First and foremost it was the staff who left the best impression. All were welcoming, warm and very helpful. From front desk to the breakfast dining room staff. One who is most solicitous is Medita who consistently provides top notch service. We thank all for a memorable stay. Only one thing which really isn’t within their control, that is having to walk several blocks to use “uber services.” Only taxis are allowed to drive up to the front door of the property.

The hotel is right in the heart of the Old Town area of town with lots of things for a tourist like us to see. Hotel rooms are just very expensive in Barcelona right now! The hotel was very nice, the room's pretty small, just seemed like a lot of money but again the prices were not out of line compared to going rates.

Location was great. Walkable to markets, Born district and waterfront. That the area around hotel was under construction and had to maneuver around construction sites.

Staff was friendly and knowledgeable of local activities, very convenient location. Room was clean, well stocked and even had a ceiling fan! Check in procedure seemed a bit antiquated. It was minor but the manual filling out of a form was redundant since all the same info was on booking dot com

They overbooked and sent me to another hotel. The other hotel was AMAZING. I believe it belongs to the same company.

Convenient to Los Ramblas area. Temperature control was lacking. The room was way too hot and it was difficult to cool it down.

Great location. Staff let us check in early. Our room did not resemble pictures. It was tiny without a window and room was super hot. Windows totally different than pictured in ad. Expected a window in the room. No seating just a bed and nightstand

The location was ideal for exploring the Vatican although it was so close that the police blocked the street when the pope addressed the crowd. We could hear the pope from the lovely terrace and enjoy the lights and statues of the Vatican dome. If you like chain hotels, this is not for you. The entire breakfast was homemade and delicious. The room was so small that there was no room to exercise. Our luggage took up most of the available space. C
