    This is a good hotel for like a one to two night stay. The Staff was very friendly! The rooms (specifically the beds) were made up nice but the Bathroom could’ve used a little love. The floors were clean but the smell was sorta unpleasant. Overall 7/10 stay.

    Good staff The place needs renovation, mold on the shower and place very dirty. I told them to clean the rug because it was filled with crumbs. Underneath the beds were filthy and had a lot of trash.

    The amenities were almost negligible. NO soap. Limited coffee and tea. NO FOOD ANYWHERE AROUND or IN THE PROPERTY. It was the most inconvenience I've ever experienced at a hotel in a major, or any, city. NOTHING within walking distance. Just car dealerships. The pool was fine. After the rain it wasn't dirty. Air conditioning worked well. It wasn't ALL a negative, but it wasn't welcoming and convenient for a week's stay. As they say, "You get what you pay for." If you need a place for the night, with no business in the area, this place might be okay. Cheap! But you might as well stay in a homeless camp where they could actually have amenities.

    Rented 3 rooms for 1 night at great rate. but next morning needed to extend stay additional night due to 1 person in group became ill before arrival. Manager quickly confirmed, but was unable to offer original rate for 2nd night. Rooms were comfortable but could use minor touchup cleaning. AC in one room was marginal on cooling and toilet in a 2nd room did not flush well. Swimming pool was nice, but needed leaf net and slight vacuum by 2nd night. Would likely stay again in the future.

    We stayed in one of the 1st floor rooms and it was a nice quiet room. The staff was extra friendly and so helpful. The hairdryer in the room that we stayed in didn't work so I asked the front desk if that had one that I could use. They did not have one available but I asked to use the dryer in the room next to us and she allowed me to use the hairdryer since noone had checked in. I was so thankful and to me that's great customer service. I would definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

    I booked the hotel because of the pool and the rate. and I could have chosen a different hotel in Austin 5 min away from downtown for the same price but chose this one because my son wanted to use the pool. I made sure to call and confirm the pool was open before booking. when we got there the pool was DIRTY lots of leaves, the floor had sediment the type that is slippery. DISGUSTING. I want a partial refund. we drove to the hotel to use the pool but the. because of this we had to change plans and go to the Burton springs late at night. it messed up our one night stay in Austin.

    The parking was very secure and easy to navigate, especially after a long road trip. We got to room 233 after check in and found hair on the bathroom wall like they didn’t clean that day. The sheets had stains like they were from a woman’s leftover mascara so I went to desk and asked to switch rooms but was denied because I booked through a third party which is whatever so after returning a 2nd time for a room switch because the sheets had dried blood specks, I finally got the new, actually cleaned room. The pool looks inviting but the water is very foggy but still blue so that was alarming enough to not swim.

    Not very much I have never stayed in a room so filthy. My feet turned black walking barefoot in my room. I spilled some water and wiped it with a washcloth. One swipe and where it touched the floor was disgusting. I ran water in the tub to rinse off and there were black floating bits in the tub along with a ring. I went down to speak to the manager and he sent housekeeping up to look. They offered me a "premium room because they are cleaned better". The manager told me they had problems with their cleaning staff. He needs to understand if he can't hire or retain a competent crew, HE is the problem.

    No complaints about the hotel itself. The first night I was awakened by what sounded like equipment noise presumably coming from I-35 construction - I could hear beeping of construction equipment backing up, scraping of what sounded like metal excavators on cement, and booms of what sounded like blocks of cement being dropped in dump trucks. The other 3 nights of my stay didn't have that issue. The construction related detours and lane closures also makes driving the area a bit trickier. The I-35 frontage road between Stassney Rd and Ben White Blvd is also not pedestrian friendly as it lacks paved sidewalks in some areas.

    Overall upkeep of the property was poor. There were holes in the walls of the room that had been poorly patched up. When I showered, the roof of the shower started leaking. I found a blood stain on the comforter… I’d avoid this property if possible

    I had a great stay at the Red Roof Hotel in Austin! The service was very good, and the staff were super nice and welcoming. The room was spacious and comfortable, which I really appreciated. The only downside was that the floor wasn’t very clean it could’ve used a better mopping. Other than that, everything else was excellent. I’d definitely consider staying here again!

    The location of this hotel is good. A 50% renovation is due. I was disappointed from a long day to come in and notice the room had not been cleaned nor towels replaced. No Usb connections, so bring you electric plug in to use. The beds were made when we arrived, air conditioner barely ran, the extreme lights around the pool need to be toned down. Invest in new black out window covers to keep all outside lighting out.

    I don’t have any complaints about the stay we had here. It was clean and quiet and everyone was very nice that worked there. We didn’t get a chance to use the pool but it was clean and open. We did take our little dog with us, which was no charge for the first pet. They have a station for poop pick up yet some people don’t have the courtesy to use it. Not the hotels fault. The beds were decently comfortable and bedding was clean. I like that there is both a fridge and microwave in the room. Lots of outlets for charging items. We will definitely use this Red Roof Inn the next time we stay in Austin.

