The pool area was dirty and clearly not being cleaned regularly. The hot tub was unusable because it was either scalding hot or completely cold, with no consistent temperature control. One of the biggest issues was the lack of air conditioning in the hallways and common areas. The lobby was unbearably hot, and our group repeatedly had to ask staff to turn on fans just so we could comfortably gather there. Guests should not have to request basic climate control. The condition of the room was equally concerning. The door lock did not function properly and had been secured with a zip tie, which raised serious safety and security concerns. The air vents in my room were covered in dust and dirt, indicating they had not been cleaned in a very long time. The bathtub was disgusting and appeared poorly maintained. The bathroom design created another hazard. The shower curtain was far too short, allowing large amounts of water to spill onto the tile floor during every shower. This left puddles throughout the bathroom and created a slippery, unsafe walking surface. Members of our group slipped multiple times because of the excessive water on the floor. Overall, this property appears to suffer from a lack of maintenance, cleanliness, and attention to guest comfort. I would not stay here again and cannot recommend it to others.

I accidentally booked the wrong location and after some time passed without being able to cancel without a penalty, I decided to go ahead and stay. What a mistake!!!! I asked for a room not far from the elevator due to my husband's inability to walk far. The desk clerk was VERY nice but gave us a room at the FAR end of the hall. I went back downstairs and asked if they had rooms closer and that I had asked him for a closer room. He said yes and proceeded to assign me a room on 1st floor which I accepted after seeing how close it was. We moved into the room. It was dark and run down looking on the inside. I had planned on staying two nights but changed my mine and decided we would only stay that night and proceeded to cancel the next night. The room was evidently made for a midget because the bathroom tolitery wad sooo low to the floor. My husband could barely use the toilet due to how low it was to the floor and the tank or/and the commode rocked and made loud cranking sounds went trying to sit or get up from it. I started to complain, but decided not to because we had already moved once. We toughened the night out with someone sitting in the pool area ALL night long talking loud. Mind you a big rain storm was coming in that night, but whoever it was stayed out there all night talking loud either on the phone or to himself. Our room was right by the pool area. Evidently they don't check the grounds at night or they would have seen this person. Upon leaving the next morning there were roaches crawling around on the kitchenette area and baby roaches around the corner of the entrance door to the room. We hurried and got OUT of that roach infested, ragged furniture uncomfortable room. I did report it to desk staff upon our departure and she apologized and took notes. The building was being renovated, but I ended up paying for a room that should have never been rented. The hotel

I confirmed when I booked that they had shuttle service to the Market Street area. When we arrived they said their van was not operating. I would have never stayed there again if I had known that ahead of time.

Breakfast is my only complaint, but it’s not different than in other hotels. Powder eggs are not my dream. There were no fresh fruits. Besides that the hotel is wonderful and my two- room suite was very nice.

Tammi at the front desk is amazing. She is so friendly and really cares about her guests. She went out of her way to help my husband and I out when we had an issue with the guest in the room below us. Great location. Highly recommend.

I liked the location a lot, it's easy to reach from the The Woodlands Mall/waterway without taking the freeway, literally 10' away from anything/ the room had a smell that never went away (a bit like broccoli). It was overall clean, but it really smelled bad.

We have stayed at this location several times and it will continue to be our first choice in the area. We love having the extra space of the suite including the kitchenette and dining table. Bed was comfortable, breakfast was good, and we had a great time. We were disappointed that the hot tub was undergoing repairs. In our visits here, the hot tub has been out of order more often than working. We also noticed the room needed some cosmetic repairs but it was nothing that affected our stay.

I liked the Location, & the Room. And Your Staff was Exceptional, Very Welcoming Hotel & Staff. We Booked this location thru, Booking. com, we were given a price of $111.00, but we were charged $139.00 for the Room, this Is Not Including,Taxes, & Incidentals. In All we paid around $159!! I've Not had Any Problems with Booking.com in the Past. Not sure what happened here.

Room was roomy & clean. Staff was outstanding - very friendly & accommodating. Only complaint - no ice machines. There was a refrigerator in our suite, but it did not have an ice maker & there are no ice machines/buckets to go get ice. Front desk clerk took me to the dining area kitchen to fill up my water bottle with ice, so that was appreciated!

My room had a horrible smell but after 30 minutes it either went away or i couldn't smell it anymore. I was very close at first to asking for a new room. Other wise I slept great, very comfortable.

