We love this hotel. The location, room size, amenities, cleanliness, fun happy hour & the buffet is AWESOME! My family has stayed here 3 separate times & the front desk staff has been rude every single time. I have overlooked the way they speak to guests MANY times, but I cannot anymore. Not just 1 person multiple ladies multiple times. My family has been yelled @, called a liar, huffed @ & eye rolls from different front desk staff. Been trapped on an elevator & scolded for it even though there was no sign or communication it was broken. We travel from dfw many times a year for UT events & want to stay here, but the front desk ladies need a refresher on customer service. 3 separate times from multiple different staff is not a fluke it is a problem.

Breakfast was the ONLY decent part of the stay. Exec. Chef. made a nice rolled green chili chorizo omelette - isn't it telling when the only part of your entire experience that rose above 'meh' is eggs? This place needs a major update or a wrecking ball. I remember when it was built - it had not changed a bit - except for the breakfast area. If you love the 80's-90's, this is your place - other than a gray paint job. Desk staff was two *, the maintenance guy was a 0. Refrig. in room was not working, freezer solid ice. Maintenance guy spent < 3 min, said it was "re-set", "all good" and sort of made it clear he wasn't coming back. Spouse has special dietary requirements - which we bring - and is why we book where we have a refrigerator. It all spoiled... A $22+ charge just for a place to park _in_an_open_outdoor_parking_lot_ accessible_ to_a_freeway_service_road_ is a new one for me. Wouldn't go back on a bet.

I enjoyed my stay because it was clean, comfortable, and very peaceful. The staff is very courteous and helpful, and the breakfast was impressive. A chef would even cook a fresh omelette of your choice for you!

Very disappointed with my stay at Embassy Suites Austin. The hotel was dirty, with stained carpets and unclean common areas. The property is clearly in need of maintenance, as several fixtures were worn out or not functioning properly. Overall, the hotel felt neglected and far below the standard I expected. I would not stay here again.

This Embassy Suites is older, but the bathroom should be upgraded for the price you pay to stay. The shower/bath facility was old and the handle on the shower was difficult to turn. The air conditioner in the room is old, and as such, it was difficult to control the room temperature. For the amount you pay to stay at this Embassy Suties, the rooms should be upgraded. I did appreciate the delicious breakfast buffet, and the size of the rooms is great. The room was clean and very spacious. Overall, I would rate at about a 6. Thank you.

We enjoyed our time at the hotel amenities were great but the a/c was not working well and the pillows were too small.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Only issue was the bathtub, paint was chipping. Was nervous to take a shower did not want to make it worse.
- 5/5
The suite was spacious and provided plenty of room to relax. I especially appreciated the comfortable bed, quiet atmosphere, and convenient amenities. The complimentary breakfast offered a great variety of options and was a fantastic way to start each day. The location was convenient, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I would definitely stay at Embassy Suites again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable hotel experience.
- 2.5/5
Friendly staff.. good breakfast Room not properly cleaned or stocked. Paid for parking. Too many people and not enough staff to clean
- 5/5
Was able to check in about an hour early, which was appreciated. The breakfast is always the main reason I book this hotel and it didn’t disappoint. The bathrooms have been remodeled since my last visit. The sink basin had a few minor cosmetic issues, but nothing major. The room was large, comfortable, and made for an overall great stay.
- 5/5
Great breakfast, clean rooms.
- 1/5
When I spoke to management about it they did not show that they cared and said it’s too late to do anything about it
- 2/5
Pool area was disgusting. Puddles of water everywhere. Bathrooms in the pool area were dirty too and hand towel dispenser wasn’t working. The tub in the room felt gross. I showered with my flip flops on because it felt gross. The breakfast tasted great though! The floor in the breakfast space just felt so sticky though. And we went to breakfast early, so not like we were there at the end of breakfast.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times over the last 10 years. It feels very safe. It needs a refresh. It’s starting to look really worn and tired.
- 4/5
I stayed 4 nights at the property. The staff was excellent! The free breakfast is better than any other free breakfast I have had and the room is truly a suite, plenty of room for work and rest! The only disappointment was the bathroom; specifically the tub & shower. The tub looked old and not particularly clean and the shower water pressure left much to be desired. I would definitely stay here again, hopefully in a different room with a better bathroom situation. Again, the staff, the breakfast and the size of the room were tremendous! I also took advantage of the workout facility which was very good, very clean.

The staff was not easy to work with when I checked in. I had the reservation under my husband’s name and they would not let me check in until I updated the reservation. This was not my issue thought my frustration is how it was handled and the attitude I was given to correct a simple problem. It was handled like it was a problem rather than offering options to fix and resolve quickly. I also did not like they charge extra for parking when it is a basic parking lot in a run down parking lot.
- 3/5
The room itself was over all clean, but the shower needs some hardcore maintenance. The shower curtain pole was falling apart. When I showered all the water would come out. Since the curtain pole was practically fallen down, the curtain would not hold in place, so all the water would come out. Also, they charge for parking, no where when i booked was I advised I would be charged for parking.

Breakfast 5/5 Pool 5/5 Cleanliness 2/5 Pull out sofa bed 0/5 We decided to stay here after a fantastic stay at another Embassy suites in Dallas which was 10/5 overall, and we expected the same from the entire chain but was not the case. This is a high volume hotel so I understand keeping each room clean is a challenge but if the staff can’t keep up with the current workload then more should be hired. Tons of room for improvements there. It was unwelcomely dirty/dusty under the restroom sink cabinet which I opened looking for more towels. I found what appeared to be dog hair on the pull out couch, which had a spring on the floor and a ridiculously uncomfortable almost flat mattress. This made the bed unusable for even our kids. Room sleep capacity should be corrected to 4 or 5 if you count the couch as a single bed to lay across. Also a couch spring was laying on the floor. Soap bottle by sin were dirty at the dispenser tip with accumulation from previous use. We found a disgusting brown substance in the sink as well. We have pictures of all this. Staff was friendly throughout and very helpful when needed. Breakfast was great. Pool was awesome. We will probably give another place or 2 a try before returning here, if ever.

