Stayed at Barry Memle for Christmas holidays. Very nice location, enough parking spaces, friendly and attentive staff. Apartment as described, fully equipped with all the necessities a family may need during the stay. Extra facilities (pool, sauna) easy to reach and use. All in all, lovely place, would love to enjoy it in summer period as well. All was fine.

The spaces are great, and place is very quiet. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Even that my stay was very short, but it made thinking of returning back soon. If you think to get the best room spot; which is next to the lake, then you have to get an early booking. Most of the facilities around the property close early.

We booked this place on Airbnb, guided only by the reviews. I didn’t actually read them. I just looked at the pictures of the room. The price, I’d say, was the best value of anything on the entire lake. It was the only place that really seemed to be on the lake, where you could actually do things on the lake, not just look at it. A lot of places you couldn’t even go in the water—no lake access, or maybe just sunbathing. It’s clear a lot of love went into this place when it was built. The whole property is very thoughtfully developed. There’s a distinct yellow and blue color theme throughout—stickers, signage, even the color of the boats. Even the e-bike charger in the bike room was yellow and blue. Yeah, they have a charging station for e-bikes. The umbrellas are yellow. The chairs are blue. There are tons of different room layouts, spread across lots of buildings. We were fortunate—I’d say we had one of the best rooms. It was a little studio layout with a small kitchen. The kitchen was simple but functional. Our studio had doors that opened onto a terrace, fully enclosed by dense ivy—looked like ivy, anyway. From the terrace, you could see out to the lake. And beyond that, the mountains. On the other side? Slovenia. Bathroom was complete—modern and all in one room. Kitchen looked brand new. There’s an espresso machine, but note: you might want to bring some favorite things from home—aluminum foil, plastic zip bags, salt, pepper, spices, etc. They also provided a nice little bottle of champagne (sect), dish soap, and some kitchen supplies. Our room was right near the sauna area—almost part of it. There was a sauna, showers, a small pool to relax in. A tiny fitness area—enough to get the job done. A breakfast buffet was not included—eggs, bacon (crispy, good). They also had: Table tenni, Boats, A DVD collection you could borrow - DVD player in the room. I am happy I went at the start of the season. I don’t know if I would like to share the hotel with all the summer vacationers who are sure to visit.

Great apartment in a fantastic location. Very good wellness and great breakfast. Staff was fület nice. The price in booking did not match the actual price I paid in the end. There was some extra charge and a booking fee charge.

We stayed from 14th of Feb - 15 February 2025 The room was absolutely freezing, we put the heating to max but it was cold. The duvet they gave was so small that it would suit a child up to 12 years old. Me and my partner contemplated going to warm up in our vehicle in the middle of the night due to the cold in the room.

Great location right on the lake. Clean room. Kitchenette in the room made a great addition. Parking right outside the door. Comfortable mattress, great shower - hot water, fantastic pressure. Our dog was welcome. Thank you for the coffee pods for the breakfast! We didn't use any amenities, but they looked fantastic - we will definitely plan for them next time, as we will be back! We rented a budget room, with a bunk bed so it was tiny. We knew renting it it's not going to be large, but it was smaller than expected. It was still totally fine for one night, but it gave a ship quarters vibe, so if it's not your ting, or you're a larger person, or travelling with a larger suitcase, pick a bigger room :) (we were offered a bigger room so it's not a complaint!) Internet was really slow - this was the only downside.

Everything is good here. The staff are very courteous. The location is excellent. The facilities (Sauna, Pool, Solarium etc) are very good. This makes an excellent location for a leisure or an active trip,

The location is directly at the lake. The apartment we booked did not have any lake side view.

Location, beautiful lake view from the balcony at the main house, the size of the appartment, spa area with the little pool, cleaness. Bed linen, breakfast area. Setting and decoration more suitable for summer then winter.

Nothing in particular. We were using the sofa bed so the seating in the living area was pretty crowded. Some complimentary tea or coffee and dish soap in the kitchen would have been nice.

Beautiful location and very friendly staff. Real value for money and best property to enjoy the view. Location was perfect and close to center.
