Nice clean basic hotel. Fantastic setting with mountains behind. Great value for money. 6or7 minute taxi ride into Zakopone town. Better instructions to check in and out could have been better. Breakfast overpriced for the selection offered.

Breakfast was really good, the room wasn’t special, but comfortable. Parking accessible. The price was the best and what made it the best part of it. The receptionist Tatiana was really friendly, helpful and tried to make everything better for us. The hotel is conjugated with a restaurant, that, apart from having good food, the service wasn’t good and the staff is really unfriendly and not super competent. When we arrived, nobody new anything about us - the receptionist didn’t give us any instructions, and the people in the restaurant knew anything about how it works with the guests apparently, so we just ended up paying 55 euros for a meal, after having already paid for the half pension. In the first days, we could choose anything in the menu for our half-pension dinner (apart from the steak), the food was really good and we liked it. And then, suddenly and without any explanation, they changed for a ridiculous menu printed on a paper, with bad spelling english without descriptions in english of the dishes. To us, it was clearly a downgrade, but they didn’t give any explanation or excuse. Compared with the food from the menu we had in the previous days, it was clearly much lower in quality. Also, we had the feeling that everytime we were in the restaurant they treated us like a second class compared to the normal guests of the restaurants, like making us wait super long for everything and served other guests much faster and with much more care. Thanks to the girl from the reception, Tatiana, the meal we falsely paid for on the first day was given back to us as a free meal in the end of the week. The spa is only for one group of people at a time, so it’s necessary to book it beforehand. We did the reservation for the spa 2 days before our check im, so our slots there were at 21h and, at this time, the jacuzzi was always dirty.

Quite clean There is no one at the reception, you can not even get into the building, no one comes when you press call button, you have to wait a looong time. Spa was already booked upon checkin therefore unavailable. Very thin walls and directly in front of the room we were given was a child corner so we were woken up by children screaming constantly.

Location Nothing was as it should have been. Dirty room, broken furniture, worn out, dirty, lumpy mattress - as it looks in the attached photo - covered only with the normal sheet - and that old and worn one - and you couldn't sleep on it. Very poor food - both at breakfast and dinner - and those of us who had half board were crowded at a few tables, without having a reserved table - as would have been normal. The room was not cleaned by the villa staff while we stayed and we were not asked by anyone if we needed anything. We had a reservation for 5 nights but left early for the reasons shown above.

Offer of spa & sauna Breakfast was not worth price charged. All food was cold not even warm, and not much choice for the price. Language barriers didn't help.

In general, everything was good. Good location, nice view. There is a kitchen with everything you need. I would recommend the place for others. Breakfast - need more variety. Coffee machine is standing behind food, so you need to reach over, and everything drops on top of the food. It's not very hygienic. Need to go and ask for clean towels. The reception staff do not speak English, which is strange in a city full of tourists. But it's not a big problem because other people working in the restaurant (which is in the same building) speak English so they helped to solve this problem.

The SPA was fully booked by the time we arrived at 7 pm, so couldn't use it, though it was included in the price.

We only enjoyed the beautiful nature Please be careful when staying in this villa and in Zakopane, especially if you are foreign tourists, because local people are not very honest and willing to help: - At the reception, be careful when paying extra fee, because we were overcharged for one more night (we payed for 3 nights instead of 2). The receptionist insisted to pay in cash and didn’t give any receipt. We were also overcharged at the local restaurant nearby and at the national park of Tatra. - We took breakfast for additional cost 15zl per person. Only cold dishes were served, very small variety of food. Only during the second breakfast we were offered to have a hot meal, and it was after we finished eating. Restaurant staff hardly speaks english. - If you will consider having a private spa / sauna, please keep in mind that this spa is not so private, as there is a surveillance camera staring right in front of you. Kind of creepy… - Overall, hotel rooms were decent, just please clean under the bed and sofa every once in a while, because there is a mountain of dust… :(