- 4.5/5
Breakfast was good, love the buffet style there was plenty of seating for how busy the hotel was. Love the size of the rooms and that there was an extra sink outside of the bathroom. Love inside pools but I really liked this one as it was not hot and humid in the pool area and it had a shower for you to rinse off in. I only have 2 "complaints" .. 1) the conditioner container in the shower was empty so I had to notify front desk to have it filled. And 2) one of the elevators stopped working and so it was a much longer wait to get in one.

Good location. Loved the seating in the common area. My room was taken when I was checking in had to down size for the same price. NO HOT WATER, in the morning when I was getting ready. Maintenance man took forever to get. Missed breakfast and late for my scheduled meeting. Staff are rude as well. Missed up my whole day!

Aging but beautiful hotel with a lovely atrium and nice detail work. Really enjoyed how nice the staff was and the breakfast was outstanding. The rooms were dark. The sofa in the suite area was wet for some reason. The refinished sink and bathtub were cracked and peeling. General musty smell. Customers staying at the hotel are required to pay to park in the parking lot. This should be free to hotel guests without question.

I booked a two queen room and a sofa bed for 5 people, I was charged extra for 2 persons. When I arrived to the hotel at 4:00pm they overbooked the hotel and they only had a room with a King and the sofa bed. The rooms are gross and old. The Sofa Bed had a huge stain of god know what. Only one of the elevators worked. The area does not feel safe. The hotel is surrounded by old apartments, I did not feel safe walking outside.
- 4/5
Hotel is nice, breakfast is very good. MY only complaint is that if you like a hot tub, do not stay here! Yes, they advertise that they have a hot tub and they do. My issues is that they took out the jets option for the hot tub and all you do is sit in hot water. That is not my idea of a hot tub! Other then that, it is a nice place. Employees and breakfast in the morning is awesome.
- 4/5
Great location. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Great hot tub. The gym was above average. GREAT breakfast as well, first time I've ever made sure to not miss a single morning of breakfast. Awesome value.
- 2/5
Air conditioning was not working in our first room and next room did not have hot water for showers in the morning. One of the elevators was out of order leading to long waits. Breakfast was good. I typically love the Embassy Suites but this one in Austin needs some investment.

DO NOT LIKE PAYING FOR PARKING IT I AM A GUEST UNLESS IT IS VALET. HAVING TO PAY $200+ A NIGHT AND $26.93 FOR PARKING PER DAY IS NOT RIGHT. VISITORS CAN PAY FOR PARKING AND NOT GUESTS! GIVE YOUR GUESTS A PARKING PASS THAT SITS IN THE WINSHIELD OF THE CAR!

The rooms were spacious and comfortable but didn’t quite cool down enough for us.

The lobby, staff and food were excellent Our room was ok, but didn't compare to other embassy suites we have stayed in. Our room didn't get cleaned until we went to a concert those nights.
- 2.5/5
The bartenders at the cocktail hour were very nice and accommodating. We were extremely disappointed in our stay at this particular Embassy Suites. We have stayed in numerous Embassy Suites throughout the years. This one was by far was the worst. The decor was bland (no hanging plants) decor was stark and outdated and not very clean. There was no way to turn on the jets in the hot tub. The cocktail hour offered boring dry bar mix as the appetizers.

Generally, It was in pre-run down state. The rooms were large. The breakfast was delicious. Just need some maintenance updating fresh paint drywall repair the drywall behind my commode was damaged and unrepaired.
- 1/5
Slightly concerned when we were trying to get ice packs or something to help, then the ac apparently didn’t work and it was 80 in the room. So we had to then pack everything back up and go to a new room and that room one side of the power didn’t work and the floors were so dirty they turned ours and our infants feet black so we couldn’t let him crawl anywhere we ended up having to carry him the entire time. Then they say the have cribs and they did not. They had a tiny play pin that didn’t even have any cushion in it that is dangerous for you baby to sleep in because they can smother them self so we ended up not even having anywhere for him to sleep. The staff was rude and it was so upset stay. It honestly made me regret booking through yall and coming back using hotels.com
- 4.5/5
The cleanliness, the somewhat 24 hour service, onsite restaurant, indoor pool and jacuzzi, the staff, the lobby snack set up. No trash bags in all the trash can in the room.
- 4/5
Breakfast as a nice buffet.
- 4/5
rooms are a dated and our ac worked but it to stay on fan and a certain degree to keep cooler. It worked out but would have been nice to shut down and and start like normal ac.
- 5/5
Clean room, breakfast was fantastic and had lots of choices.
- 5/5
Great place loved the room floor plan especially for 2 people and husband wife!
- 5/5
Creo tienen que mejorar el desayuno y hacer inspección en los baños de los cuartos que están muy viejos y descuidados
- 4/5
Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms, plumbing and AC/heat are dated but clean and spacious. There are no personal, outside balconies, only interior hallways with railings.Great centralized location so it was easy to travel into Austin Central or North Austin without problems. Happy hour was quite enjoyable with specific free well drinks and snacks available. Big breakfast options, offering made-to-order omelettes along with all other breakfast foods. Covered Smoking area available outside.
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, awesome happy hour, great breakfast buffet!!
- 4/5
The breakfast served here was hands down one of the best breakfast spreads I’ve ever seen at a hotel! They had a chef dedicated to making delicious omelettes and I loved that they had bacon and different varieties of food being served daily. It only sucked that breakfast was from 6-9am. Overall I throughly enjoyed it. The building is kind of old looking on the outside but the inside truly surprised me. It’s so beautiful indoors and I like the Parisian style look. The bathrooms are small but functional and the living space and bedrooms are very spacious especially when you’re taking four to five people on vacation. Parking was also something I didn’t really like. They have such a big parking lot but parking cost $22 per night. Overall my experience was good. 👍
- 5/5
Large, clean room! Great hot breakfast, nice free happy hour! Enjoyed hot tub!
- 5/5
Great location! Friendly staff!
- 5/5
Breakfast was the same everyday. I was hoping for a sampler of fresh fruit but all they had was oranges and apples. I liked the granola and yogurt option. Coffee was good and hot and plenty of room to sit and visit. Weight room was large and had nice setup, wish they had better fans for better air circulation. Hot tub was a good temperature, the jets were on but not very aggressive. The room was clean and beds were comfy, wish they didn't chage $22 a night for parking.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great. Size of rooms awesome. Breakfast delicious and stocked. Elevators always working. Liked that they cleaned the room even with just a 2 night stay. Complimentary water in the lobby was always stocked. The carpets in the rooms are old and feel dirty. Beds, pillows, and bedding are uncomfortable. The positioning of the toilet and shower was very uncomfortable and cramped.

