Everything was great honestly... Only issue was there was only 1 ice machine and it didnt work.

The room and the hotel itself is clean and quiet. A lot of parking spaces. Very nice. We had a great stay.

Could’ve been better. The backdoors don’t work. You are forced to use the front door in the night as well. AC doesn’t work either. It’s mid.

The facility was clean and a good location to downtown. The staff was friendly and efficient. The breakfast was good and the staff kept the area clean. I didn't use the pool, but the area around the pool was nice for relaxing. My expectations were met for my 1 night stay with my husband. I could always use more towels, but we had an adequate amount of towels.

I had an emergency and the manager was so accommodating and took a call after hours. I believe his name is Brryan at the front desk was very very helpful. He went above and beyond what needed to happen. The property was clean. Breakfast was amazing and a complementary coffee and tea was very nice to have. I would definitely stay here again.

During the night you saw so much homeless people and crack heads walking. At one point, we heard arguing and a commotion and people run. The next day I chose to check out. Rooms felt dirty and smelled dirty. I ended up getting a rash from that one night.

Breakfast was standard for being included in the price. Not great but OK. Scrambled eggs are never perfect at hotels but these were actually OK. The treadmill in the gym needs its security button fixed. It wasn't clear to me from the website that the pool is an outdoor pool and was closed , perhaps because the weather was chilly.

Very comfortable beds, nice staff, always willing to help. I also loved the pool (although it was closed because of the weather), but the area nearby is very good to relax after a working day. Breakfasts were fine. I also absolutely loved the tea/coffee machine in the lobby, so you can have as much drinks as you want. Nothing really, it's what you expect to have at an affordable chain hotel.

In-room phone was broken. Bathroom lighting was so dim as to be unable to see while in shower. Elevator was broken. Power outlet by bed was broken and unable to charge phone overnight.

Clean room. Helpful Front Desk. Good Breakfast. We only had one issue -- we were staying in a room overlooking the lobby. Two guys came back to the hotel at 2:30 AM and carried on a loud conversation until around 3:00 AM. It would start up and then die down and then start back up. Happily, as I was getting ready to go down to ask them lower their voices, they apparently went to their rooms or left. They were not yelling -- just talking very loudly, and I think that our room position made it worse, so beware if you have an "_01" number. Otherwise, it was a perfectly good stay.

Let’s see the ice machine did not work on either floor, so there was no ice. It was the loudest motel I’ve ever been in and I ended up having to get up and switched motels for tonight. They had a group of constructions workers out until late and then slamming doors and doing all kinds of things from like 6 to 8. Front desk was rude as hell and I tried it because it looked from the outside like a nicer hotel. Once you get to the inside, things are definitely run over and there does not seem to be any organization at the front whatsoever. When I asked to leave they said I would not get any sort of refund at all these kind of chains who put low paying people in there and wonder why their business is flop.

Summary What I needed ! going to the SXSW festival solo. Clean and affordable is the most important. BONUS: The daily breakfast was GREAT * the bonus and needed for business conference attendees who have zero time to eat most of the day! *great but I wish if it went to 10 am daily or needs to be clear as it upset some people. STAFF made a difference - Renee shout out check out and james night shift made it nice warm and safe coming home odd hours. Breakfast confusion - just remember it’s 9 am only weekdays. Bathtub: the place was CLEAN nothing gross but my drain slightly was not draining completely but nothing to complain about. Hallway morning noise - *this is not in control of the property- Daily crying baby or singing kid in the hallways 6 am. No disturbance at least after midnight. I wonder if there can be a family wing somehow. That’s me empathizing too with traveling with a kids.

The shower was awesome; super clean, instant hot water, lots of pressure. The next time we are back for a tournament we will definitely stay here. The free WiFi didn’t seem to work. But we didn’t spend much time in the room so it wasn’t a big deal. We showered, went to bed each night. Got up, had breakfast and left. The room didn’t have a security safe; would have liked one to store valuables. We ended up taking our valuables with us.

Also didn’t have a half day on fee since I got to the hotel late that night. Still had to pay for a whole day even though I got there closer to 1am!

Elevator closed to my room wasn't working so I had to hike to the second one. If you are in a room that overlooks the foyer you will easily hear loud people downstairs. Pretty good breakfast buffet. Room was in good shape, but given the noise level I'm not sure about coming back.

My check in with Best Western representative was very nice and pleasant. Later, I asked for additional towels with no issues. The process at tops was no more than 5 minutes. The parking was well surveillance and lit with lights. No dim spots at all and i felt very safe.

The area looks sketch but it honestly was really safe, I had no issues thankfully with the surrounding areas.

Overall the staff was great and pleasant. Concerns I had were things like my door having almost an inch gap underneath considering I take many zoom calls for my line of work. The Baymont next door attracts some rather sketchy characters resulting in a police showdown my first night. Not to mention the homeless issue is insane.

I would definitely stay at this hotel again. No problems parking, checking in or out, friendly staff.

The breakfast was everything you would want in a typical American breakfast: eggs, potatoes, sausage, cereals, bagels, bread, waffles, yogurt, great coffee, 3 different juices, a toaster and accessories for toast! Very friendly staff and very clean.

The staff was nice and the breakfast and free coffee was good. The floors on our floor had spilled food by the elevator that was there for the 2 days we were. The gas station and apartments next door were a crime scene swarming with police the day we arrived so we didn’t feel especially safe outside.

