Very dog friendly is a plus. Great location to walk them around safely. I enjoyed the gym, felt safe with the windows. Will return on next visit.

I tried so hard to not leave a bad review because I believe any manager on duty has the power to make things right if they just listen to their customers. After trying to reach a manager several times for over a week and a half after our stay and being told someone would call me back all I wanted to do is be heard but no one ever called. Unfortunately, our visit was not the greatest. We requested a microwave several times on multiple days that we stayed on property but no one ever brought one to our room after being told it wouldn’t be a problem. We found glass on our hotel room floor, they were testing the fire alarms in the early morning, and on top of it all the entire hotel is going through a huge construction project which we were not informed prior to booking. We were told several times that there was no manager on duty to speak to which we found very bizarre. I’ve been a Hilton Honors member for many years and have never seen such a circus poorly ran. I do hope this place figures it out because this hotel has potential under the right direction.

Lack of options, Buffett was not available. room was very small. not enough light in bathroom, also no soap or shampoo. was not informed of renovations. also had a guest knocking on all the doors at 4:00 am because he was locked out of his room and could not get back in

The bathroom sinck had toothpaste on it, brown drips of something below the bath mirror, back of toilet dirty, the room smelled old and mold

Due to overbooking, we were given a much smaller room than we paid for. We needed two beds and were switched to a one bed so they wheeled in a tiny cot that was very uncomfortable and didn’t give us blankets or pillows for it. When we asked for some, they said they didn’t have any. Three times staff came into our room without knocking, once at midnight while we were already sleeping to bring a pillow. The light in the room didn’t work so there was only one dim lamp to see by. The shower didn’t work correctly and the water was cold. And the hallways and room smelled terribly of smoke. There was construction going on on other floors so it was dusty, and I got trapped in the elevator because it stopped working. Overall it was a terribly stay for the price that I paid.

This was my first stay here. While overall the condition was good, there was clear signs of an aging property.

While the cleaning crew was kind and did their best to help, the front desk staff was unhelpful and dismissive. Despite the repeated flooding and uncertainty about the cause, we were never offered a room change or any real solution. Another letdown was the pool. It was advertised as a heated pool, but it was not heated at all, which was really disappointing. Overall, the lack of urgency and customer care from the front desk made an already frustrating situation worse. I wouldn’t stay here again unless significant improvements are made.

The rooms were very dusty due to construction. The bathrooms were also very dirty and old. No where close to $200 a night. Drilling and hammering started at 7 a.m. and was too loud to sleep. I was travelling with family visiting us from outside the country and everyone was very upset.

Staff is super friendly, clean rooms (huge too), has a gym and pool and restaurant.

No microwave No usb ports Beautiful corner patio accessible from the room BUT the door wouldn’t close all the way.

Unfortunately we had a poor visit. I had chosen the hotel for the heated pool since it was advertised as heated. Apparently the pool has not been heated for a few years. When we arrived we were told to excuse the noises and mess due to renovations. Which we understood and went about our night. Unfortunately at 8 am in the morning, the drilling and banging began. The noise was horrible and we were no longer able to sleep in. Perhaps if they would not have put us in the 5th floor which was one floor below the construction it would not have been a problem, but I strongly suggest you do not book here while renovations are happening!

The room was clean, the hotel was very nice and well kept, the only problem we encountered was that from the 5th floor onwards they were doing renovations and at 9 am you could hear hammering, otherwise everything was good... the pool was nice and part of it is indoors, obviously the water is the same as the non-indoor part so it was cold today.

Staff was very polite, helpful, and welcoming. Building itself was on the older side but everything was well maintained and clean. I would stay again in the future!