    The room was dirty. The sheets were filthy. I had to go get my own sheets and changes the bed linens. Amanda (night shift) worker was pleasant and said she would let the manager know about the sheets and room. When I turned in my key the following morning, the front desk attendant was short. I asked if there was a note to the manager or anything she said no and asked was I trying to get a free room. I was mortified. I came to the hotel because I was my AC at home went out and I have severe asthma. I came to the hotel for relief but instead I got filthy sheets, had to be a maid and accused of wanting something free. Terrible experience.

    My friends and I were in Austin for a group chip and booked our stay here, and I had made a separate booking for my own room. I was only in it for 20 minutes. The room was incredibly humid from the moment you walked in the door and upon further inspection, COVERED in mold. From the bed skirts to the nightstand to the actual bare laminate flooring. The front desk attendant was very sweet though and agreed to have a refund issued, and I was able to stay fortunately able to stay in the room directly across the hall (which was perfectly fine) with the rest of my party to enjoy our trip.

    Requested room service for our extended stay and left the room early in the morning as the cleaning crew were on our floor. Came back 2 hours later and room still not serviced. Went to advise front desk and she assured it would be done so sat outside in the heat for another hour…still not done. Went back to front desk upset and was finally done another hour later. Took 4-5 hours to get our room serviced while finding places and things to do. It was very frustrating.

    As a family with kids I wouldnt recommend! Mold in corners of room. Ac area also mold. The pool was clean and deepest is 5ft. In the downstairs 100 hall im sure there's prostition and drug dealing going on towards the end Also those same people leave objects in the doorway to keep the side door open for randoms to enter! We sat outside smoking and seen a whole lot of eveything going on. I think there's a homless camp or entrance to the property by the dumpsters. There was over 100 dead rollie pollies behind our fridge which looked like the hotel was handling that issue but didnt clean it up. I could only plug up either the fridge or mircowave one at a time. I didnt feel it was safe for my kids there but again any hotel is never safe! The beds are HARD! A plus: NO ROACHS NO BEDBUGS! The floors are hardwood which I love instead of carpet! One of the night employees handled an issue quick and I was impressed! Over all as an adult the hotel was do able and would return but wouldnt return with my children. Its no bad but definitely has some people issues.

    Had a 3 day stay and asked that the room be cleaned daily, it was not. Asked at the front the front desk for fresh towels before attending a 9 hour outdoor event in 90 degree weather. Returned to room at midnight an housekeeping never came or brought clean towels. Room keys did not work on the second day and had to be reprogrammed.

    Room was not properly cleand. Seems like it hadn't be swept throughly. The most outrageous incident happened at 6:55 in the morning a loud knock on the door and then someone opened the door. Luckily I had the security lock on because I'm a woman traveling with only her young son. The man claimed to be from the front desk, said room was supposed to be vacant and wanted to see my ID. I told him I would meet him at the front desk. After being scared awake and putting on clothes I go downstairs and wait for 5 minutes before a 6 foot 400 pound man steps off the elevator. I was very upset. I told him he could have called the room or waited for a response before opening the door. All he would say is the room was supposed to be vacant. Stated he would not give an apology.

    Overall good stay only problem was my key stopped working on two different occasions and we were there on a fast trip so we were tired and just wanted to get in and sleep and our key wouldn’t work so we would have to go back to the lobby to get a new key.

    They had a broken water pipe so the whole hotel didn’t have water. Other than that everything was fine. The water did get restored before my checkout and I was able to get a shower etc…

    I have always stayed in this hotel because it is closer to the concert venues I go to and it is always been my go-to location. However, this time around it was different. Upon arriving to my assigned room, I was greeted with the bed being undone, the restroom dirty and the floor soaked in water. I needed to get ready for the event so I did not let the staff know until I was about to leave. The lady was rude and almost wanted to downgrade me to a twin bed (luckily I was able to get the same room). This whole mishap made me late for my event and for the price I paid… I much rather go somewhere else. I loved this location because it’s safe and always super clean but this was a disappointment.

    The property was very nice looking, a 15 minute drive to the Moody Center for all the concert goers. Staff was very nice and friendly! Would come back again :)

    It was nice the only two issues I had was the person above me and next to me making noise early hours in the morning. Also my ac unit was making a loud noise that kind of made it hard for me to sleep. But overall the stay was nice and the room was clean and i stay for four days and got my housekeeping after my second day so I like that.

