Location was amazing. Room was super clean. And the pool was nice as well. Parking was also very reasonable priced. Elevator seemed old and slow. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of options.

Breakfast had a good assortment of choices. Food was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking garage was convenient.

I really liked the room. It was very comfortable, clean and had a great view of the pool, courtyard. I liked the central location, Two really good restaurants were located withing walking distance. This allowed to enjoy a drink without requiring an uber or taxi. The hotel overlooks Los Angeles and gave me a really cool vibe staying in West Hollywood on the Sunset Blvd. I used a Hop on-Hop off Bus to see the various sites. The bus also stops very close to the hotel. The breakfast was a minimal continental breakfast with no real attention to detail. I was so impressed with the building and location, I expected a little more from the breakfast bar. While I was impressed with a few site seeing locations near the hotel, a couple were disappointing. I expected a little bit of glamour on the nearby Hollywood Blvd. I found none.

The location and hotel over is nice and clean however they need to update/fix broken air conditioning in rooms. The room was really nice but was a big disappointment due to the air conditioning not working. Made several complaints to the staff but there was nothing they could do due to no other rooms being available. Had to leave the sliding door open the whole night and get bit up my mosquitoes to make the room cooler. The only compensation that could be provided was my parking to be refunded. The stay here definitely ruined my birthday trip.

Was able to check in early. Room was nice, great location, good gym. Separate breakfast upstairs as the one on the lower level was too crowded. Food was cold but microwaved heated it quickly.

The room and amenities provided were good. The breakfast was too basic, not very good taste. Worse for the oatmeal and eggs. Also no bellman to help with luggage if you are leaving the hotel before 7am.

I’ve stayed at several BW hotels and this one was the best by far. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. The room was clean and the bathroom was renovated. Will stay there again.

I never know what I'm ranking the overall stay against. The stay was excellent. I slept well, key always worked, property was great. The breakfast was sorta meh, but what I was I expecting? (I ended up walking up to Mel's most mornings.) The danish were fresh, the meats were acceptable, the eggs were hotel eggs. Coffee was good. Decent choice of cereals. Nothing to complain about. Very quiet. Didn't use the pool, but it looked nice. A fine place to stay, decent location on the Sunset Strip. My free bottle of wine perk never made it to my room, and I didn't really follow up because it wasn't that important to me.

The location was fantastic with The Comedy Store literally across the street. The complimentary breakfast was awesome. Will be back soon!

I've stayed at this property numerous times, before, during, and after their recent remodel. The updates to the rooms and property are lovely. During my most recent visit I found the staff, particularly the front desk, to be incredibly hospitable and accommodating, upgrading our room and sending our Expedia VIP complementary bottle of wine to our room without asking. I've already booked our next stay there! Thank you!!

Very strong odor in the hallway leading to the rooms. The carpets need to be either deep cleaned or replaced. The rooms however were spacious and clean.

We loved our stay at this hotel....a lot of amazing things about it. We had one strange issue- our room had a bad smell....I'm gonna say 'barnyard'-ish. We had hoped opening the windows and pumping the AC would take care of it, but it didn't. I mentioned to the front desk who offered to change our room but we had already unpacked and gotten settled and my family didn't want to move. In the future I would absolutely stay here again but would make sure before 'committing' to a room, that it was odour-free! Fantastic property, gorgeous room, in and out privileges for parking....oddly enough, the smell was our only issue.

The most excellent Best Western I have ever stayed at! I think they recently renovated and it shows. Room, staff, breakfast, amenities all lovely. Parking was easy with a garage right underneath the hotel on the quiet back street opposite Sunset. Great location! We felt pretty central to a lot of things. Great eating places within walking distance. The pool area feels like an Italian villa surrounded by beautiful flowers and quiet! Breakfast was great! The gym was nice, only suggestion would be for them to add some free weights and you are all set. Highly recommend!

No fruit plates other than apples, not much variety. Yoghurt and cereals all sweetened ones, not natural Greek yoghurt or better cereals.

It was a decent stay but nothing more than three stars. The location is good and the pool is not bad for getting a few lengths in, so that's great. Breakfast was ample and the ingredients were varied day by day. The room was also very large. I was satisfied but I would probably look elsewhere if I came back to the area.

