Beds were comfy with a very spacious room! Pool is nice but the sky bar is currently being renovated. Still a nice place to stay and right next to the action on Malioboro street!

We stayed there for 3 days with breakfast included. The room was clean and spacious. The rain shower, provision of drinking water facilities, and laundry services were good. The big bed is comfy and exceeded our expectations. The famous Malioboro street can be reached within a 7 to 10-minute walk. Breakfast can have a little more variety and be replenished as soon as possible.

There are a few places to eat near the hotel: a Circle K store within 50 metres, a bakso restaurant and a vegan cafe across the street. Dirty and shabby rooms, non-existent staff. Don't expect a doorman to be present at any time. The hotel seems to cater mainly to village people who may be easily impressed. The hotel only accepts cashless payments. One of the toilets was absolutely filthy and stunk badly. I've attached images below. The carpet in the hallways also stunk of mildew. The bathroom faucets were damaged and badly needed replacing. The drain in one of the showers didn't work properly and so the floor was slippery and wet all of the time. There are no curtains or drapes, only pull down blinds. Horrible. WE WILL NEVER RETURN TO ANY 'IBIS STYLES' PROPERTY EVER AGAIN. Horrible.

Location of the hotel near to Malioboro Street just walks around 7 mins. Hotel staff very friendly and helpful. The room is clean, and breakfast has a lot of variety. The room view from the window I really doesn't like it's facing primary school. The toilet has proved soap dispenser, but I don't like it because it's mixed shower bath and shampoo.. supposed to separately shower bath and shampoo. Luckily, I bring my own.

The staff friendly and helpful . Very attentive and polite all the times. Even the security staff at the entrance. Just need to provide more varieties for the dishes (local food) Rice 1 protein and another side dish not enough . Should have more local dish for tourist like ne to try. The western area maybe need a bit more items like bake beans hash brown and cold meat like chicken ham and some cheese ..bread should also include wholemeal for health conscious traveller like me ... -

The location to Malioboro is about 300 metres. Staff are friendly. The male counter staff on night shift always put on a smile. The power point location are troublesome. No bed side power point. I charged my phone at the electric kettle. The best thing if you came back from shopping at Jl. Malioboro in the afternoon, they had prepared a cold water point free flow. But in the room there are no free mineral. On empty hug for you to refill near the lift landing. Along the road will find lot of Culinary. I've tried few of them & to be honest the taste are lousy. Semarang Simpang Lima Culinary still the best.