The pool was clean, but so cold. They advertise an indoor pool; however, the indoor area is underconstruction. The water for the indoor and outdoor pools is the same, and it was unbearable to swim in. The coffee area was closed the entire weekend. It was a decent hotel, and the staff was very friendly, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Before I became in need of accessibility due to my broken leg, I stayed at 200+ hotels in my lifetime. My standards which are quite high remain the same, but my needs add to that. Southpark staff could not have been more welcoming, thorough, professional, and kind, from the moment I was wheeled into the surprisingly beautiful lobby! Heath, the cool circular lobby bar bartender, was exceptional too! The front desk staff, especially Charles, made us truly feel like hotel "GUESTS" vs "customers", that many other hotels' front desk staff, even at 5 Star hotels, make you feel like. CLEAN! My usual high hotel standards for cleanliness and comfort, which I have had to lessen for other hotels' accessible rooms, were more than met! An absolutely amazing woman Ana, escorted us to view the rooms best-suited for me with my limited mobility which was a priority. Ana's treatment, assistance and dedication were profound. All rooms were laid out beautifully, immaculate, so pleasant, and the best drapes for sleep! Comfortable bed and pillows. Fluffy towels! FABULOUS POOL and lovely lounge areas! BEST of all: It was immaculate! Cleanest of any hotel pool anywhere! Also, relaxing, plus long OPEN hours. A pool has always been a life-long requirement when staying at hotels. The indoor/outdoor pool was uniquely designed, beautiful, comfortable and CLEAN. ALL staff were helpful, warm, and so kind, from every department, every minute of my stay. I can't wait to return!

The room smelled of smoke, it seemed overall unclean, the food was not only overpriced, but it was absolutely terrible. I paid over $80 just to take two bites and throw it away.

This hotel is under construction so they wanted all guests to use one elevator instead of all three. The hotel seemed pretty empty and the front desk wasn't always attended. I never found a working ice machine and had to get ice from the front desk people. The room was Ok and seemed clean, but the hot water took so long to come on that I thought it had been disconnected and called to have an engineer come to my room to fix it. The room had no visible electrical outlets to charge a phone or anything else. Outlets were behind the bedside tables or behind the heavy desk, but those were fully occupied anyway. The best part of the room was the very comfortable bed.

Nice lobby. Outdated rooms. Dont expect to watch netflix or be able to sign in to streaming services. We had a cute patio there was only sheets on the bed no blankets and the shower head was broken splashing water everywhere.

The staff was very friendly. I have a lot of tattoos so I get judged many places I go and people can be very rude but I received none of that there and was very friendly welcomed. Loved it. Thank you.

Was told about renovations on the floor above use from 7am-7pm on arrival without the option of switching rooms. Paid $110 for the room and on arrival told them we had a dog, was rudely told the pet deposit is an additional $150 (?!) which is 1.5x the price of the room for our dog? Reception asked if we were aware of this, which we told them we were not, then immediately told us it was non- negotiable and non-refundable so we basically had no choice but to pay it. Ridiculous considering the whole hotel is under construction. Has potential to be a lovely hotel but was overpriced and terrible experience for that we got and we felt scammed!

We’ve stayed here before and knew it was out dated etc. No big deal. We had some repairs being done at our home, so decided to stay here for a night. Staff were very friendly. Get to the room and that’s when it started going downhill. TV didn’t work, you couldn’t watch anything but CNN. No big deal. Then the dried out lavender was noticed after I already started getting hives. Again not the hotel fault, they didn’t know I’m allergic. Got rid of it, and within 2 hours I started getting headaches, stuffed up nose etc…we left for dinner came back and it started again. It wasn’t until 2am that I started really looking. Mold covered the entire bedding. But not the top blanket that I had looked at, but the sheets and what I assume was a mattress pad. My other half ended up leaving to get meds and I packed up. We didn’t sleep. We left after packing. I can excuse everything else, but moldy sheets??? Does housekeeping just not care?

Nothing The hotel is extremely dated, their were black bugs in bed as well as pictures are deceiving. Do not stay here all the rooms also smell like cigarettes (they switched my room twice) i stayed for less than hour and booked another hotel. Hotel needs to updated everything is from the 80's !