Stayed one night and we quite enjoyed it. The bed was very comfortable. The room was a fair size in the bathroom was quite large shower was amazing and wonderful water pressure. The breakfast buffet was hot and fresh and had a decent selection underground parking was also available for $35 a night US, but it was very well lit and clean our room overlooked the pool, which was very pretty and lit up at night time as well. I would definitely stay there again. There was no outside noise heard from our room.

Our stay was wonderful. The hotel location was perfect. It is in a safe, walkable and surprisingly quiet area, central to everything in LA. The suite was renovated and looked brand new. Beds, bedding and pillows very comfortable. Suite was large w a large bathroom and nice jetted tub. Pool area was lovely and quiet. Nice spot to relax after a day of sightseeing. Parking garage was clean, convenient and reasonably priced. Breakfast was good and the area was nice and kept clean. I was skeptical staying at a best western, but trust me the brand is misleading. This hotel exceeded my expectations,and for me that does not happen often. Best hotel for the value on the sunset strip!

The recent renovations make this Best Western seem like a great deal for the Sunset Blvd location. The breakfast buffet was decent: eggs, sausage, pastries, yogurt, and fruit. The pool and patio area were beautiful--a great place to hang out in the sun or relax with friends in the evening. As a bonus, the hotel is walking distance from two comedy clubs.

Staff: super friendly and extremely helpful. They recommend a tour & the driver from the tour company was amazing also. Amenities: The recent renovation is fab; the pool area especially. Lovely breakfast. Good tasty food. Great idea to have take away cups, but it was weird eating off a paper plate & having plastic cutlery. The Chop Bar over the road is great, however this hotel is missing a tick not having a bar on site (especially a pool bar). Overall pretty pleased with our stay & would most likely come again!!

The beds were soo comfy, we absolutely loved them. The area was so nice as well, we were going to a show at the comedy club and it was very convenient. Also enjoyed a hike at Runyon Canyon and the breakfast buffet was perfect for us post hike. It would be great to see almond or oatmilk creamer options with the coffee bar though. the shower was nice but we had to call the front desk to figure out how to turn it on. the pool was beautiful but we didn't use it, we would have used a hot tub.

The staff the front desk was very nice, but one of the managers I don’t know was arguing with me for one the breakfast needs to be more organized they only have one breakfast room. We stayed five days and my daughter as soon as we got in there she ordered the waffle. We literally waited over 10 minutes and other people walks in and just get their waffle that is unacceptable. They should take numbers the chairs they have there need to be replaced. They are too big for that small place. You can’t maneuver in that tiny space. you pay way too much money to be crowded around people in a small cafeteria if they were doing. maintenance it should’ve been done before spring break. Second, you request for towels at the end of the day the towels are still not there. You have to call for your room third every time you leave your room you have to put in the Wi-Fi every time. other than that, the room was OK. The ice box was not working properly. The sink got clogged up, but they fixed it the next day promptly they do come very fast.

This was a great room for up to 6 people, still giving us room to spread out. I had 3 teenage boys and 2 adults and we all fit perfectly. I was happy to see a microwave, fridge, and countertop with facet. The bathroom had a jacuzzi size bath tub, didn’t get to use but good to know next time. The shower was great and the bathroom space was spacious as well. The location was great as well, a neutral spot to get to Universal or Hollywood strip. Also close to malls.

Great hotel in the heart of West Hollywood and directly across the street from the World famous comedy store. Room 401 was extremely quiet. Comfortable bed. Good free breakfast. Parking was not that expensive compared to other hotels. This place is a really great option if you wanna check out Hollywood and West Hollywood.

The floor we were on wasn’t accessible. We had to go up several steps from the elevator, then down more steps to get to our room - a drag while schlepping suitcases. The’ve just done a major renovation, which is great, but should have fixed this.

Great, beautiful boutique hotel. Even though it’s a “Best Western”, it feels like it’s not a chain hotel. I highly recommend! Amenities were great and easily accessible. Staff members are helpful and welcoming. I am definitely staying here again.

