Only the bed Had booked a deluxe double room which is on the upper floors but noticed it only had one person listed not 2 so emailed to change to 2 people. Emailed the hotel and asked that it be facing the monkey forest so my grandson could see the monkeys on the balcony as this was a treat for my young grandson who was travelling with me. I didn't notice when they changed it to 2 people that they also changed the room.to superior double room.On arrival was given a room on the ground floor under the stairwell next to the storage room with a 4m high cement wall as the view only 1.5m from the balcony. Complained and was told the rooms were all booked out but I could cancel. It was 5.30pm at night, and we had no where else to go . About 10 minutes later was told I could get moved to the 2nd floor which I thought would be good but when no one came back went outside and was told they couldn't move me even though I had been told they could about 16 minutes earlier. Was told then that the manager had left so we had to accept the room.However another couple came in and asked to see the rooms upstairs ,the one I had booked mind you, while I was at reception and they were taken upstairs to see them But they had told me they didn't have any rooms upstairs left ? Was extremely upset so we went to dinner .The hotel had ruined our special trip. Paid $91 for the room and then saw a sign outside saying there was rooms available from $45 for the night...the only empty room was next to mine . On return tried to turn on the TV . It was a brand new tv but nothing was installed...no cable tv and no normal tv channels...everything said no signal .

Villa Sonia Bisma has such a great atmosphere! Nature lovers will love it here—my room overlooked the trees, and the canal right beside it added the perfect watery soundtrack. So peaceful A wonderful stay overall! For future guests: if you love nature, this is ideal—just keep your balcony doors closed, as monkeys visit often. Also, adding more breakfast variety would make mornings perfect!

I had a pleasant experience overall. Highly recommend for anyone coming to bali soon. The property was well maintained, clean pool, and closure to convenient store and many restaurants. The check in process was smooth and staff were friendly and welcoming. My room was spacious, clean and comfortable bedding. Housekeeping was consistent and respectful of privacy.

The building is old, needs renovation, the room smells musty, the breakfast is poor.

Staff was so kind. I asked for a late checkout due to the sunrise volcano hike I did, which they accommodated. They ordered me a car very last min to get me to my ferry for gilli Island, and ever made me breakfast on the spot as I packed up after my hike. I was starving and running out of time. I'm so very thankful for them making my days easier. The monkeys on the patio were just the cherry ontop! The pool was cloudy and I didn't jump in which was a bummer.

The staff were friendly, which I appreciated, but the overall customer service could definitely be improved.

The location is really excellent just a few minutes walk to the monkey forest and it’s really close to the city center. I think everything was fine here and all the stuff were through the and passion. They are willing to help you to solve problems. From the balcony, you can see a group of monkeys they will come and it’s very interactive When you take a shower and night you have to wait for several minutes for the hot water

The staff was incredible always willing to help and go beyond their duties. They are truly a hard working bunch. It’s a shame how little these people make. They should be paid 3x the amount. I didn’t care for their breakfasts or restaurant. The high steps leading up to the hotel - no railing to hold on to. The slippery tile floors were treacherous especially when wet.

Location is good. Right next door to a Scooter Hire shop. Only 5 minutes walk from Monkey Forest. We didn't bother walking through Monkey Forest, as we had 3 Monkeys visit our balcony in the room we were staying & they were quite entertaining. The free breakfast, which is served next door, is very basic.

Good location, very nice staff The whole room is in mold on the whole , the smell is moldy as well and such a humidity in the room The bed drapes are black color, is unpleasant to touch. Towels are gray color Curtains are dirty as well I stayed on the ground floor I could hear how staff was taking it doing thing at the reception

What we love the most was when the monkeys visited us around 4 p.m. on our balcony and it was surprising but fun as well. They have a big glass window door which is very safe but it was like a show for us. The room is spacious, especially the bathroom. They have a bathtub with hot water. They change the towels everyday. They have kimonos, slippers, electric kettle, restaurant and even they are willing to bring the food to our room. We saw 3 kittens nearby the restaurant and they don't mind them, which is very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. They fixed the wifi connection as well. It was a lovely place to stay. ❤️❤️ There was the wifi issue but they solved it the next day, which was acceptable. You have to wait around 10 minutes for the water to be hot for your shower.

Villa Sonia Bisma was continently located. The staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Everything was great.

The staff was very friendly and the location is pretty good next to Monkey Forrest. The whole building is mouldy. The smell is everywhere. I was able to swap the first room I was given for one where the smell of mould was not quite so bad. Nevertheless, it is everywhere, the humidity is in the walls, the bed linen is damp. Unfortunately, the bathroom was not really clean either. There was still hair from the last guests in the shower. It is probably hardly possible to get the house into a better condition due to the humidity. However, I would not come again and assume that it is not particularly healthy to breathe in the air all the time.