This is a little older hotel. But the location is perfect. The breakfast is WONDERFUL! The rooms are spacious with a separate TV area if your sleep partner stays up later or gets up earlier than you. The AC in the room could get a little colder but that’s my only complaint
- 5/5
Great experience and overall stay

The air conditioning was not working. I had to move to another room at 3 in the morning. Supervisor was trying to charge me for new room that I had to relocate to. Second room I was in was leaking water from ceiling on first floor. Rooms were old smelled musty. They charge 20 dollars per night for parking.
- 2/5

Breakfast was fresh. Super delicious. Hot tub and pool were great! Very relaxing.
- 4.5/5
I liked that this location provides an AMAZING breakfast every morning for the guests that tops ANY other hotel breakfast that I have ever experienced before! I also appreciated how accommodating & kind all of the employees were during our stay here. They never got frustrated with us. Even after having to get our room keys re-made at least 4 different times! The ONLY thing that I can say that I did NOT like about my stay here, would be the fact that the AC in my room would either hardly work, or just not work at all. Which caused it to literally feel like a hot indoor pool inside of my room constantly.
- 4/5
This is one of my favorite Embassy’s. I always stay here when I’m in town.
- 5/5
Breakfast was wonderful, delicious and the best we ever experienced at a hotel one elevator was broken
- 4/5
The room was huge and clean. Breakfast offered a lot of variety and staff was quick when things needed to be replaced on the bar. The location was nice, close to the Moody center for our concert. There was plenty of parking, but when you book there is no mention of having to pay to park. The one downside was there were 2 water roaches in our room the day we were checking out. It grossed me out to see them crawling on the floor. Other than that we had a good experience.
- 3/5
There was no food available to purchase from the hours of 9am - 5pm. The pool was out of order. Having access to the listed amenities was part of the reason I choose to stay here. Knowing they were unavailable, I would not have chosen to stay.
- 3.5/5
Very simple Shower was dirty
- 3/5
Great location to easy access to Moody Center. Although hotel was clean it was outdated and needs upgrades. Pin holes in curtains, shower didn't have water pressure unless temp was turned to scalding hot, indoor pool and hot tub were closed and didn't look like they had been cleaned in quite some time.
- 5/5
Breakfast was good staff is helpful

Room: tv guide not available on tv unable to turn on shower maintenance came to help & struggled. Duvet cover placed on top of duvet. Duvet not inside cover. Lazy. Pool hot tub not working. Was told it would be next day. Was not. Came specifically for relaxing weekend with daughter. I’m a former Embassy GM and was not impressed.

Location was amazing while traveling throughout Austin. Room and staff were great! Can’t wait to stay there next time we’re in Austin!
- 4/5
The exterior as well as the metal fencing around the property almost made us cancel our reservation
- 4/5
Everything was good! Feel like the bathrooms could use an update.
- 3/5
Additionally, having to pay for parking is absurd. I have paid 200+ dollars a night for a room and then I am expected to pay an additional 20 dollars a day for parking which is asinine. Staff were friendly and welcoming however, and the general quality of the common area and restaurant was of good quality. Room air-conditioning was also subpar to say the least. Overall not a great experience and would recommend staying elsewhere in Austin.

The rooms are old. Carpet is patched together where it needs to be replaced entirely. My crawling baby scraped his knee and elbow on one of those patches that were tacked together. Everything else was great, but for that reason alone, I will look somewhere else next time.

We booked very last minute and stayed overnight for about 10 hours total so I can't speak to all aspects of it. Overall it was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The furniture was a little beat up and there were little random things broken. The bed was comfortable. I hate the square pillows, and this hotel has them instead of standard size. The staff was really friendly and helpful and breakfast smelled great, though we did not eat it.

Our room was not very clean, the bathroom needs updating. Our shower backed up multiple times and had a slow drip. Our fridge stopped working the last night and all of the snacks I bought for the road trip home ruined and our ice packs melted.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean and very spacious. The property looks very run down on the outside, but decent on the inside. Breakfast was great, lots of options. The hot tub was broken whilw there. Noone informed us of this. Our water was never warm in the shower and pur ac didnt work in our room.
- 5/5
Clean room
- 4/5
Breakfast at Embassy is always great with a variety of selections. Front desk friendliness could use some improvement. Overall great stay.
- 5/5
Great breakfast!
- 5/5
4th stay, i like the location and overall stay.
- 1/5
Bed bugs in the first room we were placed in, dirty matress. 2nd room leaky sink facuet. Main reason the hotel was picked was for the indoor pool, which was closed for maintanence.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel and breakfast is very good.
- 5/5
The facility is clean, and I really appreciate how prompt maintenance was when I asked them to fix my shower—that handle was too tight and I couldn't turn it. The room was pleasantly surprising with its spacious size. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely stay again!
- 4/5
The hot tub was not Hot and the jets did not work.
- 4/5
Overall, the hotel met our needs. It is in a good location and easy to get downtown and to the UT campus. The daily breakfast was delicious and offered many choices. We had a 2 bedroom suite which had plenty of room for the 4 of us. It is a bit inconvenient that the bathroom is inside one of the bedrooms and is tiny. The AC system was very noisy and did not seem to cool efficiently. The staff we interacted with were very friendly. They did send a building engineer to check out the AC but we were about to check out at that time
- 1/5
The property was overall okay and the stay was decent. However, one thing I did not like was the smell in the rooms. They had a strong old or musty odor, which made the room feel less fresh and comfortable. Other than that, the property itself was acceptable.
- 2/5
Old hotel property. Bar staff rude. Mark, the manager great personality. Omelets pretty good.
- 4/5
With all of that, it is still the quietest hotel around. The staff is outstanding!
- 2/5
Roach in the room, dirty, pool had so many chemicals I had to wash and condition three times my kids hair. It was gross in the pool area
- 5/5
GOOD
- 5/5
Good room
- 5/5
breakfast options were great and the 2 bedroom suite was spacious

