Willa Joanna

Very welcoming owner, neet room with comfy bed. Excellent breakfast for different taste buds. Very quiet place as well sourrounding. Close to mountain trails. There was a problem with sewerage which caused smell in bathroom and room. As weather wasn't that warm, was quite cold in room and towel after shower took a while to dry.

Our room was nicer and bigger than we thought, very cozy. We could even see a bit of the mountains from the toilet window. :) It was nice that we received small chocolates and water upon arrival. There were small empty baskets on the shelves that you could put things in, so this was also a thoughtful thing on the part of the host. The location is very good, close to the city center and Tatrzański Park Narodowy on foot. There are a few restaurants nearby (we recommend Pizza Regina), shops and a pharmacy. The accommodation itself is cozy, the whole apartment is well-kept and loving. It has soul, I like the equipment. I loved the look of the kitchen, amazingly cozy. The breakfasts are really wonderful, we were at other accommodations during our trip, but Joanna's breakfast is very delicious and varied. I would highlight the egg cream, I had to eat it every day, and the baked goods are also very delicious. On our last day, there was also a coffee machine, not just instant coffee, which I was very happy about. Very cheap accommodation, nice and clean. Our room was dark and cold almost all day. There was a balcony, but since we were cold, we preferred not to sit outside, we love the balcony, so it wasn't a problem. Noise, silence: The bed was quite small for the two of us, although we knew to expect that. We think a 20 cm wider bed would also fit. Also, the bed creaked when turning at night because we woke up. The walking of the people above us was also heard, but otherwise it was quiet at night. The building next door is being renovated, you can hear them working during the day, but it will be finished in time, it will be beautiful. Since we weren't at the accommodation during the day, it didn't bother me. Refrigerator: we also knew we wouldn't get one, on the 2nd day I discovered that there is a common one on the 1st floor. We were very happy that we could at least put away the bottle of Coca Cola. Unfortunately, it was full, it barely fit. Some people do a complete shopping trip, and others can't even fit a half-liter bottle on 1 out of 3 days? This could possibly be indicated to the residents.

Cosy atmosphere and lovely staff. Breakfast is exceptional and plenty. Bathroom a bit tiny upstairs.

We arrived at around 3.10pm, and we rang the bell. The person in charge ( I believe it's Ms Joanna herself ) came and opened the door, and showed us to our room. The room was already heated, with beautiful, minimalist decorations and amazing fleece blanket. The bathroom was super clean and comforting, with hot showers especially after a long day of travelling. The breakfast the next day was exceptional. There was so many varieties, and they all tastes amazing! On the first day, the coffee machine broke , so I was left without my coffee, but Ms Joanna kindly made me a cup just the way I wanted it. It truly felt like home. The next day it snowed heavily and we tried getting a taxi to the train station, but being a public holiday there was none, so Matt, her husband, graciously helped us with our bags and drove us to the train station. This is truly an exceptional property with exceptional hospitality and kindness. We are definitely coming back again when we have the chance and if you are heading to Zakopane, you'll never regret staying here. Thank you Mr Matt and Ms Joanna, we truly loved everything and look forward to stay again. Nothing. Everything was perfect.

Wish there was more than one throw blanket. I got cold at night

Staff was very friendly, I could even check in a bit earlier. The room was clean and just as advertised. Breakfast was served in a beautifully decorated hall. There's a nearby bus stop, downtown is 15 minutes with public transport.

Location is quite nice, close to centrer and buses where you can further go whereever you need and want. Quite silent considering the fact that willa is located close to main street and restorants as well as caffes. Private bathroom and electric ketle in room is very big advantage if you want privacy and do not wast experience and disturbance from others. Additional extra was common fridge and microwave, where its possible to prepare and store own food. And plus is also that, that you can only prepare there food, but not to eat there (only in rooms), which makes this beautiful willa very silent, which is very important to me. Owner Pani Joanna is very nice and tried to help wherever she can. There is nothing special to add. For me, this willa meet my expectations completely.

Nice small balcony with a view Location is quite far from bus station and Krupówki (taxi to bus station around 50 zl)

The property is in a good location, accessible by bus to everywhere around. The room was clean and comfortable and I had a view of the mountain from my window. It was a spectacular experience. The host is so kind and helpful with my every question about the place. I will definitely love to stay there again if I am visiting Zakopane in future.