Convenient location The tiles in the room were cracked and coming up. Shower leaked from the room above us and water was dripping in the air return. Water staining from what I assume is the same leak, was in the ceiling and walls in the same area. Old food smudges were found on the chair in the kitchen. Pillows went flat the minute you layer on them. I asked for additional pillows and staff told me to come get them. No effort to ensure we were comfortable was made. When we checked out, I said we are checking out room /:;, I guess he didn’t hear me state the room number and rudely told me he didn’t know what room I was checking out of. So I repeated myself. I also told him they were written on the keys I just handed him. Overall, just wasn’t a great room or stay.

Absolutely great staff from the front desk to the breakfast and anyone you met in the building was so nice and so helpful and made my state extremely pleasant, the area is very nice. It’s close to all the shopping and it literally across the street from great shopping and restaurants.

The lady that works nights at the front desk is awesome. She needs a raise, you can't afford to lose her. She worked Christmas eve night. I wish I would have gotten her name.

The people who run this establishment are the main reason why I stay here and nowhere else. I feel like I am visiting old friends for the weekend. I always have a hard time finding the entrance and the carpet needs to be replaced. Minor issues.

The room did have a slight smell but I always carry lysol to spray at hotels. It is a clean issue with me. But otherwise, not bad.

Great staff were very helpful in making it feel like home. Shuttle service to Cynthia woods pavilion was quick and convenient. Pool and hot tub were great. They even have an outdoor cooking space avaliable with propane grills and a covered cabana.

The room had a musty smell.

It was nice and staff was friendly and helpful! This was our 2nd time to stay, since my husband and I had our back surgeries in spring. They made sure we had a down stairs room as well. Definitely will be back, I'll have another back surgery the 23 and booked this same hotel again! They have great vreakfast and also had a band playing and feed us and never been to a hotel that did that for us and even gave our son a good bag!!! That the pool was closed.

Breakfast was a little better than your average hotel breakfast. Location was great. Need a light on tiny sign out front by road. Very hard to see at night. Very loud in rooms. Every time people above us would walk. Plumbing very loud. Shower tub needs replacing.

It didnt, we switched rooms and the second room the door didn’t work ( which we found after exchanging keys twice) and we finally got a third room that worked. It’s run down. I would definitely not do this again. I don’t have high expectations for the money but do expect a room that works.

Wouldn’t stay again. Elevator was broken for the two nights I was there. Had to lug my heavy luggage up and down the stairs. Never even saw the elevator being worked on. Needs to be upgraded asap.

Close to the Cynthia Woods Pavilion. They had a shuttle that took us from the hotel to the concert and back! Everyone was super helpful and friendly.

Had a great stay at Homewood Suites. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. The front desk and breakfast personnel were amazing. We were staying in the area for soccer games, and the location was very convenient. The area around the hotel had a lot of options for shopping and dining.

My family loves this hotel. We have booked twice here. The pool and hot tub are amazing and fun! The breakfast is delicious! The Texas shaped waffles have all the fixings! So good! Plus their coffee is good also! We will be back for sure.

But here I was just stared at like I was a nuisance. This was my first impression and I’m back in Houston the next 2 weeks…as soon as I got to my room I booked another place to stay.

Rented two rooms. Room 1 had a wasp problem weirdly enough. Room 2 had a bad AC and a busted pull out couch. Most disappointing of all was the broken hot tub…we had been looking forward to that all day. The algae ring around the water’s edge makes it obvious that this has been broken for some time, yet no indication of this online.

All night noises, banging, noises like furniture moving, hitting walls, etc...sofa bed was broken and very old....sagging...overall property was smelly, stinky...very old building...

I enjoyed the layout of the room. Only problem the refrigerator was at end of cabinets to the right and refrigerator door opened backwards which made it different to get into it. Pool/hot tub not working which disappointed my grandchildren.

The hotel is old and dated. When i checked in the lady at the front desk asked for my payment. After she swiped my card, she handed it back and told me that there was a crew working on the roof but she didnt think that it would be a problem because they would be working the next morning and if they happen to be there they wouldnt get started until 930 a.m. ., that would have been nice to know before i had paid for a non refundable room. Getting into the room and the furniture is VERY old and dingy i was leary of the couch and didnt feel comfortable sitting on it. After getting in rather late that night and getting to sleep my husband and i were woken up at 7.55 am on a Saturday morning with a crew hammering directly above our room! I called to the front desk and told them that we were told that they wouldnt be working until late if at all and the lady at the front desk said " I dont know what you want me to do about it" and hung up. It was rude and unprofessional and it is beyond me why anyone would place us in an annex of the building that was being worked on in the first place. I wont be staying here again.

