Free Hostels Barcelona

Great location and very convenient for exploring Barcelona. For me, it was especially good for visiting Camp Nou, only around a 25-minute walk away. Major attractions like Sagrada Família and the main streets/shopping areas were also within walking distance. The hostel was clean and had nice common areas to relax, plus a shared kitchen available for guests. One more positive point was the storage space under the beds. Each guest had a large locker-style compartment that could be locked and was big enough even for large checked luggage, not only cabin-size bags. You just need to bring your own lock or buy one from the reception. I understand that hostels usually have limited space and I already had experience staying in hostels, but the 4-bed room felt extremely small and cramped compared to other places I’ve stayed. The room, bathroom, and even the hallways were very narrow, which made the overall atmosphere feel a bit closed and compact. The Wi-Fi was also not very reliable for work-related use. It may be enough for basic browsing, but the speed was not suitable for my needs. Communication with the hostel was sometimes confusing as I received unclear messages in Spanish and had difficulty getting responses through Booking messages. In the end, I had to call directly to clarify the payment and check-in situation. It felt like there were some language or communication issues. A small trash bin inside each room would also be useful instead of only having shared ones in the hallway. Adding a mirror inside the room, not only in the bathroom, would also make it more convenient for guests.

Location was excellent, staff was very helpful The kitchen is too small and not very clean.

I had a great stay. The hostel was very quiet, the temperature was perfect, and everything was spotless. I couldn’t hear my roommates at all. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The location was excellent, and at only 31 euros, it was amazing value for money! Thanks Dimitri and Carlos ?, ah! And the 2 ladies at night that help me to charge my phone too.

The room was clean and cozy. Also, the bed was very comfortable. The staff were nice and helpful. I can stay here again! It was a little far from Sagrada Família and Plaça de Catalunya.

The private room is very quiet and the staff makes sure that guests respect the quiet hours. The area is really nice with lots of restaurants and cafes! The bathroom was cleaned daily.

The bathroom sadly was flooded every time i entered.

Very comfortable, especially room with beds with locker so you can have your absolutely private cozy space. Probably the best hostel in Barcelona, where you can get everything that solo traveler needs, kind and helpful receptionists.

Staffs are rude and not friendly. Have no AC in the room on summer time.

Cleanliness of the rooms and common spaces! A tiny bit far from the center but public transport is easy and walking is very doable. No complaints here!
