Reviews
Guests generally have a positive experience at the hotel, appreciating the cleanliness, comfortable beds, and friendly staff. However, some inconsistencies in service and amenities are noted, such as issues with hot water, breakfast quality, and room cleaning.
- Friendly and professional staff
- Clean and comfortable rooms
- Inconsistent hot water supply
- Breakfast quality varies
- 3/5
There was some kind of debris inside the coffee maker so I didn’t use it. AC was loud. Room is a bit outdated. Coffee and tea service in the lobby was nice. Free breakfast was also a plus.

We have enjoyed our stay…

The breakfast needs to be more kid friendly. Needs cereal and waffles. The pool wasn’t available.

Overal not bad, but not 5 star
- 2/5
The breakfast was good. The location was perfect. Pool was unavailable. "Under construction" Booking was not as advertised. Only 1 pull out sofa not 2 like the listing said! No door or privacy to king size bed partition. Toilet broke and we couldn't flush it the entire time we were there and staff never told us it couldn't be fixed nor did they fix it. When I asked for a discount I found out they were charging me $10/day to park at the hotel!!! This was never told to me when I picked up my room key that I'd be charged for parking. Their discount was me not paying for parking which is bs. They only took $40 off. I was rooming with my 3 autistic children and having to stick your hand in the toilet and manually flush it the entire weekend was not fun.

Location was good, Addison is a cute gem. The staff was immensely helpful, kind & always courteous and professional.

You should not be part of a sports tournament stay and play without functioning washer and dryers! They’re crucial for ease of guest during these events

When checking in, we were given our keys and that was it. No information from staff on where room was, what floor we would be on, what entrances were available, no direction. No information given on anything really. Room layout was awkward, with bed and TV cabinet.

The rooms were clean but they have a strange configuration. It’s a very nice hotel overall. The breakfast is a bit disappointing as the eggs were not good and there was no protein option with the eggs.

Staff was incredibly friendly, supportive and guests oriented; especially the young lady who was staffing the front desk and checked me in. Property is in a great and seemingly safe location, and was clean outside and inside. Hallways and room were quiet and clean, bed was comfortable, and shower was hot.

Wonderful place!

Everything was great

This was a very nice and reasonably priced hotel in an expensive area. Front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. I was able to make use of the available computer and printer to handle some documents I needed. Overall, a great experience!

It’s a beautiful hotel, it was near a lot of stuff . The staff was friendly . The suites are made weird, had to turn the tv to one side to watch it sharing it amongst others, I didn’t like the fact that they threw $10 parking in there a day instead of including that in everything else. My hot water went out and my air wasn’t getting cool but they came fixed it immediately. Overall I wouldn’t stay again .

room was just ok. The tub wasn’t very clean. The bed wasn’t that comfortable and room was dark, not very much light.

Clean comfy stay. Close to restaurants and nightlife but quiet.

Good hotel. Nice staff

Muy buenas y cómodas las habitaciones

Stayed here for a couple of days. The staff I interacted with were all nice and pleasant, the facilities were good and well-kept. They don’t tell you until check-in, but it is $10 per day to park in the parking lot.
- 0.5/5
Breakfast was decent with eggs or cereal and juice, coffee etc The staff at front desk is rude and unfriendly. During my stay i lost a electronics grooming bag in the room which i last used in the room and therefore i called in to enquire about it. The front desk sounded reluctant and initially told me they need to wait for the manager to come in next day. Thats ok i thought and waited patiently. Next day there was no reply from the hotel. So I called back and this time another person at front desk said they need to check lost & found and will update me back whether they found the item or not. Hours went by but nobody called back so i called in again and this time i was told a colleage called me and left a message. This is blatant lie because i was at my phone waiting eagerly and never received any response back via text or call from the hotel staff in 3-4 hours that i waited. Upon mentioning this, the front desk seemed uncaring and replied plainly we didnt find anything. I thanked them for looking yet the staff sounded indifferent and hung up the call immediately. The whole interaction makes me wonder if they really put effort to locate my missing bag. Being in a corporate area and a Marriot hotel i expected much higher hospitality from the staff and not be so complacent in their behavior with guests. I feel it's better staying elsewhere during my next travel.

The staff was absolutely wonderful and check in was a breeze! The room is a gem., low prices with extremely clean rooms and space! It definitely prompted me to leave a review! I will stay here every time in Dallas.

Stayed here three times now and each time has been pleasant.

