Had our room upgraded on arrival which was a lovely suprise Rooftop bar wasn’t operating and the whole area just looked deserted -and the pool area a bit of a mess - which was a real shame. But lots of local bars and restaurants on Rambla de Catalunya so not a big issue.

Location was great Room size was alright Luggage staff was very helpful The lighting of the room was terrible as there was no lights on the wall just basic lamps on the side that you couldn’t see anything in your room at night which made it impossible. Cloudy days were also a nightmare . We had a family room as well and one of the kids rooms had a makeshift window was faced the shaft wall hence no sunlight into the room day ir night. It was terrible. Breakfast was very basic and not representative of the expensive price for the hotel. We celebrated a bday and I asked the staff just for a candle at breakfast and was told the entire hotel had run out ! They only give you one bottle of water at check in and don’t refill that water again in your room so be aware.

Clean, good room and location was walkable to the Old Quarter (30 ish mins) and Park Güell (40 mins). Close to a Metro stop too. The cups in the room were espresso cups, so not good for a cup of tea! Otherwise it was great.

It is an old hotel with less maintenance. Very pricey for what it has offered Cleaning, Noise isolation from inside towards the corridor is almost non existing

I loved the location and the decor very nicely decorated and impressive as you enter. The staff was very helpful and assisted me with calling a taxi when needed. I loved the size of the room and the closet. I was able to unpack my things as I was staying a while. I loved that they have robes and slippers as well. This was a solo birthday trip and I felt safe and comfortable my entire stay. Highly recommend! Nothing