Would not recommend if you care about your safety. In the middle of my stay the hotel staff gave another guest access to my room. I was in the middle of changing and random guests were able to scan into my room because the man at the hotel front desk double booked the room somehow. Never heard of this happening I don’t know how you can give access when someone has already been staying there

Our stay was great.

Room was tiny. Hole on the roof panels. The facility looks good from the outside but the room needs a remodeling. The shower tub is absurdly small that I can't even turn around without rubbing my shoulder on the wall, and I am not a big guy by any means. Only good thing about this stay was the coffee machine at breakfast. Also, even of you book the pet friendly room, there is still a pet fee for 20 dollars per pet per night.

When I visit Austin, this has become my go to hotel. Always consistent with great customer service and a decent breakfast. Centrally located and close to downtown and Round Rock area.

I booked this room for my son who is few days younger than 21. Apparently I was unaware of the funny policy that persons younger than 21 needs to be accompanied by an older adult for check-in. This was not communicated properly and he ran to issues during check-in.

This hotel was centrally located for the things we needed to do i in Austin. Close to good restaurants, the Moody Center for a concert and some light shopping. The staff was very courteous and the hotel was very clean. Will definitely come again when in this area!

Had a great three day stay in Austin. The hotel is centrally located and easy to get any part of town. There’s some great restaurants around and the hotel was very accommodating with any issues or concerns we had. Would definitely stay again.

Our electricity went out and we needed a hotel for 3 days while they repaired. Best Western room was perfect. They had a good breakfast. Happy with our stay.

For the price, the hotel and staff are good, comfortable bed and convenient a mini fridge and microwave are a plus. Good central location from plenty of retailers and not too far from downtown Austin. However, the hotel is located in an older part of town and the motel across the way seems to have some questionable guests.

The room door didn’t lock properly, and even after reporting it to the front desk, no one came to fix it. There were no visible security personnel on-site, and the front desk staff didn’t seem to take safety seriously. I heard loud arguments and suspicious activity throughout the night, making it impossible to sleep peacefully. The overall cleanliness and maintenance of the property were terrible – broken locks, stained linens, and dirty hallways. This place is definitely not worth the money and should not be listed as a safe option for travelers. I would strongly advise anyone, especially families or solo travelers, to avoid this hotel. There are far better and safer options in Austin.

This property was awful very dirty, smelled of cigarettes and I felt very unsafe. The front desk girl said she would refund for my one night stay but did not. The elevator’s didn’t work and they put me in a room that was next to the pool area and every time people walked in and out from the pool area the door would slam and wake me up all night long.. it’s one of the worst places I ever stayed. Zero stars and shame on best western for having a property like this and charging people even tho I got no sleep and it was disgusting. I will be going on social media and giving them a terrible review… shame on you Best Western

Went to this hotel with our children for UIL state plays, our relatives picked it out and we couldnt be more pleased great service great hotel will stay again when in Austin

We went to Austin for UIL championships, we picked a hotel that was near the venue, and pet friemdly, Best Western had friendly staff, were able to check in early and our pet loved it too!! will definitely go back if we're in Austin again

We are repeat visitors to this hotel when in Austin. Service is fantastic! Staff always helpful regardless of the hour. Breakfast great! Room very clean and housekeeping helpful for extra towels.

Terrific staff. Hotel reasonable. Didn't pay a ton of money so I didn't have super high expectations. I'd stay there again without question.

Good place for us to stay with our 11 year old daughter when traveling

It’s adequate for an overnight. We were comfortable. Everything worked except the TV. They have a pool and complimentary happy hour if that’s your desire. Parking is a ways from the lobby. Free breakfast is just okay, coffee was a plus. Good value for the cost.

I booked with the king bed, but getting the queen instead and I had to go to front desk to ask for toilet paper because the room almost ran out.

Hotel is great. Friendly staff, room was comfortable and breakfast was really good.

Check in was fine, no issues. Room was fine no issues. Condition of hotel seems to be very old, however our room seemed to have some updates. Hated the small shower. Hated the small nugget pillows, very uncomfortable. The clientele that was there during our stay makes you feel uncomfortable. Neighborhood was not good. We won’t stay again.

Grateful to have found a nice, safe, and pet friendly place to stay for the night! Also glad it was close to downtown.

The shower design is awkward and inconvenient

The walls were a little thin so you could hear the rooms next to you so beware of that before booking. Otherwise, the location is great and so close to the city

Like the hotel. Except the restroom. Restroom had no vanity to place toothbrush or clothes when took a shower. No door on shower only 1 curtain so all water would go out to the floor and get all floor wet, small little shampoo and conditioner. Comfortable beds and pillows. Really go breakfast. Nice and friendly employes.

I am so grateful this hotel has accommodations for me and my dog. I just wish my big boy had a little more room to walk around. Otherwise the service is excellent and the room is quiet and everything works. The only other bad news I have to tell about is that a vintage radio was stolen from my car; although it was in site of a security camera less that 20 feet away. I guess I forgot to lock my car doors after being here 5 days. My loss makes me sad!

Very friendly staff;

The hotel was old and run down. But my main concern was Hotels.com. I tried several times to modify my booking but the server seemed to always be down. You could definitely book another room but when you tried to cancel or modify, no such luck. For it to happen two days in a row every time I tried to modify seems a little odd like they didn’t care to let you modify your trip. I’ve used Hotels.com for years but it seems to be getting worse over time. I’ll find a different way to book from now on.