The place is just a mess. Both of the rooms that they tried to put us in. We’re not good. The smell of the room was disgusting. Very very musty. The hotel itself is in very poor condition. Thanks for not clean. Along it says heated pool, but there was no heated pool. And the place was like a ghost town. Now we know why.

We have stayed here in the past and it was great. This time we came with our toddler and it didn’t go as well. We needed a crib for her. I called in advance to ask if they had cribs and they said they did. When we got there they said they would bring one up. 30-45 minutes went by and we went down to ask about it they said they would remind them to bring it up. Another 30-45 minutes went by and we called and they said that the crib was broken and all others were in use?! Anyways we had to go to target and spend $100 on a travel crib for her very inconvenience and put a huge damper on our trip.

Horrible! What the hotel and Expedia do not tell you anywhere is that renovation/construction is going on 24/7. The noise is terrible. And they have only one staff member at the front desk so if this person takes a break, you are SOL. Do not book this hotel!

Location wasn't horrible. It's easy to get to and from the freeway and very close to S. Congress and not so far to Austin downtown itself. The lady who check us in the night we arrived was very nice, however the girl who checked us out didn't even ask how our stay was. I assume she knew it was not great. The only real plus side was that the AC worked well. The hotel is completely outdated. It says it is a 4 star hotel, when in reality it is probably more like a 2 star hotel at this point. They are renovating the hotel, but do not indicate this when booking, which means that you have to deal with construction noise from 7am-7pm. The lobby was nice, but as soon as we got off the elevator, you could smell the old cigarette smell from the 80s. The room was no better with the smell or decor. The wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom is not up-to-date and DEFINITELY not okay for handicap people. I was traveling with my elderly father and he could not shower in the two days we were at the hotel, because he was afraid of falling in the shower. When I asked about a handicap room, they told me they didn't have handicap options. I assume this is something they will be doing in their upgrades. The sheets were a bit dirty and the mattresses need updating. Additionally, there are stains on the furniture, the curtains didn't work well, and no upgraded plugs for electronics like you see in all hotels these days. I know they are working on this, but it would have been nice to know this PRIOR to booking the hotel. They really shouldn't be booking the hotel if they are doing this upgrade at the same time. As a Hilton affiliate, they can afford to close for a month or however long it takes to make guests feel comfortable. We did not eat at the hotel, so I have no idea whether the food or coffee was any good.

There could be a little more done to update the bathroom and fixtures, as well asclean up the ceiling in the room area as it looks, as if some of the ceiling was a little bit old and weathered but all in all it was a nice and safe place to stay.

The area outside is sketchy with quite a few homeless under the bridges. Breakfast was too expensive for what you got (not free) but everything else about the property was spot on. Great pool and outside seating area and a real nice lounge/bar in the middle of the lobby. Was there for a wedding and it was perfect for our needs.

Heath the bartendar made our night cap so enjoyable. He was a perfection for our drink orders.

This was a nice event oriented hotel - in the past. Today it is a bit run down. They actually have plans on display in the lobby for the planned renovations! However, it is priced appropriately. All the ice machines were turned off so you had to get ice at the front desk. The restaurant was deserted. The location is convenient to highways but nothing is in walking distance. Beds and pillows were comfy. Bathrooms a little rundown. Staff and bartenders were excellent. Odd that the restaurant was never open for dinner but full menu was still served at the bar. Property around the area was a little sketchy.

Room was beat up. Check in was at 3. Room wasn't ready till 415. No comforters on beds. The pull out bed was gross. no sheets blankets or pillows for the 3rd person. If u do not rent a car u will need ride shares to go absolutely everywhere unless u want to cross the highway to get to places.

At arrival, the hotel received the wrong information about the requested room. After some initial pushback, the wonderful staff at the front desk was able to get us into the right room where we found a nice room. However, because of the bad first impression where they attempted to give us a room that was undergoing some maintenance, I can’t give it the best rating possible.