Great location & staff. Very clean. Nice pool. However many rooms don’t have any natural light as the hotel is next to a hill so the window is basically next to a giant wall. This is not disclosed in the room description although quite a big deal if you stay more than one night (it gets very gloomy to be in the dark all day long in Los Angeles)… The wifi is finicky and you have to type in the password every time you get disconnected. Not ideal to work. Lastly the soundproofing isn’t great. All in all overpriced for what it is.

Spacious room, excellent location When I entered the room (late) I found out that there was blockage in the toilet. The person from the hotel came and handed towards me a plunger. I couldn't believe it - he actually asked me to fix it. I said that I'm shocked that he did, and eventually they have new another room after I demanded it.

As a Hotels.com platinum member was supposed to get a complimentary bottle of wine - confirmed on check-in but had to chase it. Ongoing refurbishment work not really disturbing- but workmen and hotel staff shouting to each other was unnecessary and annoying. WiFi poor. Place is under construction and really shouldn’t be open for business until complete. I’ve stayed here before and it was fine…this time a little chaotic. There was no attempt at dust containment or closing off areas being worked on. Lots of dust and debris.

The rooms were spacious for our family and beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good different options. The waffles were my favorite. The pool was fun but definitely missed the hot tub. Location was pretty close to everything. The parking fees are insane! No hot tub. The elevator button was broken so we had to take the stairs to our room which isn’t terrible but we were carrying a lot of food to our room. Room service had to be requested it isn’t done daily. No trash cans anywhere ended up leaving my trash with the front desk.

I knew there would be some construction during my stay, but I didn’t realize it would be extensive and so close to the lobby. The staff appeared somewhat unprofessional, and the HBO channels that were advertised were not working. Additionally, the door connecting the parking garage to the rooms was often left open, which raised some security concerns.

There is construction going on through the end of January so expect it, there is hammering and sawing between 8 and 5pm. That being said they did offer great discount and we were gone during the day. Beautiful hotel, great location service and breakfast. Like an Italian villa. Loved it!

One worker was waving around a hammer in the air while I had to walk under his ladder. Really not safe AT ALL. It’s a COMPLETE construction site. The hotel should be closed. The rates are the same as they usually are. Lastly, I work nights, which means I need to sleep during the day. Not one hour of sleep as the construction was SO LOUD all day. Started at 8am and they would leave their mess around my room and pile stuff up on my windowsill. Rubble everywhere. So unprofessional and this hotel acts like the guests are the burden during this time. Such a shame and I am genuinely shocked. Never again.

We have stayed here before and really enjoy this hotel and location. Unfortunately, we weren’t told beforehand that the pool was not gonna be usable and there was ongoing construction inside the hotel during the day. It definitely took away from the overall stay.

When we arrived most staff were lovely. We had to park our car on the street as the garage ceilings were so low but they gave us a street pass. When we asked to use the pool we were initially told that hotel was being refurbished as well which turned out to be untrue. We were then told we could use it only that day and also the gym here was totally out of use which was very annoying when we were told it was fine to use beforehand. The room itself was ok, good size, the fridge unfortunately froze everything so our food was mostly ruined. Good location

The room was clean, the breakfast was good. But this didn't matter if you were not able sleep two nights in the row and woke up with a headache. This is what happened to us. The noise outside on the street was unbearable and we were not able to close the window. Because the crank on the windows was broken.

Even though this hotel is very dated it is so beautiful. The woodwork, the fixtures, it all makes you feel like you're staying anong the rich. They are starting renovations so the stairways are messy. Breakfast was delicious with a large variety of food, fruits, and pastries. The room was comfortable with plush pillows.The bathroom was clean and well stocked. The customer service was more than accomodating always pleasant.

As much as I pay they should include it daily with their amenities, I can’t get clean towels daily? - musty smell, no matter how much they try to mask it with perfume, the musty smell is overwhelming - yes, they mentioned they’re in the middle of renovations but to start at 8am in the morning? That is still too early as I was getting ready for the day, so who wants to hear all that noise - cost of parking - broken microwave I booked based on the good reviews but I was incredibly disappointed and relieved when my stay was over

The property location is great. However our displeasure is more to do with Expedia than the hotel. We booked in June and no word was said about comprehensive renovations being carried out. We arrived to a building site. The hotel staff was excellent and I cannot fault them. They had alternatives in place in terms of pool use and were great. Expedia should have informed us of the work

Exactly what we expected for the price

Unfortunately the coffee options in the hotel are just not the same as in Australia, so the very helpful young lady at the front desk was able to point me in the right direction to walk to a great little cafe up the blvd.. and no, it was not Starbucks. Service at the hotel was excellent.

