The temperature was set at a temperature that was higher than the outside temperature. We could not sleep all through the night. The staff weren’t helpful even after calling them multiple times regarding the issue.

Very good

The property was close to few key attractions The room size was smaller and bathrooms even tinier. The air conditioning did not function properly even after complaining and it made a loud ticking noise all night which was highly annoying. There is constant noise from the road outside the hotel and no sound cancelling at all. It was difficult to sleep with the ac sound and this street noise.

The breakfast was excellent, we parcticularly enjoyed the fresh orange juice. Room was very clean, quite small but adequate for our short stay. Staff were welcoming and responded to emails I sent before arrival. All accommodation in Barcelona is very expensive. This hotel was cheaper than others in the same location and it exceeded my expectations in terms of cleanliness and the breakfast, however it is still very expensive for what we got! But I would stay again purely for the cost compared to elsewhere. The bed was a bit hard. Our shower was powerful however water leaked onto the floor under the shower screen - needs some sealant.

Lovely staff, good location and reasonably priced. The staff were very friendly and went out of their way to help. We were able to leave our bags at reception on the last day without any issues. The room was very small, and a but tired looking. The lighting wasn’t great either. It needed a bit of a spruce up.

Rooftop pool, good breakfast, comfortable bed Airconditioning directly blasting the face, but it‘s too hot to sleep without. Loud, weird noises randomly at night. Quite expensive.

The location is really good. The place is old and very poorly maintained, the "Junior" hotel is inaccessible by the main street entrance and you have to go through the Aston Hotel and go to the basement, through a long hall into a terribly sketchy elevator into the old, stinky, paper thin walled rooms in the Junior hotel.

Extremely tasty and hearty breakfasts with a large selection of food. Very friendly and caring staff. Especially want to mention Peter and Maria for their hospitality. Excellent daily cleaning. Having a terrace with a pool and jacuzzi is a big plus I liked everything.

The staff was beyond helpful when we experienced issues with the AC. We had to change room two times and they did everything they could to accomodate us. The bikes you can rent at the hotel is easy to book, cheap and a really nice service. The AC didn't work.

The staff were friendly, with quick check in and check out. The bed linen and shower were cleaned well. It was quiet at night. The reception and entrance is shared with a sister hotel which is fine in theory but then access to the rooms is like a maze, taking 2 lifts and walking through under construction corridors. It felt strange. The room was like a janitor closet with a bed, no interior decoration or modern facilities such as coffee machines or working fridge or even a new blow dryer. I’m not sure if the tv, mounted on a piece of plain plywood worked! The price of the room was inflated due to the local festival and it really felt like a rip off. There was a pool advertised, it was either closed or non existent. There seemed to be no additional frills in the hotel. It was extremely basic, somewhere to sleep.
