    I like the woman at the desk and the shuttle driver. I arrived early and wanted to check in to get to work. I was told I had to pay $30.00 to do that. I waited in the lobby for over an hour and then given the key to my room. I was given a horrible room right across the hall from house keeping. It was so loud there all day with staff running back and forth, people talking, carts wheeled back and forth, impossible to get any work done. I went to the bar to order dinner from the restaurant which did not seat people. It took forever to get the meal. In the morning I went to get a coffee with milk to go and I was told that they didn’t have that.

    The bed felt bigger than a king which was great. Room was easy to find and the view was good. The room was also very clean and comfortable. I had a thing about the toilet being placed at an angle in the restroom. It threw us off a little as it was not parallel to the tub. also, the lobby was warm and humid alot of the time so it was uncomfortable to hang out in while waiting for the rest of our party to come downstairs.

    The room was a very good size and the beds were very comfortable. Large restroom that was also very nice everything was very clean. I just didn't realize that the breakfast was a restaurant instead of continental, but it was fine I adjusted my plans.

    Downside is that the common area floors are really dirty - especially the hall carpeting outside our room. The A/C unit does not work properly with the room being very humid and either too cold or warm. Our towel never dried during our stay. Last, the toilet flush was broken, so we had to lift the tank top and left it open to make it flush properly. Also sorry to add that we were greeted with 'Got your id?' when we arrived, which felt less than welcoming. We love working with Expedia where the ratings are usually spot on, but this property should be a '7' not an '8'. It was not terrible, but it was challenging to stay here.

    Definitely an older hotel, the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was adequate. The price was good. Overly scented and carpet stained in hallways. Beds were firm. Room had vinyl flooring which was a first for me. Elevator was warm. Amenities were acceptable.

    Hotel was not as described and was extremely disappointed. The room could have been cleaned better. Rooms are extremely outdated, bed was uncomfortable, shower & sink not didn’t drain, one of the nightstand drawers were broken. Staff didn’t offer any assistance with these things and upon checking out they didn’t even ask how our stay was…. Avoid at all costs. I’d like my money but but seems impossible

    Not a bad hotel just for the night, but any longer than that you'd be better off staying somewhere else. Free parking, but somewhat sketchy clientele and dated room and hallway interiors that sorely need a refresh. Bathroom was not great and smelled musty. Overall, it matched my expectations for a franchise hotel owned by an indian.

    I truly loved how much this hotel had to offer. It had a lot of meeting rooms, large entrance lay out, restaurants inside the hotel. It had a very welcoming feeling. I loved the scent in the room. My biggest appreciation was the young lady, Nisha who took such great care of us. We arrived early...too early to check in. There wasn't any double bed rooms available but, allowed us to sit inside & wait for our award ceremony we were attending in Austin. As soon as a room became available, she informed us quickly. We were able to get ready in our own room in comfort before our ceremony. Thank you Nisha so much for taking care of us!!!

    The toilet barely flushed . The shower and sinks were backing up. Tried to call the front desk for towels and the phone didn’t work . Walked downstairs and asked for towels , the woman said she would send some up when they were dry , the never did . Would not recommend staying here if you want something nice and clean . They do have a bar , which can help mask how gross the hotel is .

    The hotel was alright. The staff was ok. Just attention to detail is a key. The cleaning staff forgot to put wash clothes in the room. I asked the front desk staff to help with issue but I never got the wash clothe. No one called to verify the issue too. If I had to go back to Austin, I would most likely stay some where else.

    Best pet friendly place in Austin. $75 for entire stay, we have 4 dogs, most places limit or charge extra daily. Staff were fantastic present and helpful. Facility was quiet with in house bar and patio.

    The room we stayed in had a powerfully strong odor in the bathroom that permeated into the bedroom. Don’t know if it was the disinfectant or a perfume, but it was awful. We were so tired from traveling that we just dealt with it. We turned on the exhaust fan in the bathroom and shut the door. The next morning I noticed the smell in the front lobby as well. The hotel room was roomy and clean, just the smell was overwhelming.

    If you only want to sleep in a bed, this place is ok. However, if you want any kind of amenity at all, like a working toilet, I'd advise to go somewhere else. The toilets hardly flush, we had to ask for more toilet paper upon checking in because we started out with half a roll. Ice maker on the floor was broken. The TV signal evidently is having trouble because we could hardly watch the it due to it constantly lagging and cutting out. You can just tell this place is run as cheaply as possible. It was a cheap rate, and now I know why.

    The only redeeming thing I can say is that breakfast was very good and also when I told the girl at the front desk about the wooden blocks next to the bed and how dangerous they were, she apologized and had me fill out an incident report for an injury. I sincerely hope this property takes my complaint seriously and does something about that issue as it is dangerous, especially to someone elderly OR someone who’s not steady on their feet. For reference, I’m 38 and my foot hit that block and I almost lost my balance when I fell forward. That is a serious accident waiting to happen!! Please see attached photos of the blocks by the bed.

    Property usually has a woman named Kimberly working and she is awesome The lady Claudette working during my stay was very rude. Not only did she give me attitude but she also talked to another customer insulting me. She was very unprofessional. And both times I checked in I had to wait 10 minutes because she wasn’t at the desk.