Na
- 1/5
Now the breakfast was good and the lobby was clean. I never received an explanation for the check-in experience but we only stayed one night since we have a timeshare so it worked out. The room was like a 2 star especially with the dingy towels broken off pierces on the tub with cracks & rotted door. I usually buy 3-4 stars to avoid these things but like I said, one night. Breakfast was good just like ES. Very disappointed & won’t stay at this particular location again
- 5/5
Clean, staff helpful, including good breakfast and happy hour
- 5/5
Everything
- 5/5
Clean, friendly staff. Great location.
- 1/5
The hotel was in disrepair, the mattress was dirty, the elevators were out of order, there was hair in our sinks and the hotel was surrounded by houses with boarded up windows and graffiti. We did not even stay here, we left and stayed at the Embassy Suites Arboretum. It was much nicer and in a better part of town. We lost our money on the hotel, but jeopardizing our safety was not worth spending the night there. We chose to pay again for another hotel with clean, comfortable, and working amenities.
- 5/5
Best breakfast and cocktail hour
- 3/5
Thank you for everyone else that works there truly good cooks and other employees.
- 4/5
Food
- 3/5
enough it stopped up again before we lef.
- 3/5
Having rooms ready at check in time we waited for over and hour to get our room.
- 4/5
Room was Great, only thing was the A/C didn’t cool very well
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful & exceptional. Front desk staff was excellent. BUT when we went to eat breakfast, there was a female staff member with all gray hair in her 50’s and she was EXTREMELY RUDE, i asked her a question and she didn’t bother replying she had an angry face and only gestured for me to give her my plate. Management please talk to her because that attitude she was giving off was unacceptable in such a fine place. I’m bilingual, and probably her same race, so that was definitely not the problem.
- 5/5
The room was very clean and spacious, the pool and hot tub were open but have a layer of film on the top
- 1/5
my first room was too hot and when I asked to switch, they didn't give me access to my belongings that were still in my original room. Had to go back and ask for the original room key, then when I tried it, it didn't work. Went back down for the third time and got a key that worked and then back and forth to the new room and to return the temporary key. That wasn't a good start.
- 3/5
Fridge was not working and the sofa bed was broken so part of my party had to sleep on the couch instead. The water pressure in the shower was excellent.
- 3/5
Room had a leak. Low water pressure
- 5/5
Hotel was great, large rooms, comfortable beds amazing breakfast. There was a problem with our reservation due to a change in dates, the front desk personnel were very helpful and worked with us to get a room at a discounted rate. We were attending a wrestling HS event and did not want to have to change hotels. Also it was in the evening and we were tired and just wanted a room. Would definitely stay there again. The hotel personnel went above and beyond to provide great service.
- 4/5
Room was clean and nice. Great Happy Hour, would have liked the bar to stay open later than 10 pm on a Friday night
- 4/5
First put in a room that was
- 5/5
Outstanding on all levels. Free parking would be nice
- 5/5
loved it
- 5/5
Spacious rooms! Great customer service! Clean lobby! Bar was spacious and great for socializing! 10/10!
- 5/5
It was amazing
- 3/5
The room was dark and kinda musty. The way the hotel is set up make it very loud in the rooms. A flimsy french door will not block out any hallway and lobby sound. Not to mention weord plumbing noises in the walls. Our room was cleaned the first full day but the next 2 days they put folded towels on the couch, didn't make the beds, didnt take our wet towels, didnt give us new trash bags ect. It was decent enough but nothing impressive.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
el personal muy amable, especialmente el de cocina
- 5/5
Property has some updates, feels safe and clean enough.
- 5/5
The room was nice and clean and the room service was is on point!
- 1/5
I invite the management team to go lay down with the “pillows” you provide. For the amount of $$$ you’ll spend here I highly recommend somewhere else.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay, but I was mislead into thinking that a balcony faced outdoors however it faced the interior hotel. The room was clean, bathroom was sufficient. The bed was comfortable and they seemed clean. The only issue we had was the air conditioner did not get cold enough and we woke up a little sweaty off and on throughout the night. The breakfast and other amenities seemed wonderful!
- 4/5
Everything
- 5/5
Clean rooms friendly staff.
- 5/5
Great hotel! Ample parking, great spread for breakfast and kids loved pool area.
- 3/5
Bed makes too much noise when you get on it and off! Makes a popping sound! And microwave was in a bad spot. Refrigerator could be updated! Other than that, everything was fine. Staff was very friendly.
- 5/5
Yes
- 5/5
Friendly staff, amazing breakfasts
- 3/5
The hotel was nice. But we were pretty upset we weren’t warned the pool was down and this was a quick trip and booked this hotel solely for the pool. Also the elevators were very sketchy they both sounded pretty rough on the left side.
- 5/5
Stay was great. Staff was friendly and breakfast was great.
- 4/5
Only thing is that I don't think we should be charged for the parking
- 3/5
Room was smelled like humidity
- 4/5
Excellent breakfast Old furniture Shower faucet need replacement
- 4/5
Faucet of shower was so hard to open
- 5/5
Beautiful place friendly courteous staff awesome breakfast great place to stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
- 5/5
Omelets were great.
- 4/5
Very nice interiors, breakfast was superior (live omelette station, nice options). The hotel itself was cozy, and there was a door between the TV/couch area and the beds. I don’t like the bathroom because it is very small and hard to get ready in. The lobby was beautiful with clear elevators. One thing is that the light on the couch wouldn’t turn on.
- 3/5
The food was great. The property has a great design but the upkeep is terrible. The bathroom had mildew everywhere and bathtub needs replacing as paint peeling everywhere. A random pipe was dripping from the ceiling not connected to anything. And tub clogged. It just felt nasty.
- 5/5
- free parking - amazing breakfast - spacious, carpeted rooms, good beds and quiet - good location - indoor pool and hot tub - happy hour with free drink What could be better: - nothing, we were pretty happy with everything Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
- 5/5