Nice staff and clean room
- 5/5
Ok
- 2/5
This hotel seems to be in a vey bad neighborhood with high crime and homelessness. I felt very unsafe in the parking lot, and they must buzz you in at night to keep the homeless out of the hotel itself. I will not stay here again.
- 5/5
This was a nice place to stay. Very clean, comfy beds and everything we needed for a pleasant stay.
- 1/5
Not a safe neighborhood. My tailgate lights were stolen. What makes it more intriguing was the fact that My truck was parked right in front of the lobby. There’s also no cameras outside the hotel
- 3/5
Hotel was very clean and in a very good idea. Beds were comfortable. Check in was easy. The only complain I had was being charged for parking. There was no mention of this when checking in. Maybe I missed some fine print somewhere, but being charged to park where there was plenty of open parking spaces, seems excessive. Think I would skip this one next time

It was a perfect stay. Staff was friends. Rooms were super nice. Will book again

- 3/5
The parking lot have very low lights and the first night the door would not lock.😡😡😡
- 5/5
The room was nice, and the staff was helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, clean rooms, great location.
- 5/5
My room was fantastic it was near lots of shopping and breakfast was clean and nice.
- 4/5
Front desk staff and breakfast staff were great, but room was slightly lacking. There was food or something on couch and ottoman, and toilet tissue, nose tissue box and shampoo levels were extremely low.
- 3/5
The only ice machine that was working was the one on the first floor. I went to all four of the other floors looking for ice before I found that one working. The light on the smoke detector is very bright and bothersome at night for sleeping. Otherwise, it was fine.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
My only complaint was that the beds should be replaced. They were not comfortable and noisy with just the slightest movement.
- 5/5
Great place!
- 5/5
The staff was excellent and very helpful. Can't wait to book again
- 4/5
wonderful place and the staff is amazing! really enjoyed my stay
- 3/5
Room was dated, bathroom felt like a public bathroom. AC was inconveniently placed right next to bed so it was blowing in my face all night. Couldn’t turn it off because my son sleeping in the pull out couch would get warm. Room listed was a one bedroom but wasn’t, living area was partially blocked but not separate. Would not have booked if I had known. Breakfast was decent, $10 charge for parking. Would not return or recommend.
- 5/5
Friendly staff and nice property. Enjoyed my stay here. Would stay again.
- 5/5

THE RECEPTIONISTS WERE AWESOME THIS WEEKEND

- 5/5
Great choice
- 5/5
Clean, spacious rooms. Perfect for my family!!
- 3/5
It was ok. Room was kinda small. Pool was not in great shape. When we were packing up we found an old used condom under the bed. So that was pretty awful.
- 4/5
Website is look queen bed around 435 ft,actually thebed is full size, very small room
- 3/5
The staff was amazing, very nice and helpful. There was a lot of close dining and shopping options. You were close enough to all the major highways making travel an ease. Our room was small compared to most Springhill Suites. It is definitely and older hotel with some funky odors in the hallways, but not in the rooms. The pool and pool area are pretty small, so don't book the room for the pool. There were several treadmills and ellipticals; however, only 3 were in working order. The workout area was kept clean. Our TV remote didn't work even after replacing the batteries. Overall the stay was okay, but the staff is the real winners of this hotel. They were so amazing that I didn't complain about the inadequacies of the hotel. Jayna, Janai (I can't remember exactly how to spell her name) at the front desk (from New York) is a keeper, so sweet and positive!!
- 3/5
To soft mattresses. Cheap toilet paper. Room looked much bigger online than in person
- 4/5
The hotel was clean and in a decent part of town. The staff was friendly. However, I was disappointed in the parking fee. $20 for self-parking seems a little excessive for a Springhill Suites in the suburbs.
- 5/5
Clean and friendly staff
- 2/5
Front desk was super friendly, hotel wasn’t very clean, room was very outdated and could have been cleaner, bed wasn’t very comfortable.
- 5/5
The staff was super friendly and hotel was very clean and well maintained. Breakfast was also great!!!
- 3/5
Customer service was horrible here, specifically the employee, Bliss. He was condescending and extremely rude. Then when I said something to him about his attitude and asked for the manager’s information, he all the sudden became a good employee asking me about my trip. You need to improve your customer service GREATLY.
- 4/5
Kind staff, clean room. Good coffee.
- 2/5
No running hot water in the vanity. Cleaning scheduled but not done. Breakfast was mediocre.
- 3/5
I travel with a developmental disabled adult… not much for folks like my som
- 3/5
I liked how the AC was controlled by a thermostat, the breakfast was wonderful also. I did not like how the beds were so small and the tv remote made it very difficult to use the tv, and the pool looked a lot bigger than what it really was.
- 5/5
Great location and nice and clean room
- 1/5
It’s pathetic and smelly, I left the hotel in 20 mins after checkin.
- 4/5
It was a good stay however, be sure to check if they clean the room daily as a hotel service. SInce they have long stays, the people that only is there for two or three days, may not get the room cleaned
- 5/5
Great place to stay
- 5/5
Amazing stay would recommend to anyone
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 5/5
Quiet, clean
- 4/5
I would ad that they promote the rewards program upfront & listen to the customer as I had to repeat myself because it was getting busy with one clerk available to assist but two standing there.
- 5/5
Wonderful stay
- 5/5
Rooms need better lighting