    One of the reviews on google mentioned the bottom sheet is being put on sideways, I also found this to be true, after two nights the bedding was such a mess I had to pull all the covers off and make the bed properly myself. Around the halfway part of my stay, I asked for my room to be cleaned. The result was honestly a little odd. Cups & coffee station were refreshed, but not tp, tissues, or soap. I received a fresh hand towel & washcloth, but not large towels. The beds were made but with the same sheets as i already had (I could tell because they were mismatched & had sharpie stains all over them). For some reason, they were again made with the bottom sheet sideways (??!!). Virtually all the fitness center equipment was broken or questionably functional & the jets in the hot tub did not work. The wall unit thermostat was not accurate. I appreciated the free coffee in the lobby every morning, but the rest of the items for purchase seemed frequently out of stock. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Staff was nice. Probably wouldn’t stay again, but would be a good choice for someone who wants to be close to DT without paying a lot.

    First room AC not working. We had to repack and move to another room. It was right above the bar and pool area. The music didn't go off until after 11:00 even though no one at the pool which was unheated. Hot tub was out of order also. Overall a disappointment.

    I paid for a casita suite which I thought would’ve been better than a regular room. It was average not very clean. The water in the shower took forever to warm up. Our sink broke and the water would not stop running. We had to get then to just turn the water off to that sink. Luckily there was another.

    The bed was hard, lumpy and creaked loudly with every move. I was wakingup every two hours. At 530 am i talked to the front desk about the beds. The woman said all the beds are the same. I asked about canceling thenext two nights. She said come back after 7am when rhe manager is in. Management wasnt in at 7 and the new woman there Sharron maybe said ahe couldnt cancel. But she pretended she did. I found out because i called expedia immediately after. Expedia canceled for me. The reviews for your hotel must be fake because it was not nearly as nice a place as reviewers said. I ended up in the aiden hotel the other two nights. So much nicer. Had many bad Wyndom hotels in the past years. The quality has gone way down, im not going to choose you anymore.

    Due to a delayed flight, when I arrived at the hotel, the doors were locked and thank goodness someone was at the front desk to let me in, but there was no notice about this prior to arrival. Once I got to my room, the furniture was peeling and when I went to get in bed, the sheets felt like laying on sandpaper. This could be due to my sensitive skin, but it was unbearable to the point I had to cut my stay there short and move to another hotel. The staff was understandable with me leaving, but they also had a lot of issues giving me the correct amount back to my card.

    The staff are great, very friendly and try to do the best they can. The room was as expected, clean, comfortable and inviting. However the amenities offered did not impress.     They keep it very clean. Good coffee. Difficult to get to from the interstate due to traffic congestion. The property is quite old and in need of refurbishing. My thermostat completely failed my first night there and had to be replaced.

    The pool area was really nice and there was ample parking the bar and it’s tender were very nice good drinks and just as expensive as the rest of Austin 15 for off menu drinks 5 for a beer and 13 for specialty The whole area smelled of cat pee and poop… I didn’t see one cat The hotel staff was very rude about the fact that the breakfast was not complimentary The bathroom smelled so terrible of mildew every time we took a shower and after for a while too Thankfully I bring Lysol with us wherever we go Laundry facilities worked but half were broken

    the room was very clean and comfortable. For me, the best part was that the room stayed cool at the temperature I set it at throughout the night. I loved that they provided soft pillows and also a set of firmer pillows. The staff was very attentive and very kind. The only suggestion I would make would be to place the shampoo, creme rinse and body wash in dispensers in the shower; the small bottles that were provided were too hard to squeeze out the product.

    2. The toilet is so oddly placed (at an angle, under a countertop) that we had to search to find where the handle is, and to use it, we had to nearly stick our heads in the toilet. 3. The AC/heating unit was so noisy with a high-pitched whine that it woke us both up on and off during the night. It was like sleeping next to a jet engine turbine.

    The check-in process was easy. The person I spoke to on the phone to book my room was rather rude, and the information they gave me wasn’t consistent with the website information. Everyone at the hotel was kind and helpful. The room was a good size, and the bed was comfortable. The linens were stained, and there wasn’t any soap in the room. Breakfast came quick, and the food was good. Got a quesadilla the night before and it came without any types of salsa or anything. The fitness center was decent. Overall it was a good stay, and the issues that came up were minor.

    The 4th floor smelled like sour trash and musty carpet. The 3rd floor, which I had to go to because the ice machine on 4 was broken, had a different type of unpleasant odor. The hotel can’t seem to decide on a theme and probably should have just not tried. There’s a jungle theme, and musician theme. And sort of a rustic vibe all blended terribly together. The elevator that actually opened consistently had a door that was obviously struggling. Breakfast was not included. Again hotels at half the price are at least doing that. A single tea bag was provided in the room for a tea drinker but no way to actually make hot water, you had to microwave the water in the lobby which is just not how tea is supposed to work. Bought tea at the resturaunt, they only had decaffeinated and I had to take the bags out and make it myself, and they didn’t even have honey. As my throat was killing me, this was incredibly frustrating. Every time I tried to get off the elevator to the lobby an employee almost ran me down trying to get on. Overall it was mostly clean but felt like the place wasn’t clean or warm. One of the hotels I was in last week was literally under construction on every floor, with an elevator button hot glued back on and insulation in the halls, with hot water out for a day, and I would stay there again over this place for comfort & experience

    We had a confirmed reservation. We arrived at the hotel at 11:30 p.m., and their response was, "I have bad news. We don't have a room for you because the hotel is overbooked." At that time, we'd have to search for a hotel all over the city. A serious hotel would at least find you accommodation elsewhere. That's the service and quality they offer.