We loved staying at this hotel. It exceeded our expectations. Breakfast was amazing the rooms very comfy. Family of 6 stayed very comfortable. Washer and dryer not good that's the only complaint I have. Indoor pool was also very nice.
- 3/5
Overall there were some really great aspects of this property. However, the laundry facilities were unacceptable and mostly nonfunctioning. I asked for a sheet change due to my child spilling all over it. Housekeeping just remade the bed as is. This was very unacceptable because we didn’t discover it until bedtime because the bed was remade. At this point the bed was unusable.
- 5/5
The best Embassy Suites in Austin, clean the best breakfast everything.
- 3/5
There was no trash bags in the trash cans and only had 2 towels in the room. The night staff on Friday was so rude and unprofessional!
- 4/5
Room good. It advertises as having an indoor pool but the water is too cold yo get in it. If it weren't for that, I would have given it 5 stars
- 3/5
The hotel seems pretty dated. The bathrooms were very small with older furnishings. Location was ok right off the highway. Seems like they have issues with homeless people eating at the open breakfast.
- 3/5
The hotel looks pretty good in pictures but in reality is old not renovated , bathoub was old and they added paint over
- 5/5
Room was excellent
- 5/5
I really liked the stay, big room and great buffet
- 5/5
It was a great experience.
- 1/5
I FORGOT MY POWERCORD TO MY IPHONE MARRIOTT MAILED ME BACK TWO ARTICLES OF CLOTHING FREE OF CHARGE THE HILTON GAVE ME A LINK TO MAIL AND PAY FOR IT MYSELF THATS NOT GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE. MAIL BACL PRICE WAS $78-33$. OUTRAGEOUS
- 5/5
Clean room, very good breakfast, friendly staff, nice indoor pool and hot tub
- 1/5
No hot water for 2 nights, no AC and then no heat.
- 4/5
Nice staff and great breakfast!
- 5/5
Menu had what I wanted.
- 4/5
Great hotel with pool and hot tub . Staff very friendly and efficient . The rooms are a little dated but very spacious. The breakfast is great overall great place to stay.
- 5/5
Great location and easy check in. Nice quite rooms and comfortable beds.
- 5/5
We will definitely stay here again!!
- 5/5
My stay was awesome. easy to check in everything was clean. Great complementary breakfast in the morning. Will come back next time I’m in Austin.
- 5/5
Food
- 3/5
normally the linens for pull out bed are clean in a zip lock bag`- THIS time they were left on the bed.
- 3/5
After bragging for months about the shower we were extremely dissatisfied with our room shower this visit..
- 5/5
Everything was great. $17 to park but only a 1 time fee. Definitely will visit again!
- 3/5
Overall a decent hotel. The $17 parking is inconvenient, especially since it’s not gated and unusual for open parking to be paid for. The hotel could use some renovation, the age of the building and facilities is starting to show. The hallways and rooms also have a strange musty smell to it too. Breakfast was good though, and the cook to order omelette station was a nice touch. If you need a place to sleep in for the night this is a good option, but overall given the Hilton name this is a 3 star option.
- 3/5
Great breakfast but leaky shower and room needs a new bathtub.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, awesome facilities, and amazing breakfast.
- 4/5
Always love staying at Embassy’s because of their breakfast. Only thing was I accidentally booked the wrong embassy. I usually stay at the one on Congress because there’s more walkable things to do around the area. This Embassy was more north off the expressway so couldn’t do much sight seeing. But again that was my fault. We enjoyed the view from hotel, the comfort etc.
- 5/5
Good food -and clean room and service
- 5/5
Room was always clean, breakfast omelettes were awesome
- 5/5
I could go on and on!!!!
- 3/5
Air conditioner did not work
- 5/5
Great Hotel, breakfast was Great and evening cocktails and snacks hit the spot!!! Would decently stay here again
- 4/5
Free happy hour
- 5/5
Free Happy hour was a plus! The rooms were huge and very clean! Also the breakfast buffet was delicious! Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
We had the 2 room suite, and it was very accommodating for our family for our 2 night stay. The rooms were clean, and overall it was a very nice hotel. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Also only a few minutes away from several stores and restaurants downtown and very close to the Moody Center.
- 2/5
The hotel was pretty nice. The happy hour and breakfast were great as well as the staff. However, the bathroom was tiny and looked like an afterthought compared to everything else. Not very clean (vents were very dirty, mold in the shower, not water resistant, cloth shower curtain that was wet upon arrival, weird caulking job in showers and on counter that was not at all professional looking or neat). Furniture in room was pretty banged up and bedside tables weren’t clean and had white dried substance on one. Definitely not the standard I’m used to at an embassy suites.
- 5/5
The breakfast was delicious
- 5/5
Excellent hotel, been here before and will stay here again in the near future, as I will be visiting a lot more often, since my child attends UT Austin.
- 5/5
Room was great!! Pool was clean and nice! Had a great stay and would definitely stay again
- 5/5
Clean room, excellent staff & service
- 3/5
Staff wasn’t helpful, bedding poor , minimal pillows, when called for more was told they “only had 2.” The pillows were awful
- 5/5
Visited Austin with my boyfriend for his birthday. Great hotel choice, nice staff we arrived before the check in time and was able to check in early, got recommendations on restaurants in the area and gave us water and a free snack for my bf bday. Clean rooms, spacious, loved my room had 2 sinks so I did my makeup on one and my bf used the other, indoor pool, big lobby free yummy hot breakfast and complimentary happy hour!
- 5/5
Cleaned and stocked , chefs did great , front desk were so nice .
- 5/5
Great stay
- 5/5
Everything was great !
- 5/5
Clean, good breakfast
- 5/5
Great room, great food, nice hotel, hot hot tub
- 3/5
Food was fresh and good options. Property is too old, needs a renovation.
- 5/5
Breakfast was amaizng and rooms are always so clean and comfy.
- 5/5
Comfortable place away from home!
- 5/5
The staff handing the bar are great along with the receptionist along with the cleaning crew.
- 5/5
We loved the breakfast. We were disappointed that there were no pool towels at the pool and the jets in the hot tub were not working. We really liked this hotel and would stay there again, hopefully the hot tub will be fixed.
- 4/5
Was a little shocked to have to pay $17 per night parking fee. Never had that before and don’t remember seeing when booking but maybe I just overlooked.
- 5/5
The friendliness of staff , room was clean , and the breakfast buffet
- 1/5
Ded. snd I
- 5/5
Amazing staff, location and overall experience. I will be back.
