Hotel Paseo de Gracia
About Hotel Paseo de Gracia
This hotel is housed in a vintage, 19th-century building on central Barcelona’s Passeig de Gracia. It lies at the heart of the city’s Modernist Route architecture trail. The Hotel Paseo de Gracia is surrounded by chic boutiques and stunning architecture on one of the city’s main boulevards. On the same street, just a short walk away, you will find 2 of Gaudí’s most important Modernist works, La Pedrera and Casa Batlló. Several metro lines run nearby, giving you excellent access to any of Barcelona’s many sights. The hotel’s simple, functional guest rooms all come with a TV. Some boast balconies overlooking Passeig de Gracia. There are vending machines for drinks and snacks.

Everything. Central location, clean room, nice people. Nothing

after 23.00 the doors are getting closed there is no reception at night they gave a password for the door to get in and out at atfer hours, but it made us feel uncomfortable, not really safe

It was very central to everything. Had a close stop to the hop on hop off bus. Right next to the metro line, had expensive stores next to the hotel so I felt very safe. Can’t think of something I didn’t like

Very kind stuff, perfect location, clean, good size room. Nothing

Sweet and cosy place on the main street, surrounded by shops, just a few metres from Casa Pedrera and Casa Batlló.

I had an early morning flight the next day to catch to Mallorca. The front desk happily arranged for a taxi to pick me up. Since the desk is not manned 24/7 it was explained to me that I would be picked up at the hotel next door where the desk is manned. The next morning just as I walked out the door of my hotel onto the dark sidewalk my taxi was already there waiting with trunk open for my luggage and the front desk staff next door greeted me on the sidewalk and made sure my departure went smoothly. I felt so safe and highly taken care of which meant a lot as a solo female international traveler.

It was a great and clean hotel, on a exceptional location in Barcelona. Staff were friendly and accomodating, it was a great stay. I plan on coming back during future trips. Subway was practically in front of the door.

Poor soundproofing. You can hear people showering and talking in other rooms

The location is perfect for us as first time visitors to Barcelona. Easily walkable to some of the main attractions, right next to the metro entrance (which was handy because of the rain), and only 1 minute away from the bus station (to Parc Güell). Staff was friendly and the check in process for us international travers were smooth and painless. We’d come back to this hotel for our next visit.

The room was fairly clean, but the bathroom could have had more attention paid to it. There was some mildew and an odor.