    We did have one issue with the shower. The shower was clogged and the tub would fill up with water. By the time I was done with my shower, the water was past my ankles. Really can't say much about the staff. The only interaction we had with them was while checking in.The room wasn't anything to brag about. We had an event that evening and we wanted to take a quick nap before, but it was very difficult because there was a dog somewhere down the hall that was barking up a storm.

    Free parking.Check in was nice and simple. They probably didn’t have a non smoker room available like I asked for but it was okay. The room was standard clean. The pool and hot tub looked clean from the room, we didn’t get to enjoy it because we checked in late. The only issue was the tub drained very slow so the water was on your feet as you showered and the ac was not staying on and cooling like it should making it hot/muggy when it was off or set to 70. But for a one night stay for $90 it works out.

    Room was clean enough. Older hotel. Felt like I needed to wear house slippers. Was fine for a quick overnight stay for a flight but wouldn’t have wanted to spend more time there.

    Affordable but pretty outdated. Definitely needs a remodel. The entire 5th floor has a strange odor to it. Like how an old damp towel smells. The staff was nice. If you need a cheaper place to stay for a few nights and aren't super picky, this'll do for sure.

    I have stayed here over the years off and on. This was the most enjoyable stay yet. Windham is firing on all cylinders at this location! The only issue I had was the poor pours at the in-house saloon! Can't blame Wyndham cuz I believe this is a non-affiliated business. They do not accept room card for payment.

    It’s obvious what kind of people the hotel caters to. Slot machine downstairs stained carpet in the hallway and it smells bad. People loitering in the lobby. Checked in and checked out did not spend the night.

    I recently stayed at the Wyndham Garden Hotel and was very impressed with my experience.     Patio facing the pool was the best experience for me and my kiddos! I could sit right in the comfort of the room if i wanted to with the sliding door open and watch them enjoy some pool time! Definitely recommend!

    My experience was good. We arrived and were given room 241. It smelled old and I asked to change rooms. Thanks to the lady at reception, she gave us another one on the fifth floor. From there, everything was fine. The room was clean, the pool was great, the bar was open, and the access to downtown was cheap. Uber rides were great. We will definitely return.

    Second time staying here. First time I rented a room with 1 queen bed but somehow it was overbooked so I got a upgrade to a Casita, same price for the original room. Was surprised and greatful. Casita was super close to the pool. This second time was on 1st floor close to the pool again. I love it here. Will continue to stay here!

    Cons: Ice from the second floor ice machine tasted and smelled like mold. I highly recommend a thorough cleaning in the very near future. The "Revive" restaurant was nice, but way overpriced for what you get. Online and even the sign behind the counter mention "Build your own breakfast taco," but the young lady working there--there was only one person working there--did not seem to know what I was talking about, even when she was standing right under the sign advertising the tacos. I would recommend much more bang for the buck here. $10 for a stack of pancakes is ridiculous. All told, a good stay.

    I was also disappointed that the restaurant was hardly open (I didn't have a car this trip, so it made it more costly to order meals or get an uber around). The manager that was there my last day was very helpful in storing my bags after checkout, since I had a late flight, and helped me arrange a ride to the airport (they have a shuttle, which I wish I had known sooner).

    This property is desperately in need of some cosmetic upgrades. Every carpet I saw was stained and dirty; walls need to be repainted or resurfaced, and trim work throughout looked banged up. The sink and toilet in the bathroom were oddly low to the ground, and the toilet is angled so it is uncomfortable to use for a tall person. Overall, I'm a bit surprised this has the Wyndham brand on it.

    There’s no fridge or microwave. The hotel is kind of old. Bathroom is kind of small. They should install a shampoo, conditioner and body wash instead of small items. The conditioner was really hard to come out. The tv did it worked with 2 remotes. They should include breakfast.

    We stayed for 8 days. The pool pump was broken. My wife and I specifically chose this location because of the pool. The last day we were there the pool was fixed. However even after cleaning there was algae on pool floor and sides. It was bad enough I wouldn't go in it. I felt like they should have offered us a free night to make up for the lack of pool privilege. The hot tub was also not working. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay. The rest of the property was fine.

The information on Expedia in regards to continental breakfast and other things is not correct and very misleading. The customer service here is abyssmal. Highly discourage anyone from staying here.

    The hotel is convenient for us and feels safe. We have never had any problems with noise here. The shower temperature was somewhat difficult to regulate and the bathtub drained very slowly. The toilet was hard to flush and often required 2 attempts. Beds are good and staff was nice.