Night 2 phone kept ringing middle of night Night 3 had to walk up to 4th floor elevator not working. Night 4 too tired to care anymore.

Sebastian at the front desk found a room dor me even though they were filly booked due to a nearby conference when I called in a panic because the other hotel I had booked was unsafe and infested with roaches! I was traveling alone and didn't know where to go. The staff made sure I got checked in with them and that I had everything I needed. The hotel was perfect and clean and safe. Springhill is the only place I'll stay anytime I travel to Dallas from now on!
- 5/5
The front desk manager was so nice and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a quick stay.
- 3/5
The hotel is nothing special, it's just fine. The property, while generally clean, was outdated and looked tired. It could use updating to give it a fresh look. The elevator was very slow and the doors took a good 20 seconds to fully close and open. The rooms only have lamps placed here and there and this results in dark areas - the closet for example. It was a dark nook where your hanging clothes would go to disappear. Most frustrating of all was that the in-room internet service was not reliable. I tried to connect several times before the sign-up screen finally showed up and I could enter my room number and name. I purchased 3 days of high speed internet service with the intent and need to work during times I was in the room. On day two, the service was out altogether. I told the front desk clerk and she said she was also having problems connecting to their reservation system. This apparently did not result in her making the connection that it could also affect the internet service for guests. I had to leave the hotel and go find a coffee shop where I could connect and work. When I checked out, I noticed that I had been charged for 3 days of internet service and the front desk clerk could not figure out how to credit me for the day the service was unavailable. There are better alternatives nearby and I'll likely be choosing one of those in the future.
- 1/5
There is no regular taxi service in Addison, Texas and the hotel staff wasn't particularly helpful in this regard either. At other places, staff would let me use their Uber app to get a car and I would then just reimbursement. These folks weren't helpful at all. I had to walk a mile and a half in the freezing cold, on the snow covered ground to get to my meeting.
- 1/5
The positives: the staff is very friendly and the location is great. The negatives: the rooms need so much updating. My bed/mattress each visit has been terrible. Absolutely no life left in the mattress. The mini fridge had ice built up inside and froze everything I put in it overnight. The microwave is so tiny it’s hard to get anything in it. The blow dryer -once again- was disgustingly sticky and dirty. On my last visit I turned it in during checkout and the front desk person was as grossed out as me. But this visit I swear I got the same sticky, dirty blow dryer. And the built in shampoo dispenser in the shower was empty so I washed my hair with body wash. Lastly, the Wi-Fi was “upgraded recently “ resulting in an inability to connect without calling their internet tech support who said they connected my cell numbers directly on the back end but service remained poor. I travel a lot for work and try to be positive and flexible but I’m over this Springhill location. Sorry guys.
- 3/5
The hotel itself is nice and the amenities are well kept. The front desk and the staff were helpful. We did opt to get our room cleaned. The front desk let us know that the cleaning service will be done every other day. My wife and I were fine with that. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights. The room never got serviced for a turn down.
- 5/5
It was a great experince
- 5/5
Checking in was easy and the room was clean and comfortable
- 3/5
I asked repeatedly to have the exit door adjusted since it only closed when u pulled it tight which took effort. Never addressed
- 2/5
I questioned re: data charge $4.95? I have my own data that runs fast. Moreover, most of the time I’m out of the room. I was told they’re going to remove it. Until now, it is reflected on my account.
- 4/5
The king mattress was very uncomfortable
- 4/5
The stay was fine, some improvements in room amenities can be done like better toiletries and daily housekeeping
- 4/5
Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and quiet. It’s a friendly and lively place where some aviation students live, and people stay there to attend different events like sports games or weddings. It’s clean, amazing staff, and the area is beautiful. The layout of the room was very strange and a bit hard to get used to, but the bed was comfortable and everything in the restroom worked perfectly. We’d definitely stay there again.
- 5/5
Carpets look old and feel dirty.
- 5/5
Great Hotel
- 5/5
Only stayed overnight night but the room was updated, clean and loved that check out was at Noon.
- 5/5
Great location!!!!
- 4/5
Short stay. Accomodating staff. Very chill hotel. Big room and exceptionally clean.
- 1/5
Awful experience! It is old, falling apart, bugs and has a stench! The AC bangs and cracks and I felt like someone was going to come in my room at anytime!
- 4/5
Site says Parking available, no mention of a fee. So imagine my surprise when I was told that there was a $10.00 parking fee per day.
- 4/5
Overall nice stay. Rooms could use a deep carpet clean
- 4/5
Our first room had few things that were not working properly, such as lighting, hot water, water pressure and the phone. We had to use our cell phones to contact the front desk for any issues. I was also surprised to see that the breakfast did not have much healthy options. When you hear of Marriott, you think of upper class. I remember many years ago, they used to have healthy options with spinach, etc. I hope they do take care of all the maintenance, fix the phones and hot water issues, especially on the 5th floor, and offer a breakfast with more healthy options.
- 5/5
Cristelle had such a welcoming smile every time we walked in to the lobby. What a precious young lady, who truly cares about customer service as well as those she works with. Thank you for a great stay.
- 5/5
Just needed a get away just me and my girlfriend
- 5/5
Was quiet, clean, roomy, and comfortable.
- 3/5
We came to town to visit Spa Castle. For the most part our experience was great. However, my mother and I were traveling together. You'd think that us sharing a king room wouldn't be an issue, and it wasn't. Until my mother's IBS kicked in and we realized there was no exhaust fan in the restroom. Thank goodness I was able to get our 3rd floor window open the 3 inches they allow. lol We are also on a low sugar diet; my mother is a diabetic. So, we had to make a Walmart run for sugar free jelly/syrup. Thank goodness it was rite down the road.
- 5/5