We stayed there last year after hurricane Laura, we evacuated to the Woodlands and our room was on the 1st floor close to the exit door(perfect) We did notice it was a pet friendly hotel(cool)! Upon that Chk in we had animal hair alllllll over the pull out sofa. We called and someone came vacuum(no difference) We enjoyed the amenities (bball court, pool, grill) So we booked again bc of Hurricane Ida, only for us to be on 2nd floor at end of the hall which reeked of animal urine and funky dog the whole walk!!!! I’m in no way an animal hater, i grew up with dogs, hogs and horses. I really think they need to consider having one floor strictly for animals and their families. So that way they can really pay more attention to keeping the other floors clean and dog hair free! My son has really bad dog & cat allergies & of course bc we evacuated in a hurry we didn’t grab that out the cabinet but i did go to Walmart and purchased some otc meds to help with our stay.

Friendly staff and a very clean room.

Staff was friendly and helpful when we had a question. The sink and tub did not drain very well. The AC didn't feel like it cooled well. We had it on 67 and no way was it that cool in there.

Room was canceled from a 2 queen bed suite to a king suite before I got there. Requested 2 queen when booking. First room had no air so I had the change rooms at 2 am. Second room smelled horrible. Mold on the ceiling. Absolutely disgusting.

Property needed updating. Rooms need renovating & but other than that, the staffs are ok. Had my windshield broken on their property & I'm still waiting to hear back about repairing it.

I liked everything except having to request the cleaning of the room…We got so tired of waiting that we just changed the sheets ourselves…Other than that I liked it a lot…The girl working the front desk when I checked in was such a Sweetheart

Lobby was clean, Room were very clean, elevator too. Breakfast was limited due to covid limitations. But it was ok. Over-all i would diffently stay again.

We have always stayed at this hotel when visiting grandchildren. Although it is an older property, it is consistent and reliable.

No coffee breakfast to go was very mediocre. Property was an average condition

Hotels was ok but not what was expected. paid hire price for extra amenities but did not receive them . no early checking ,no late check out, $15 resort credit for nothing. They could have at least left some snacks in room to make up for it. Booked room that said "sweeten your stay" dont do it.

Whenever we stay here we the best nights sleep !! We LOVE their beds and bedding !! Its so comfortable that one day while there we didnt wake up till after noon !!!

I am happy with Homewood Suites. I would recommend this chain to anyone! I had to stay due to the winter storm issues, not for travel or leisure. Staff was super kind, considerate, and understanding. I know who I will be using in the future for any vacation and travel related stays. I love that they are pet friendly, have nice warm breakfast, spacious rooms, and comfortable beds!

Clean property and rooms. Door closings are a little loud and the toilets have a vacuum flush which is great for getting rid of waste but you can hear the next room flush. All that said it’s minor when choosing a good place to stay. I would recommend this hotel!!

There was a ton of mold in the bathroom. On walls and the ceiling. Extremely discussed

Very spacious rooms, super friendly staff, I've stayed in many hotels in Shenandoah and this is by far the best for the price. Will stay there again for sure.

Weekday staff is Rude not as kind as weekend staff.

At first it started out great, but there is no noise buffers so we could hear everything. One night people were partying and when asked if the hotel could quiet them down we got told, the people are paying guests. Seriously! It wasn't until 3 AM that the party stopped. Definitely need to add sound barriers at the hotel.

Everything was great other than that had nothing but down pillows and I am allergic to feathers.

Our stay was great! Tv didn’t work so they moved us to a premier suite. It had snacks and drinks all at our original price. Beds are soo comfy! A big thank you to Philip for making our visit with family memorable!!!

We had a wonderful stay. Even with Covid restrictions, a grab and go breakfast was provided. The staff was friendly and explained all the amenities. There were plenty of in room snacks, and lots of nearby restaurants for delivery. I loved the separate bedroom and sitting area. We will be back!

The rooms were very clean and spacious with all the amenities needed. The staff was very courteous and willing to help with whatever we needed.

We didn't realize that there was no daily cleaning for the room. The breakfast was not the best. It was quiet.