The hotel was fine for the first couple of days, but then renovation work started meaning the pool was out of order and there was considerable noise and dirt everywhere. I understand that renovations need to be done, but my issue is that we were not informed of this when booking or at any time before our arrival.

We stayed just 1 night. The property is great. Only thing that needs improvement is instructions for parking. The hotel is on busy Sunset Blvd with no signage/direction to the parking garage which is around the back. Then once you make 2 turns to get to the back of the building you may miss the sign for the garage depending on the direction you’re traveling. We missed it the 1st and it’s very camouflaged due to back of the building facing houses. Minor inconvenience but still worth noting.

Really enjoyed the stay! My husband and I thought that they could benefit from a hot tub, that would have sealed the deal! 5/5 ⭐️ still! Thank you!

This property is a great lil find in an excellent area. The hotel is small and personable, great views of the city. Rooms are comfy. Free breakfast every morning was a great touch. Loved every moment there and will definitely be back

We were not impressed with this location at all. There was an open dirty soap in the shower. The sofa bed was stained and dirty. The area was not very nice with strip clubs nearby. As my kids said, it looks like the video game GTA. The beds were the worst hotel beds I have ever slept in. They were like sleeping on a thin mat on top of cardboard. We will not stay here again. It was not worth the money paid.

I had a bad experience when water was leaking from the above floor in the bathroom. I was given another bathroom to use immediately and once new room was available, I was moved to the new room. Staff was responsive.

The pool area is enclosed and surprisingly quiet from the street noise adjacent but we were puzzled to why it will be refurbished because it was in good condition and looked great. The facilities are more business oriented as per the chains hotels, but if you want to stay on The Strip this isn’t important The Free Breakfast is akin to a UK Premier Inns if not a bit more basic The rooms did not all have bath and the toilets did not work that great either The rooms were well looked after but not far off refurbishment and looked a little dated in places The standard room facilities were great with Microwave, coffee machine, large fridge and hairdryer, phone charging station and iron and ironing board The pool had free beach towels which were replaced daily The Free WiFI was top notch and super fast The US TV service was ok with some channels suffering from poor snowy signal The housekeeping staff were great at their jobs During our stay a pipe burst in one of the corridors however it was repaired immediately the next day in a sympathetic manner to the customers The staff were friendly and helpful but not too overbearing. Most of the front desk staff were experienced. Overall we were really happy with our 10 night stay here and would stay again

We asked for guidance around town because we had a very short stay and they pushed us to take a three hour tour that wasn’t really what we asked for. We thought about it but didn’t match what we needed and was far too expensive. In the end we had to figure out on our own how to do certain things.

My husband and I were traveling with my sister and brother in law. The pool area is very nice and relaxing. The hotel, inside and out, is very well maintained. The complimentary breakfast is really nice. There are two breakfast rooms with slightly different options.

The notes suited our purposes. It was centrally located to places we wanted to visit. There is an outdoor pool and breakfast is included. Negatives- you have to pay for parking and the spaces are small and very difficult to get into if you have an SUV and the bed sizes are smaller than standard sizes. My queen bed at home is larger than their queen bed. But overall I would stay there again.

ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL! We were in town for a wedding & the day of the wedding, literally when we got back to our room, the toilet in the room above us EXPLODED and leaked all throughout or bathroom & room. SH*T Happens, and literally in this instance it did, but OMG the lack of response, accountability, & willingness to make it right from that moment until now has been nonexistent. It took HOURS before they could finally move us into a different, smaller room, and of course we ended up being late for the wedding. Both NIKKI and CARLOS assured us they would take care of our bill and apologized for the inconvenience with such ease that we believed them, guess what, they didn't remove a single thing from our bill. This stay was so awful I'm pretty sure it's illegal, but what recourse do I have? When I call they put me on hold and no one calls me back or returns my emails. I will NEVER STAY AT A BEST WESTERN AGAIN!