- 5/5
Spacious, clean rooms. Generous happy hour. Very large selection with the breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
The room was neat and clean. The breakfast was excellent. Location was convenient.
- 5/5
Clean
- 5/5
Hotel was in great location, staff was friendly and helpful, room was comfortable and happy hour and breakfast were very good. Would definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Everything was great! Breakfast was included and amazing!! Room was clean bed was comfortable. Only thing was was a little disappointing was guest have to pay to park cars. Still a great place!
- 5/5
Good hotel for the price
- 5/5
Never disappointed staying at Embassy Suites in Austin.
- 5/5
I felt safe & welcoming since I walked in the door. All staff was friendly, my room was clean and nice, had dinner in the bar with a complimentary drink. I am handicapped and parking was free. Thanks for a nice stay
- 5/5
Great!
- 4/5
Needs a refresh in the rooms - carpeted rooms are outdated
- 5/5
The exterior of the hotel was beautiful
- 4/5
The room and the hotel were clean. Very nice ambience. We enjoyed our stay. The only comment I have is that one of the elevators was not working so there was a bit of a back up when we first got there. Otherwise, we will stay here again.
- 4/5
Everything was as expected
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The only problem with the room was there was no heat in the room.
- 3/5
Charged us $17 parking per day.
- 3/5
room bathroom needs updated. no towels at pool. hot tub has no jets. no clock in pool area. floors and carpet dirty.
- 5/5
Also the breakfast buffet & evening cocktail hour were very good.
- 4/5
Room was clean, quiet, and spacious. Was disappointed in the bathroom. Very small for such a spacious room. There was water damage on the ceiling and the towel hook was coming off the back of the door. It was difficult to enter the bathroom and close the door before sitting on the toilet. With the size of the room, a larger bathroom could have easily been installed and added more luxury to the space. Breakfast buffet was well stocked and spacious. Food was good. Loved the omelet bar. Expected better accommodations for seating. Tables were dated, scarred and wobbly. But still loved the open space of the atrium. It gave a spacious feeling and an inviting atmosphere.
- 5/5
Always a great stay with my family at this location, rooms are very clean and overall great customer service, easy check-in, and safety gives a peace of mind! Quiet rooms and great breakfast! Happy hour is a huge plus, great drinks and overall atmosphere! We have stayed here for our Austin travels for over 4 years and have no complaints!
- 5/5
Lovely
- 3/5
Queríamos descansar y toda la noche algo tronaba en nuestra habitación…bastante molesto
- 2/5
The 2-bedroom suite has only one bathroom, and is only accessible from within one of the bedrooms. Not recommended. The breakfast is just so-so. The hotel charges another $19/night for parking in the mall-style parking lot. All in all, a disappointing stay.
- 3/5
Staff should be more flexible.
- 5/5
Our stay was wonderful—the hotel was clean and welcoming, with excellent hospitality. We especially enjoyed the complimentary happy hour and the great variety at breakfast.
- 1/5
Room was unsecured the balcony door with no balcony. We had a kid with us. I could just walked out and fell off. The bathtub was peeling and chipping along with the sink. There was no toilet paper no extra towels. The pillows were terrible just
- 5/5
Everything was Great, like Always!!!
- 3/5
The hotel was just basic. The room is clean, overall okay stay
- 5/5
Enjoyed the bar… loved my room
- 5/5
The lobby was pretty and the rooms were spacious
- 5/5
Our stay was very nice, the staff was wonderful. The place was clean and the bed was very comfortable, I enjoyed the the breakfast buffet and lounge area. I would stay again and recommend anyone I know to stay.
- 3/5
We booked 2 bedrooms but when we arrived told no more available and we would be given two separate rooms but comped for second. The cost was the same and it was very inconvenient to go back and forth to just pay the same price. A one bedroom is not the same price. We weren’t comped anything.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Friendly staff, comfy accommodations. Could have been a bit on the cleaner and tidy side. Not too big a big deal, but for the price we paid for one night, I expected a spic and span room.
- 3/5
The pressure of the water of the bathroom was really low. And when i tried to put on a high pressure, it would just get really hot. Also, when we first got on the shower there was a lot of hair on the tub. The rest of the room was fine. Pretty clean on other areas expect for the tub.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and always there to help out The room was big and cleaned
- 4/5
Good overall. Just a little old furniture and that sort of thing
- 5/5
Surroundings a bit sketchy
- 5/5
Great hospitality and customer service from the staff. We enjoyed our upgraded suite, which was a pleasant surprise for me and my daughter’s road trip and Tate McRae concert! They made my daughter feel like a complete rockstar and made her trip a memorable experience! Great location, 3 minute uber drive, and beautiful hotel!
- 5/5
Good location.
- 1/5
We check in 9/18 in room 913 he room and that whole tail end of the corridor was beyond just hot even though the rest of the hotel was cool. I contacted the front desk they said they would send maintenance. Nothing was fixed but they told us it was. The thermostat said 60 degrees the room was well into the 70s even at night. Night two same thing we finally ask for fans because they offered no alternatives than let us continue to stay in the worst room ever uncomfortable as ever 0/10.
- 5/5
Didn’t care for the parking fee but don’t mind after the free breakfast and happy hour. Best part of visit. Only half the elevators worked. Need more laundry machines.
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating!!
- 5/5
Lots of places nearby to eat. Manager's reception incuded beer, wines and specialty drinks with savory snacks.
- 4/5
A wonderful staff and good complimentary breakfast. We stayed in the two bedroom suite and were surprised that the shared bathroom access was via the smaller second bedroom. Which can be a bit of a tricky situation when nature calls and you have to interrupt the other individual to use the facilities. I am wondering if this was a one off or if all the suites have the same layout?
- 4/5
Family friendly, great breakfast
- 5/5
The ladies at the counter were very courteous and helpful being bilingual.
- 5/5
Great hotel!
- 5/5
everything was good. We will be back in november
- 5/5
Breakfast 👌👌 the pool was nice too.
- 5/5
It was lit
- 3/5
