Breakfast was fantastic and so was the location. For two people with large suitcases, the room was small with only one luggage rack. I also thought the price was high for such a small room.

The location of this hotel is central, and bang in the middle to the beach, all the wonderful lanes with endless shops! I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade, higher floor with a terrace. The shower was great! The staff were so extremely helpful, and went out of their way to ensure you had all you needed. I would 100% stay here again when I come back to Barcelona! Tbh there was not much I did not like :) If I had to pick something, if I was travelling with someone the room might have felt small. However, having a terrace would have solved that. At first I thought the bed was a bit hard but I slept so well, bed wasn't an issue!

The location is great. The staff wonderful, breakfast was excellent. Loved it. Will definitely return. The food I ordered from Room service was excellent as well. Highly recomended the Barcelona Hotel Colonial.
