Menzel Villa Ubud is nothing short of paradise. My husband and I stayed here for our 10th wedding anniversary, and from the moment we arrived we were surrounded by peace, beauty, and genuine Balinese hospitality. The resort is incredibly romantic, with stunning rice terrace views, beautifully maintained grounds, and a tranquil atmosphere that makes it easy to relax and unwind. The staff were exceptional throughout our stay. Every member of the front office and restaurant team was warm, attentive, and welcoming, making us feel truly valued as guests. One of the highlights of our trip was the Romantic Dinner package. It was worth every Rupiah. We enjoyed a private dining experience in the rice terraces surrounded by candles and flowers, creating an unforgettable setting for our anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding, with each course better than the last, and the service was impeccable. I was also treated to the Holistic Spa Package, which was pure luxury from start to finish. It was one of the most relaxing and indulgent spa experiences I have ever had. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and we left with wonderful memories that we will cherish forever. Honestly, very little. As with any property set within lush tropical rice fields, there are naturally insects and wildlife around, but this is part of the authentic Bali experience and was not an issue for us. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Staff is very supportive and friendly, vouchers are available on check-in for discounts, extra massage added for free on our package, very good breakfast with amazing view. Very small pool, and there is a probability of finding small lizards because of the nature.

If you want to experience the true Bali. We will recommend this hotel. What you see in photos you can also see in person. Nothing. The service was so good very flexible. And the property is soooooo beautiful.

The grounds were very pretty!! And the restaurant set around the pool was the best! Very clean and about 15-20 minutes from the center of Ubud, where they have like 300 restaurants and shops! Also the staff was incredible! Very courteous and friendly, always with a smile ? The road to the hotel for the last 5-7 minutes is dark and somewhat treacherous

Love the location, it is a bit our of hand but that makes it so special. You have a beautiful oasis in Ubud when you stay at Menzel. The Staff was super helpful and welcoming. Facilities where great, clean, absolutely recommend. The restaurant super flavourful, and great breakfast!

It does not look like the pictures!!!! Tiny main pool. Not a resort. It does not look like the pictures!!!! - Rice fields look different not pretty - you have to book an expensive room, budget and deluxe are easier to the road, loud or in the building next door looks like motel - motel rooms you hear everything the neighbour does at night! - food portions tiny, I am a girl weigh 50 kg how is a big man supposed to be full after that kinda meal if I still feel hungry after one little slice of bread with a little avocado. - view out of deluxe room shown on picture

Breakfast was fine. So happy to get a good latte at the bar in the morning. I loved the whole place - beautiful grounds and gardens, lovely pool. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

I celebrated my birthday here and the whole staff surprised me with the most beautiful cake — honestly, it was so perfect I didn’t even think it could be from the hotel. They came singing “Happy Birthday” and made me feel truly special. The place itself is stunning… one of those hidden gems you almost don’t want to review because you’d rather keep it a secret. But it’s too beautiful not to share. Thank you for such a magical stay.
