I loved the setting. Beautiful views everywhere. My room was quite large and I had a big outdoor private space. The staff members were professional to a tee. Having read other comments, I wish to add that prior to my arrival, I was specifically asked about allergies to foods. At each good offering, I was asked again. The morning breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening meals could not have been better. Disputing other comments about lack of choices at tea, I have included a photo of the tea service. I opted for an all day tour; organized by the hotel. I urge everyone to do this. Wow! The property is beginning to show some age. This does NOT detract from the beauty.

We LOVED everything about this resort! Room, facilities, location, dining, spa. Staff are absolutely wonderful! And the best ever Balinese massage. We were sorry to leave and hope to be able to return for a longer visit.

Once we took a Taxi from Denpasar airport to Ubud. My fiancée and me were not knowing exactly where we are going. But, when we arrived the property at night and We were welcomed, registered, and taken to our room. We felt an immense sense of comfort and an indescribable feeling. I can describe it as "STUNNED” I just want to describe it as Paradise.

A Stay to Remember This hotel really leaves an impression from the moment you arrive. The views are the star of the show. Every look outside feels picture-perfect. I visited the property with my Family and all of us loved it. The restaurant is a real highlight. With such an amazing backdrop, eating here feels more like an experience than just a meal. The food is well presented, the service is friendly and attentive, and the views make you want to sit back and take your time. It’s the kind of place where you don’t rush, whether it’s breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Staff are friendly and accommodative. The rooms are comfortable and well designed, making them a great place to relax after a day out. Waking up to those views is definitely something you don’t get tired of. The spa also is a excellent place that everyone can enjoy. Overall, this hotel combines great views, excellent dining, and a calm, welcoming vibe. A perfect spot if you’re looking to unwind, celebrate, or just enjoy a stay with an amazing view. The Front office can be better but it might be a one time issue so nothing to complain

Hotel environment and service were the best. It was a hidden oasis. Lush green forests, monkeys were roaming around freely in the morning and minding their own business. No need to visit the monkey jungle to see aggressive animals. Food was excellent too.

I don't like to come back home :(

It was truly a magical experience, hidden away in the rainforest. Our villa was beautifully adorned with Balinese wood carvings and featured a private pool. The bathroom was spacious, with a generous double sink. I especially loved that it had a separate area for getting dressed while enjoying the view. It was so peaceful to hear the river gently babbling nearby. I spent an entire day just taking in the view. I would say this was one of my favourite stays, and I hope to return soon! The room was a little dark, but very cozy. Instead of having the door near the front, which blocks the view, I would suggest installing a floor-to-ceiling plate glass window. This would allow you to enjoy the view of the rainforest from your bed and bring in much more natural light during the day. I don’t think you need the door, as there is already one to the right that leads to the villa's pool.

The location was beautiful, set in the jungle we had amazing views, very tranquil and relaxing. The staff were amazing, very kind and attentive especially with our baby which made for a wonderful holiday! Food was excellent. Also loved the spa facilities, we enjoyed some much needed massages! Nothing!

The Indonesian food in the restaurant, and the staff who served it! The less said about the Western food the better. The villa as advertised was nothing like the villa we were allocated. Far from having a private pool with infinity views, it was totally visible to patrons of the resort restaurant looking down upon it (so much for honeymoon-style intimacy!), and the pool itself offered a view not of forest but a low mound of earth built, perhaps, to salvage a bit of privacy from passersby on a lower path. We had a choice between this resort and others, and would have chosen others if this one had been honestly represented.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the stunning Ayung Resort in Ubud, Bali, and I can’t recommend it enough! From the moment I checked in, I was greeted with the warmest welcome by the friendly and accommodating staff, setting the tone for an exceptional stay. The resort itself is a paradise. My room was spacious, elegantly designed, and impeccably clean, with a private balcony offering breathtaking views of the lush jungle. Waking up to that serene scenery was pure bliss. The restaurant is another highlight—a true culinary delight! The food was beyond amazing, and the views from the dining area made every meal unforgettable. Every bite felt like a celebration of flavors, and I genuinely looked forward to every dining experience. One of the unique touches was the photo shoot, which was such a thoughtful and memorable addition to my stay. It’s little details like this that truly set Ayung Resort apart. Another standout experience was the spa. I had the Heavenly Package at their DEWI Spa, and I swear to God, I haven’t felt so relaxed in over a decade. The restaurant in the resort prepare us the breakfast and dinner is the best for our whole trip to Bali. The view from the restaurant is also very nice.