It needs some TLC though. All electrical outlets in the room were loose. Poor water pressure in the showers. No modern power outlets. The restaurant has scaled back its options, and is very basic. Ice machines broken except for the 2nd floor. Perhaps future renovations will address these things.

The air conditioning in our room was malfunctioning. The front desk immediately sent in the handyman three separate times they were very quick to try to fix it even though it took three times to get it working correctly over the span of 2 days. They had a box fan for our use which we appreciated.

Had a hiccup upon arrival with my room, but she accommodated me for the misunderstanding. However, The toilet was extremely low to the floor. There wasn’t proper parking and no microwave in the room. Other than that it was a lovely hotel very welcoming and friendly.

Son and i flew into Austin for an event at Circuit of the Americas. Hotel staff were kind and helpful throughout our stay, Heath in the bar/restaurant area was great every day after the track. Would have been nice to have a laundry area but wasnt a deal breaker

I like manager and front desk shaft. I didn’t like cleanness of parking lot and initial facilities of hotel like hot water problem I faced three days out of four nights staying

The area is mediocre so depends on why youre staying there but the hotel was great.

Found a roach in my room. It was climbing up the curtain. This was reported to front desk and was told house keeping would be informed but nothing was done. Reported it a second time and nothing was done. Will not be staying here again.

Loved the pool and bar area.

First room we were in the AC didn’t work. We had to wait for maintenance to check it before they switch us rooms. The walls looked dingy and the carpet could use a vaccumm. We’d arrived in a Friday and the pool was closed for cleaning who cleans a pool on Friday???? Then we tried to go to the pool Saturday night it was closed again yet there were people outside and we were not allowed to go out.

It is definitely a good place to stay nice and cozy with dope amenities and a good size the staff were nice.

The property needs to be renovated.

A right spot was the breakfast. Good food and good service. Just not the facility it was for so long. New managment needs to invest a lot to increase business.

The hotel need to be renovated for the price they are charging per night. It is also unsafe cars were broken intoand there is alot of homeless just wondering around the parking lot and walking innand out the hotel.

Everything was good, the only thing we needed a shower chair because my husband has a prosthetic leg, they provide me with one, but it wasn't in good condition.

Bad smell in room #1107. They did change the Air filter and it does help in some way.

Literally felt like I was at a single star motel 6. This was by far the worst place I have stayed in years.

I liked that they politely gave me a refund when I brought it to their attention that they had charged me twice.

I spent most of the first night in the lobby or outside the front doors of the property. I woke at 1:30 am feeling funny. I got up from the bed and was very dizzy. I have never suffered dizziness. I am healthy and active. This was a huge concern. I could smell fumes of some sort. I dressed and went out the front door of my room and the fumes were worse. I left the 10 floor and went to the front desk to advise the hotel staff of the issue. I sat in the lobby and then moved outdoor to get fresh air. I went back into the property and back to my room. Coming from fresh air to the polluted air in the hall and room was dramatic. I went back to the front desk and asked the attendant to go to my room and confirm what I was experiencing. He noted that it wasn't right and offered another room. I found out in that process that the hotel was in the process of spray painting the property. After the move, I had no additional health issues. They were painting at the other end of the property. One of the managers offered me 30% off breakfast and drinks.....which I was unable to use. 1. I left the property early in the morning 2. I don't drink I feel that the property should have refunded that first night. I was stressed and exposed to whatever toxins were in the paint. I was very tired working the show floor the next day.

we arrived at 10 pm after 3 flight cancellations, the Bar manager was amazing, kitchen was closing, no problem a burger and a few drinks organized without any problems.

Was there for family time with my kids. Was unable to use the Pool it was dirty and nasty looking. And my kids love to use the pool. TV did not work…overall disappointed

I originally booked this property because the pool and workout area looked nice. I was traveling with my 2 teenagers. Upon arrival the hotel was under construction. The pool was closed and so was the workout facility. The hotel apologized and said I could recieve 20% rebate related to my stay. Nothing was applied to my credit card. I tried calling the hotel but always got the run around.

