If you ever have the opportunity to stay here, I would highly recommend it. Everyone was helpful, kind, and went the extra mile. Beautiful property, wonderful food, and within walking distance of fun and exciting restaurants, shopping, and events!

It is a good hotel, but it does not meet the standards of a true 5-star property. The breakfast could be significantly improved, and it lacks some of the small luxuries that guests expect at this level, such as candies or chocolates on the pillow, a more readily available concierge service, and a driver/car service for short distances. Other hotels in Los Angeles with similar rates offer these amenities. What was truly unacceptable, however, was an event that lasted until 11:15 p.m. with very loud music, making it impossible to get a proper night’s sleep. Losing a night of rest is not acceptable in a hotel that advertises itself as 5-star. To make matters worse, a staff member informed me that the cost of that night would be credited back to my credit card. I checked out more than two weeks ago, and no refund has been processed. I have also sent multiple emails regarding this issue and have received no response.

I was very happy with my stay until my check out. I had forgotten my wallet in my room and needed to return to my room to retrieve it. Well the front desk person gave me an unworkable key. No ‘ I am sorry for your inconvenience’ . No nothing Just a blank look on his face as if nothing happened at all. That is not proper Customer Service!!

Our stay was great. The rooftop restaurant and bar were amazing. Noise was never an issue in the hallway or outside. Location is great. We would stay there again!

This was my second stay at the hotel, and it lived up to my positive memories. The property was in excellent condition, impeccably clean, and the staff were as warm and welcoming as ever, they recognized me from my last stay here and made me feel as though I was back home. The lobby renovations made the bar more visible and inviting. It was lively on most evenings which added to the atmosphere. I'm already looking forward to my next visit. The restaurant was going through a transition during my stay, hence it had a pretty limited menu. I hope the new menu will offer a wider selection and more vegetarian options. It would also be great to see more evening entertainment on-site. The rooftop area was very quiet at night, especially compared to the more active atmosphere at nearby hotels. That was a fire alarm during one night which led to an evacuation. Although this was caused by another guest and was not the hotel’s responsibility, a gesture of goodwill or compensation would have been appreciated given the disruption to our sleep.

Upscale modern hotel near the sunset strip, away from the chaos of the other touristy parts of LA Wish the minibar fridge had some space for some personal stuff. Instead it was filled with motion sensor activated drinks