Slightly later pool area access for maybe members. Our room also has some work needing to be done. Messy patchwork and part of wall looks like it's falling. Breakfast at this location was sub-par compared to others I have stayed at.
- 5/5
The staff was AMAZING!!! THE BEST EVER!!! I was there 4 days & the outside doors did not work with the key access. I was there for work got in super late & my room was by the side door the area to smoke. I had to walk all thw way around to the front door as a i passed 2 doors thayvwould not open with my key card. It sounded like the employees knew & it just is not getting fixed.
- 5/5
Great service
- 3/5
They also don’t offer free Wi-Fi. Instead, you have to sign up for access, which is very inconvenient. Our room was just okay. The shower definitely needs an upgrade, as everything felt old and outdated. There was also an unpleasant “old apartment” smell throughout, and the commode was in terrible condition. The only positive I can mention is their breakfast, it was the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, that alone is not enough for us to want to return.
- 4/5
The staff is very helpful and friendly. Great customer service
- 5/5
The breakfast is bomb
- 5/5
Everything was nice. Clean room, great food. etc
- 4/5
Improvement with elevators.,Put of 4 only 2 working and slow.
- 5/5
The property was nice and quiet. No complaints
- 5/5
Good breakfast with homemade made to order omelets. Loved the happy hour too.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Great service
- 4/5
The bath tub was outdated with yellow streak stain doen the middle and cracks that had been filled in. To charge for parking I feel is terrible. I told the fabulous staff member that this is what moves people to VRBOS. She took away the charge but 17$ a night for an open parking lot?? Disappointing. Staff everywhere were excellent. Food and bar was excellent!
- 5/5
Staff was extremely friendly. Great breakfast
- 4/5
Everything was great but the mattress on the bed was so hard we both woke up in pain. It was a queen sized bed. I don’t recall it being like that when we stayed here before, so hopefully it is an isolated incident. We love the breakfast and the size of the rooms!
- 4/5
We had a few problems this stay. Our room was hot when we got there, it took long to cool off. The toilet seat was very loose. The room was not as clean as we expected
- 5/5
We were welcomed with enthusiasm and politeness. All the staff we spoke with were really nice and helpful. I would recommend this place for anyone staying near downtown Austin and I will definitely stay here again.
- 5/5
Very Clean and very professinal staff
- 1/5
Shower did not drain. I told front desk 2nd day nothing was done. Tub overall looked old n dirty needs to be replaced. Towels were not white too many dark spots n dark stains they needs to be thrown out!! Staff was nice!
- 3/5
Bed was great. Food was okay.
- 5/5
Love
- 3/5
On the first night, there was a big group of guests having a party with alcohol at the tables near the lobby since 4pm. The party kept on going until 3am some idiot activated the fire alarm. Everybody had to get out of bed and out of the hotel. It took almost 30 minutes for the people in charge to stop the alarm. I dont know if the hotel lets you drink alcohol out of your room but they just did whatever they wanted.
- 5/5
Everything was great! The breakfast was really good!
- 5/5
Room clean, comfy, staff friendly, helpful. Aside from the pool being closed for maintenance it was a great stay. Huge thank you to Mark
- 5/5
From the time I walked in, the staff went out of their way to meet my needs and make me feel welcome. The hotel and my room were clean and attractive. The morning buffet was excellent, complete with a grill with my food cooked to order. 5 stars!
- 5/5
Overall clean. Sofa bed mattress was very thin and it was dirty under the mattress. Front staff when checking out was friendly. I liked that there was water at the front entrance
- 4/5
The room was comfortable, but bathroom was a bit small. We also had to plug everything back in when we checked in because it was all unplugged. Otherwise, the room was clean and we enjoyed our visit!
- 3/5
Only one elevator worked. Room never got cleaned or trash picked up, probably because of the elevator problem.
- 4/5
We had a great stay at the Embassy Suites in Austin—clean rooms, friendly staff, and the made-to-order breakfast was a definite highlight. Unfortunately, the pool was out of order during our visit, which was a big disappointment, especially since we were really looking forward to it. Still a solid experience overall, but we wish we could’ve taken a dip!
- 5/5
Staff was friendly and kids loved the indoor pool.
- 3/5
Property was convenient for easy access to event. Hotel needs to improve on mattresses and pillows. Everything else was good.
- 5/5
Amazing as always
- 4/5
Pillows were small. The bed dips (spring mattress). AC didn’t work too well.
- 5/5
Came down for a concert, had a great stay. The rooms were really nice, the staff was helpful and friendly and the breakfast was superb!
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
parking at night was a little concerning , it was dark just outside of the front door area.
- 1/5
Water dripping in the tub and what sounded like in the walls ALL night. AC sounded like a lawn mower that loudly stalled all night. Absolutely no sleep. Front desk could care less.
- 5/5
I liked it
- 4/5
The room was nice and clean. Breakfast and Happy Hour were really good. The staff was professional and friendly. However, the building needs some upgrades. There was only 2/4 working elevators for 10 floors so the waits were long at times. There was also no hot water one of the days we were there. Housekeeping also did not do a great job of restocking things such as towels, toilet paper, coffee cups/items. We had to ask for something daily.
- 4/5
My major criticism is that the pool should be maintained better.
- 4/5
Great stay, big room! Only issue was having to pay for parking which was kinda ridiculous given the fact that the area isn’t so safe to begin with.
- 5/5
The stay was great , room clean , restroom clean, I just wish the fold away sofa bed had more padding to lay on ( felt like a bunch of springs ) other than that, I appreciate your guys service.
- 1/5
Our experience as a family on 7-17-25 with "Embassy Suites by Hilton Austin Central" was terrible, DO NOT GO THERE. The bedding is old, the furniture is ancient and worn out, the bathroom is tiny, and the swimming pool they advertised is not in service. I requested a cancellation and refund of this reservation, and the current manager declined it. We moved to another hotel nearby for the same price with an amazing difference and excellent service. What a nightmare we had with this hotel, especially considering it's a Hilton.
- 5/5
Nice
- 3/5
Pool was one of the reason I booked and it was closed down.
- 5/5
Very Nice .great service and food