The place smells. The staff were very friendly but there was nothing they can do about the condition of this place.

A and after a tiring day in universal studios we arrive at the hotel expecting it to look just like the photos but instead there is a strong stench smells weird And while we wait in the car we get notified that parking is $30 to park we finally get to the room and plop on the bed but it's so hard the room doesn't even have good lighting we look in the bathroom at least that’s nice but it looks like they invested the $500 on that they provided shampoo, conditioner, and body wash showers were relaxing I couldn't sleep though the pillows were very hard felt like gravel

This property is a hidden gem. It's a historic property with that vintage feel. We stayed on the first floor and had doors that opened up out to the pool. It was stunning.

Walking distance to lots of restaurants, entertainment and $11 uber to the heart of sunset blvd.

Close to everywhere I had to go-walkable. Carpet is due for replacement.

I booked a room for Mother’s Day and loved it so much that I ended extending my stay an extra day because I enjoyed myself so much. We had a great time just lounging by the pool and relaxing in the room and everyone loved the spa like bathroom and if I’m being completely honest I stayed an extra night just so I could enjoy one last bath in the very spacious het bathtub. Staff and managers were all great and had the best customer service. Their complimentary breakfast was an unexpected experience with two breakfast attendees and a variety of food options. Oatmeal, cereal, fruit, croissant, toast, waffle , eggs, potatoes, bacon, sausage, coffee, espresso, juice, paper plates or ceramic all either to enjoy in our rooms or in the breakfast room. I would highly encourage you to book a room. I can’t wait for another weekend getaway.

Great location with very comfortable rooms! Very quiet unless your upstairs neighbor likes to run in the room (yes, it happened). Make sure you take plenty of charging bricks for your devices as there are no USB or USC charging ports in these rooms. Also, if you get a suite with a kitchenette, it is not stocked with anything except a microwave, sink, and a fridge. Bring/buy any utensils, napkins, paper towels, etc that you may need. There is a Ralph’s grocery not too far down the road as well as a CVS, so it’s easy to find those supplies. Overall an incredibly comfortable and wonderful experience here, and we will definitely stay here again! Parking was awesome!

I booked this property based upon the reviews but the first thing people need to know is there is tons of traffic making this property difficult to get to. I would have never booked it considering that. I requested a roll away bed and it was so bad you could feel the wires poking through it so we sent it back (definitely not worth paying $30 per night!) Thankfully they did have a full length couch which my son used to sleep on. The hotel is very old and we only found one electric socket that would hold the electric cord without falling out. Nearly impossible to charge phones for a family of four. Breakfast was okay but I wouldn't say it was great. Multiple things to choose from but wasn't very good food. The sheets did not feel comfortable and the beds were okay but not great. Lots of noise from street traffic all hours of the night. You pay to park but the parking spaces are extremely tight. Overall, my family wishes we did not book this hotel and would have been happier at another hotel.

Only caveats - probably 1/3 of the rooms have no real view due to buildings next door, which was fine with me, I like to darken the room to sleep into the morning. The sink & shower water took a full 2-3 minutes to turn hot, most of the time (may be a temporary issue?). And there are no onsite lunch, dinner or bar options - BUT there are plenty within walking distance, including right across the street. For the price you pay here versus the many other more 'upscale' hotels around there, it is quite the bargain, in my opinion. The many great reviews helped me to choose it. I would definitely stay there again.

You see the location being on sunset so you might think it’s gonna be loud and busy - this hotel is tucked away in the best way but still in such a convenient location. We felt safe, rooms were clean and cozy, staff was so sweet. We had no problems. For this price, BOOK IT! They honestly need to bump up their prices because they deserve it.

Awesome place. Clean and classy. Classic Hollywood vibes. Beautiful pool with flower boxes on the windows facing the pool. It looks like a photograph. Super quiet and relaxing. Room size is bigger than an ordinary double and had an arm chair and table with chairs, extra sink near microwave and fridge. Antique chandeliers in the hallways. Plenty of EV charging spaces in the easily accessible parking garage. It’s all the little touches that make this place awesome.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were friendly. Only issue with the hotel was the noise and lack of insulation. We could clearly hear every instance when someone above us was walking around, closing/opening doors and walking in the hallway.