Pool not open, and when it reopened it was dirty. No free breakfast list listed on the web. Coffe machine dirty inside.

The room was spacious. At the time we stayed the pool was being worked on and we didn’t get to use it. They should have advertised that. Luckily they compensated with 2 free drinks.

Fast check in, pet friendly & the French toast breakfast at their restaurant is one of THE BEST I have ever had! Their cafe is authentic & the fruit parfait is a large size with lots of fresh fruits & fresh granola.

Needs upgrade. Beautiful space and once they remodel, will be amazing.

We had our truck broken into and a lot of homeless community around the hotel. Hotel needs an upgrade. We still love to stay here because it's a quiet hotel away from downtown.

I was terribly sad that the pool was under maintenance the whole weekend. They have a real nice small bar set up and food menu that is great. Also, a store for snacks and breakfast choices in the AM.

The property seemed like its hayday has come and gone. The shower was cold and the atmosphere was very quiet/lonesome. Seems it might have been a busier hotel in previous years.

driving about .5 miles before and everywhere around this hotel is crack/meth head central. They were all over the parking lot and and around the entire building. place had a security guard patrolling around the hotel ( never seen that in all of the over 2 thousand hotels I've stayed at) dirty people asking for money and lighters and drugs as soon as you get out of your car in the parking lot. Also worse part was the Restaurant and Pool were Completely Closed bc of some scaffolding issues. if you wanted to swim with the same Property you had to go to their airport location which probably would have have been way better. horrible view from my 8th floor balcony. it was so loud on it you couldn't even talk on the phone, plus my toilet plugged up after one flush. Charged me 37$ for 3 bottles of Aquafina and 1 small bag of popcorn from the vending area...... I wish I would have known the pool was closed because I would not have booked a 100$ a night room if I knew that. Location Sucks. Staff was Awesome and very friendly and helpful.

Our room smelled like smoke, I'm unsure if the hotel allows smoking but our room smelt of it throughout our entire stay.

Upon check in I learned the pool was closed, the whole reason I chose to stay here. The lady at the front desk was so kind I decided I’d just stay. I UberEats back and forth to a friend’s hotel to use their pool only to arrive back and find that the pool opened up after dark. Letting guests know before hand there is no pool until dark would have been nice to know.

I am disappointed in the decline of the property.

Rooms for clean, soft bed, and a decent size. Its outdated furniture, but it was comfy. No complaints. Staff was great and helpful to print out a document. Its also in a good location to hop on the highway. About 15 min. From 6th st. If thats your thing.

The hotel and room was nice. The room was quiet and clean and the bed was comfortable. I stayed two nights and the first day the water in the shower was pretty bad. It had very little water pressure and heat. The next morning I woke up and had zero water int he shower!! Not even low pressure, just no water! It was a bit of a drag because I didn't have a lot of time to deal with this.

Clean, smelled clean, comfortable. We had a balcony which was nice. We slept well, the bed was comfortable and even though it was by highway it wasnt noisy. Great stay, will definitely book again!

We were on a girls weekend. The lobby bar was quiet and they encouraged us to play our domino game at two of the tables. We had a grand time. Everyone kept coming over to see who was winning and what the score was. We had a really good time and will stay again. Austin Police Department was having a gathering there as well so we felt well protected - not that made a real difference.

This was our third time staying here and it was equally as perfect as the last couple times. Front desk was great, bar tender in the lobby made great drinks and gave us great info on where to go out for our Anniversary trip in Austin. The room was clean and comfortable. The room we had was facing the highway so it was a bit noisy! We might just get a room closer to the parking lot next time. Overall great experience!

Had problems with the card key. Did not open the door when we arrived. We had to call the front desk, and they said we had to return to the front desk. Since we had just received the key card, we requested that someone come and open the door. Someone came to open the door and gave us a new key card. The next day we again had trouble with the key card.