A charge for parking of $17.00 in an unpaved lot with no notice before checkin? Unheard of - I have never had to pay for parking ever in any hotel in my life. There are snotty slime dripping out of the bath faucet. Happy hour with goldfish and chex mix for snacks. No shower cap in a shower only room. The bed was the only thing I felt like touching with clean white sheets. Hotels need a serious overall or even better a tear down.

This property is fine. I don’t have any real complaints. My only concern was it said each room had a balcony. The balcony is not a traditional outside balcony. It’s the indoor balcony that the embassy is known for. My balcony happen to be facing a wall, which I didn’t care for.

Nice and clean

Wasn’t the cleanest or nicest Embassy Suites I’ve stayed in. My kids were really bummed there was no Koi pond. Breakfast was good and what I expect to see from an ES.

My only issues were the shower water constantly dripping, the tub drained so slow our first night (which was addressed fast by staff), the toilet was wobbly, and the pillows were the worst pillows I have ever used.

Excellent and cleanest room and friendly staff and good breakfast!

We were only about 10 - 13 mins from downtown and a shopping center right behind the hotel. Target right there! Very clean! Staff were amazing! Breakfast, happy hour and all the amenities were great! We will definitely come back!

Great stay for family of 6 with separate spaces. Indoor pool and breakfast were a plus for amenities.

this is always a great hotel. The breakfast is really good and the rooms are pretty big.

Obvious repair work that was never painted over in the shower ceiling, bathroom faucet leaking. I found a fingernail (or toenail, idk) on the couch. There were no trash bags in any of the bins. There was no conditioner in the eco friendly refillable bottle in the shower. It seemed like a slap in the face to have a sign next to the bed encouraging people to tip their housekeeper. The bed was okay, not as soft as other hotel beds I’ve tried but still okay. It was a king bed and we were given standard size pillows but that’s the least of the problems here. Staff was very friendly.

The property was outstanding and the service was absolutely fabulous. I highly recommend this hotel.

Staff was great, offered happy hour which allowed you to sit and relax for at least an hour on a hot and up and down day

Very nice area! & very clean hotel!

Our room didn't have hot water or hot enough. The shower when turned to full hot was barely room temperature, or maybe less. There is a panel in the ceiling of the bathroom that was hanging down loose and looked like it could fall down at any second. And on top of that the price for parking in the location we were in and with no security provided is ridiculous.

I love Embassy Suites. Always top notch

Over all it was a great stay. We loved the rooms. Very spacious and clean. Breakfast was very nice with live omlet station. Staff was friendly.

Hotel was nice. Room was clean although I smelled a bit of a musky smell when we entered. Included breakfast was good. We didn’t get to experience the happy hour though. Lobby was very inviting. Overall, great stay.

I stayed with 4 of my grandkids and everyone was so wonderful . They loved the pool even though it was cold

This hotel was amazing! Easy check in, nice hotel staff, very accommodating! Great breakfast buffet plus the omelet station was awesome! For a hotel that was built in 1982 the up keep is amazing. Only two working elevators but not a problem! Room was clean and huge for what you pay for! Nice atmosphere. Note you do have to pay for parking and it was $17 a night for our stay. Hotel was perfect distance from all the great spots in Austin! Pool was icy cold and hot tube was perfect warm temp! Love their gym and equipment was in very good condition!

Was ok

My only complaint is the size of the restroom.

Two of the elevators were broken down. The pool was cloudy so I didn’t use it. Breakfast was great. The fresh omelette was flavorful.

Clean the place up. Little pride by employees

The shower tub on floor as it starts to go up to side was stained from maybee being cleaned to much and is old or hasn’t been cleaned well.