Very good hotel. Friendly and attentive staff. Breakfast buffet was great to have available and my family and I enjoyed the courtyard with the pool. Only difference between good and excellent was the bathroom door lock was broke, was supposed to get fixed but nobody came back to correct.

This property was okay. Not centrally enough located to walk to any shops or restaurants or tourist spots. Rooms were very dated and dusty. The breakfast was average. The best part was the pool area which was very beautiful!

First off Thank you to the Morning crew for being absolutely helpful, very nice and approachable to ask questions. My room here was everything i could ask for. The restroom and shower are Mind Blowing and my favorite part to. Thank you so much Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza for helping make my 36th Birthday the Greatest Birthday ever.

The toilet worked half of the time. We had to open it up to fix ourselves. The shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles in the shower were all empty. The sink couldn't even be used. The faucet and handles were in a weird spot on the edge of the sink bowl with high edges. No way to fit anything underneath the faucet to wash. The overall feeling in the room was that it was very old and smelled old. It felt dirty i had to keep my shoes on. Only good thing was the pool. I'll never go back there im glad i only booked 1 night.

A wonderful hotel right in a prime Sunset Strip location. Hotel is by no means "brand new". It has an older 70s charm, is clean, and parking was super easy.

Property was better than I expected. The front desk staff however failed to have our room cleaned when I asked and I had to ask for our complimentary bottle of wine twice before receiving it. Besides that it was the perfect location for us.

Good stay here for four nights. Not much around the hotel, but it felt safe and the hotel staff were exceptional. If you workout on holidays the gym isn’t very good. The pool area was fantastic and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Arriving early for check-in was not a problem for Reception, and, whilst my room on level 1 on the side of the hotel that received little daylight, my room was very comfortable, and very well appointed, Wi-Fi was excellent; quiet too. I particularly liked being able to open both windows in the room day/night. Bathroom was spotless; towels and shower were excellent. Breakfast was very good: fresh hot items, plenty of choice of baked pastries and breads, good hot coffee, cereals, freshly made waffles, fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk, water dispenser, juices and breakfast condiments. This is one of the better breakfasts offered in my worldwide travels staying in hotels. The pool area is lovely to sit around with sunbeds, patio furniture, towels and proper safety equipment too. I found the Hotel staff to be incredibly friendly, helpful and efficient. I would have no hesitation staying at Best Western Plus Sunset Plaza again. Next time: a room with a view would be fabulous.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in! Very clean, beautiful pool and pool area, amazing breakfast, great location, very friendly staff, and priced perfect!

This is an incredible value for the area. I put one of my employees up here and he absolutely loved it. You cannot beat the price and the staff was so attentive and detail oriented.

This is a beautiful property with clean rooms. It was relatively quiet - at least until about 4a when some wasted dudes came home from partying. Luckily they passed out fast. Would def stay here again. Love the pool area, got a bit of writing done. It’s winter so I didn’t get the full effect, but the pool looks lowkey sick like a Roman spa. A location near where I had an event in the morning, and where I met my buddy for dinner (Rainbow). I’m local to LA, I just had a short turnaround and needed a decent crash - this place is perfect for that or if you’re a midwesterner on a budget.

The hotel was great with a lot of character. The staff was great too. The only downside was the smell of cleaning products in the rooms; it was so intense that now all my clothes and backpack smell like it. Other than that, I would recommend it.

Nice place with some distinct odors… like a motel 6 or Super 8 off an interstate. Great room, spacious. Toilet seat was breaking. Saddle Ranch across the street great to eat at. GPS will take you to the parking lot, not the main entrance (that I drove by three times).

Great staff who is very receptive and extremely helpful. Nice breakfast. Convenient to lots of places. Laundry machines available. Large spacious room with kitchenette area.

The property was clean and convenient. Parking and early check in were quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again.

This is the second time we have stayed here. We love this place. It’s really nice. The rooms are really comfortable and The pool area is beautiful. We wish we had reason to stay longer. Will be back for sure.