    The tv also didn’t have any channels that you could watch besides the guide. Apparently service was cut off and had just turned back on. Needless to say I didn’t sleep well because of the lack of tv…which is what I usually fall asleep to. Spend the extra money and stay somewhere else. You’ll thank me later

    After being told the wifi was down, I accepted the room because I didn't have another option. My room wasn't the king bed that I booked & the floor was completely saturated with water (Mopping I assume). After my employer notified me that I needed to relocate to have access to internet I asked the front desk to cancel. I was told that policy was I couldn't because I entered the room. I've traveled for the government for almost 30 years & never heard this before. She stated that she would refund the second day if I wanted to check out. I agreed to that with no other option. I was still charged for both days. My stay was only about an hour, primarily outside in the parking lot. OVerall, I don't think the property is horrible but it does have some issues, most of which I don't hold against them.

    I never received my 100$ deposit, it’s been over a week. Never got room service. But once and I stayed there a week. Really mad I spent 800$ for a week to not get my money back.

    One downside is the lack of breakfast—just hot water for tea or coffee in the lobby. A little something like fruit or bagels would’ve been nice. If you’re driving, there are decent food spots nearby, but nothing is within walking distance because of the highway. However, the #7 bus stops on the backside of the hotel, runs every 15-20 minutes, and only costs $1.25—super clutch if you don’t want to spend on Uber. I stayed for three days and didn’t get room service once, which was disappointing. Overall, if I were traveling solo, I’d stay here again. But if you’re with family or your lady… might want to look elsewhere! 😂

    They do not clean the rooms often. I asked many times for cleaning, replenishing supplies and removing the trash with no response, I did not get the room cleaned until I complained and on the fourth day. The do not offer anything than morning coffee and even that is always out or cold.

    No wi-fi for the entire stay. Nothing but excuses for the reason why, just “it’s not working, sorry.”What kind of third rate motel is this?The staff looks unprofessional and burnt out. Only the maids were actually functional, pleasant and alert. Why don’t you put them in charge? Won’t ever stay here again.

    Booked an accessible room with a roll-in shower because I am wheelchair bound. They didn't have the room and the ckerks response was since I used 3rd party for the room, they weren't responsible and couldn't help. She offered another room and said I could just use that tub and figure it out. After struggling to use the tub, dicovered the flexible shower spray was broken. Left my phone number with tge manager, I had a funeral ro attend, and haven't heard from him since.

    This used to be a place I wanted to stay but i was placed in a really run down room. The paint in the sink area was bubbled and peeling with mold or other mold like stains, the furniture was so old and there was no pictures on the walls. There was so much dust and hair on the skirting on the bed. I just cant believe how old and run down the halls look now. It really needs a upgrade, I was disappointed.

    This was the worst hotel I’ve ever booked. The customer service was terrible, the whole hotel smelt like cigarettes (even though it was supposed to be smoke-free), the bed sheets and bedding had stains everywhere, the shower was following apart and had mold in it, the air conditioner was broken. When asked to change rooms I was told no. So I asked for a refund and the front desk worker said they couldn’t do it cause of being booked through a 3rd party. However, it was a pay in person which means they must issue refund. Again, worst hotel, worst hotel staff, nasty nasty nasty.

    Staff was very friendly and helpful. The area seemed very safe and the parking lot even had security to keep it that way. The only negative would be that the hotel needs some renovations as the room and halls had paint chips missing on the walls and the wood floor had scratches(presumably from someone’s pet.) But overall we had a great stay and would definitely stay here again.

    The walls and hallways need some upkeep. Check-in was quick. The bed was comfortable and the room appeared to be clean. But when I took a shower there was hair on the shower curtain and towel that was not mine.

    I just wanted an overnight staycation where I could get some peace and quiet and take a long hot bath. Well I got the peace and quiet but the tub was not bathable. There was black mold and black marks around the lining of the tub and shower wall. I could only imagine what was behind that wall. I did feel safe because they have hangers in the room so I could use unen to secure the door. I should’ve been able to see how the floor was mopped but I could see the swirls on the floor. Overall for what I booked the room for(peace and quiet solo trip) it was a 8/10. I would not book again unless I got a better bathroom that was bathable but if not I will pass. Staff was great by the way and check in and out was so smooth I even got an extended check out time which was so helpful! A great pick if a great bathroom is not your concern.

    I had to stay here at the last minute because of a family emergency and this is my 3rd night here out of maybe a week. I really like it and the lady at the front desk is so welcoming and nice. The rooms are clean and I feel safe. I used many apps and searches and drove to a few of the budget hotels but this by far is the nicest. I would recommend this to anyone I know! I’m totally satisfied and the room is clean and comfortable and best of all I feel safe here!

    Ok place to stay for a quick busy day stop. Bed was fluffy and comfortable. The bathroom is spacious and clean with a good hot shower. I do find Red Roof’s burgundy decor a little depressing. However, they do have a nice pool surrounded by trees. No breakfast or coffee station in the morning :(
