A lovely boutique hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast in the courtyard was amazing, both the food and the service were very good. The reception staff and concierge were very friendly and helpful arranging taxis, directions and booking sightseeing venues. The bedroom was well appointed and the bed was really very comfy. Despite its central location the hotel was very quiet. We loved the rooftop terrace where you can cool down in the pool and there's a bar and snack service. There is also a gr8 view over the city of Barcelona. All round a wonderful hotel, we will definitely visit again next time we're in Barcelona. My only criticism would be personally I prefer a separate bathroom, but the facilities are still very good

Clean very nice building It’s in a small alleyway in a very unsafe area and the taxis don’t go in so I had to walk with my luggage when I arrived in yhr small ally ways not the best experience in an unsafe area to be honest I dno how a 5 stars hotel is in a location like this to be honest

Excellent hotel which comes at quite an expense, but is a real treat for a "splurge". Great location for walking to significant sites, spoilt for choice with tapas bars/restaurants (small ones the best), and staff extremely helpful for anything you need. Special call out to Carla in Concierge who was a delight. Realistically the hotel is a 10, but the high cost brings it down a point. If we had to be picky, wardrobe space not huge (meant living out of a suitcase), including not able to hang long dresses. Clearly, this did not detract from the stay.

Rooms are specious, beds are comfortable. Very quiet. Very helpful and friendly staff, going extra mile. 1. Pool was under maintenance and it was no information in advance. The hotel should have offered some 'making up' gesture e.g., free breakfast, bottle of wine to the room etc. 2. Although breakfast was great, it could increase selection of healthy options like seeds, chia, avocado, etc.

Loved the area-gothic quarter- super clean and cool interior design/architecture Nothing really except maybe the pillows being to thin

Overall perfect Service on the roofterras, pool without water

Location was good. Sadly, the swimming pool, the main reason for booking, was not available, it would have been great to be made aware re maintenance during that time period. Also telephone to reception did not work in my room unfortunately, meaning having to go up and down persistently. The people generally were nice and helpful, just with the price and 5 star aspect rating, the overall an experience was likely a 3.5 to a 4

We stayed in a junior suite and it was very roomy. The old building is beautiful and charming The the room was very dark and the lights need some redesign. We could not open the shade over our french balcony ( we asked for assistance) so the room was always very dark. We waited almost 2 hours for the food at the Bristo but the food was good.

Perfect location, quiet hotel with attentive staff. Room service was quick, and just what we needed. 10/10, will return.
