I like the property. I like that there’s a lot of greenery in the property and it is relaxing. There’s a lot of animal noise especially in the middle of the night when there was a loud sound of lizard (tuko) coming from the ceiling. It happened for 2 nights in a row and it woke me up.

I asked to cancel one night so I could find another place to stay, but despite the cancellation policy, the staff refused to offer a refund.

Good location and quiet. Decent breakfast for price. Bed very hard and squeaky. No bedside lamps. Bed linen is old. Towels threadbare with holes.

The location is excellent & the staff very helpful. Loved the garden The rooms were a little bit dark otherwise happy. I would paint the walls white.

Good location. Easy walk to restaurants and some shopping but you're not in the middle of the crazy busy part of Ubud. But only a few minutes drive to the centre of Ubud. Pools were nice, very pretty and we couldn't hear any traffic.

Mould problem! My eye got swollen and my face felt numb. I asked for another room with a new AC which felt better, but I felt sad with my skin problem Would have appreciated a discount or free face treatmemt

The gardens and outside areas were beautiful. So much plant life, greenery and some nice spaces to appreciate among more traditional style buildings. Feels very peaceful and grounding. Location is great - close enough to central Ubud and in a quiet area where there is still plenty to and nearby shops and restaurants. Reasonably priced for what it was Felt like they were somewhat understaffed. A few of the same workers were doing a wide variety of tasks from cleaning, serving food and check in. Because of this while there was nothing inherently wrong with De Munut things weren't quite as clean, tidy and organised as other hotels I've stayed in. Appreciated that breakfast was provided, but it was fairly basic and was left wanting a little more sometimes. Towels and bed covers about due for an upgrade.

Its got two lovely pools and the gardens are very nice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. While its located near main street, the road to it is quite steep and very busy with traffic. very tedious to walk it especially after rain.
