Location is fantastic and the staff is wonderful. The hotel is old and wore-down but decent for the price.

Good breakfast options Different fruit varieties, different coffee varieties

Clean, staff Arishma and Eddy were very helpful, easy to get transport into town from Something to be aware of… The room was on level 1, no lifts, the stairs are steep and my fitness is not what it should be. Also drive into town can be 10m to half hour depending on traffic, so trips into town need to be planned

Pretty far away from ubud proper. Need to take a grab to get to other stuff. Ac is kind of awkwardly placed so kind of hard to cool off room. Tv wasn’t really usable because too old and kept refreshing.

Nice location! Great people running the place! Some leakage in the bathroom sink, with a plastic bowl underneath, hidden in sink with old and moldy water. If they fix it it will be perfect;)

Great location and amazing hospitality! The service was amazing. Edy who is the reception manager is a super nice and kind person who helps with everything. He made us a special surprise in our room for our honeymoon. We loved that place and definitely will come back again

I really enjoyed the hotel view particularly as it was situated right in front of a beautiful rice field. The staff were friendly which added to the overall positive experience. Breakfast was good, but there were limited options to choose from the menu. I had issues with the Wifi; it kept disconnecting making it nearly impossible to watch videos or load images...the housekeeping was subpar; they didn't clean the room thoroughly particularly the bathroom :(

Ideal location.Big room.Clean with hot shower.It would be ideal if they had a screen.in the shower.Breafast was good not much choice.Fruit and fruit juice were very nice.Freiendly smiling staff and very helpful.

Rural location.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They took breakfast orders the day before and had it ready for us at whatever time we chose to be down from our room. We also climbed Mt Batur where we had to be collected at 2:30am by our driver - when we told the staff this during general conversation, they offered to make us a takeaway breakfast option. The deluxe room was extremely spacious with great facilities. The balcony view of the rice terraces was great also, it was exactly what we were looking for. 100% woukd return. N/A

The views from the resort are breathtaking, with lush green rice paddies stretching as far as the eye can see. We spent countless hours just soaking in the serene landscape from our balcony, sipping tea. The location is perfect—just a short distance from the bustling heart of Ubud, yet secluded enough to enjoy peace and quiet. I loved the convenience of being close to local markets, restaurants, and cultural sites while having a relaxing retreat to return to. Breakfast was a delightful experience, featuring a wide variety of delicious options, including traditional Balinese dishes and fresh fruits. Every morning felt like a feast, and the outdoor dining area with stunning views made it even more special. The rooms are beautifully designed, combining modern comfort with traditional Balinese elements. They were spacious, clean, and well-equipped with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the decor made it feel like a true sanctuary. Lastly, the pool area was a highlight of my visit. With its stunning views and inviting atmosphere, it was the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring. I enjoyed lounging by the pool, surrounded by nature, and the refreshing water was just what I needed. Overall, my experience at Paon Desa Ubud was nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend this gem to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with outstanding service, stunning views, and a true taste of Balinese hospitality. Nothing I can think of.

The staff are all helpful, ask for help, and in a minute they are at your door. Edi is very helpful, and he does all round jobs in the hotel but is still always smiling and helping the guest. Nothing

Staff were so friendly and welcoming, helpful with suggestions around what to do. Breakfast was also excellent It was a little further out than expected and not a walkable road to get to if you’re wanting to explore central Ubud. However very easy by car or scooter

Decent location staff is very good

the staff is 11/10 and willing to above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied especially Bagus and Edi and another lady staff at the front desk. Bagus is memang Bagus. the rice paddy view is really nice. one of the 4 light bulb is not working and kept flickering. there were some issue with the room at first but the staff fixed it immediately and took feedback well.
