Pool, facilities, staff, cleanliness Issue with booking.com. I clicked on a location marker 20min walk from Ubud, it showed a picture of Yana, I clicked the booking.com link and it showed the same villa and I booked it. The problem was the villa we got was not in the location it was when we clicked on maps. When we realised after arriving, the icon in the maps app was no longer there. So instead of spending most days walking, we needed transport which cost $350 AUD. Yes in the actual booking page is a map that showed the actual location (which I didn’t double check as I already clicked the location I wanted and it took me here) so I guess it’s all my fault. Why was the location 40min drive from the initial location linked on Maps. Also, villa was advertised and in my booking document to have a tv with satellite channels. It had an old slow tv box (with crap remote) so we had no tv for the first 3 day. Then they fixed it and said we need to use our Netflix login or watch YouTube. That is not satellite channels. Also, the constant smell for the locals burning rubbish and plastic ruined my stay, we visited the expected location several times and never smelt rubbish burning. The smell was in the aircon, so when there was no burning smell outside and we went in we had to put up with the smell again. All in all I am unlikely to ever use booking.com again.

Terrible place to stay. There were lizards in the room and it was scary having them right atop our head. A request for a change of room was not granted

The staff were welcoming , helpful , accomodating and enjoyable to be around . The closeness of the gorgeous pool and nature to the front door of the room. Some more water glass bottles would be useful to have in the rooms everyday.

The staff was very helpful and kind. The breakfast was so delicious especially the Indonesian one. We stayed there for 5 nights and it was quite easy to reach any part of the island by scooter. It’s a bit noisy, especially at night. And there is little light only in the room.

Everything apart from the shower. Boys were very helpful, and helped us to clean our laundry. Shower pressure was awful, no chance of washing your hair.

The staff were so helpful and went out of their way to help with everything we needed. They were really lovely. The breakfast was also very nice. Comfortable bed too. You are quite out of the way and the scooters were quite expensive to rent (100,000 a day)

Sitting on the porch of the 'villa' was very scenic and the pool was amazing. Also ordering the food from their menu was easy and it gets delivered to the room pretty fast. Renting a scooter was also quick. Make sure to write down what exactly you ordered and what the (agreed) price was. Amazing outdoor shower. Unfortunately communication with the staff was very difficult in English. At the end of our stay they charged us for several things we didn't use or agreed on. Also 1 morning we couldn't leave on our rented scooter because someone from the staff 'borrowed' 1 of our helmets and would return 2 hours later.

Staff is good, pool is nice , location it's good , walking distance to 2 nice waterfall . Noisy as is next to the road ,small room , no privacy , more like a guesthouse then villas .

the staff was really nice and helpful. surroundings are good and everything is fuctioning. location was ok. some part of the facilities were rotten. room is not protected properly from insects. friend’s room has been occupied by bugs.