- 3/5
TV needs update, picture distorted, poor Maid service not performed over 2 night stay, incl no fresh towels or at least refill of coffee
- 5/5
The staff was friendly, Crystal made checking in easy and efficient, the rooms were clean and spacious; the location is convenient
- 3/5
I didnt see the part about $10 parking while booking.
- 5/5
Great location, close to everything in Addison. The room was spacious, clean and quiet.
- 5/5
Convenient location to lots of dining options. Property was clean as well as the room, bed was comfy. Nice hotel for a quick trip.
- 4/5
I like the comfortability of the hotel rooms in general - the layout is interesting but nice! The bed is not the comfiest...their sheets are weird and don't fit the bed very well. But other than that, it was great.
- 5/5
Shower was extremely hot water only. Other than that was great
- 3/5

- 4/5
First time ever they I pay for parking in a hot eh l where I am staying.
- 4/5
The property was very nice. The security personnel assisted with finding accommodations away from the hotel.
- 5/5
We traveled with children and requested our room to be cleaned each day, and the housekeeping was outstanding. Upon leaving and packing the kids in the car, a gentleman at the front desk came outside to remind us we forgot our flowers. So kind! We are using SpringHill as our annual visit from Florida to Dallas until we move to the DFW area! Thank you for the hospitality!
- 5/5
Room was already cold and comfortable when we walked in, clean and unique setup.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 3/5
Good hotel building in a good area. But a few things that were all great. The beds seem comfortable at first but im not sure if it the material but became uncomfortable. Theyre also only full sized beds, really small for two adults. The TV could be positioned better than just on a small table. The AC blew cold but didnt really reach the whole room. The breakfast was very mediocre. Very few choices. Could be improved, but over all a good propety in a nice area.
- 5/5
Friendly staff very prompt. Would highly recommend this hotel. Central location. Just love the staff
- 5/5
All areas were kept neat and clean. If there was an area that neesed attention and you mentioned it to staff, they responded immediately. Any staff member I encountered was courteous and made me feel special. I will definutely return.
- 5/5
Clean room, very comfortable and accommodating. My check-in was friendly and helpful. I will visit again.
- 2/5
Stay was good but went down at 8:15 am to eat breakfast and hot fresh food was out. I am diabetic so I needed good food and it was out. I was waiting for new food to come out and they said it was out for the morning. Very frustrated about that as I had to go spend $65 on breakfast for the family and that is one of the reasons I stayed at this hotel.
- 5/5
I do not mind paying a lot of money for a hotel based on location, however when the bathtub does not drain it is a little more than disappointing.
- 3/5
The breakfast is ok, included. Just the room has odor make me uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Everything about this location was awesome. The staff were courteous and easy to talk to. Made everything a breeze.
- 5/5
Everything was clean. The staff was very attentive and friendly. We loved the complimentary breakfast.
- 4/5
It was clean , great staff and good breakfast.
