The breakfast was very good. Good variety of things to eat. Only complaint is that the room was not made up so when we returned to the room in the evening I had to go to the front desk and ask for clean towels. Our room key didn’t work, so I had to make 2 trips to the front desk.

Room wasn’t that clean, the sink didn’t drain properly, the bathroom door didn’t close completely, the coffee in the morning was from the day before… I didn’t eat the breakfast because they didn’t serve it until 7 am. The staff was friendly though. Poor management maybe.

The beds were very soft. The rooms felt clean and modern. The breakfast was really good. There was a large selection of hot versus bakery items. There was a dead roach right when we entered. That really brought the place down a notch for me. I felt like I was constantly looking for more bugs. I am happy to report that I did not see any or any signs of any bugs. That one probably came in through the front door.

We booked through Booking.com and they could not find our reservation or a confirmation number in the system. It took us three hours to check in so I would not use this reservation service.

Yes this property is Pet friendly, however I was not impressed by the pet friendly, due to I have allergies real bad from dog hair, and I feel like some pet need to be left at home. Then I feel like hotel maid doesn’t clean very well when it comes to housekeeping, some people let their dog laid in the bed and I feel some type of way about pet friendly hotels. But overall my visit was decent.

The hotel is close to all we needed including major highways and the airport. Within walking distance to Walmart for forgotten items, gas station and Willie’s restaurant. Understaffed. This is a government issue that becomes the service providers issue.

Weight room smelled really funky... not like body odor, but like stale water. Really odd. Kids enjoyed the pool. Said it was really cold.

We only stayed one night but in that time we found everything clean and pleasant. I was traveling with my grandchildren.. needless to say they LOVED the indoor pool and waffles for breakfast. I myself enjoyed scrambled eggs and sausage with toast. The staff was very friendly and told us about a place to take the boys to eat and play which they truly enjoyed and I enjoyed relaxing time…definitely staying there again the next time we r in Houston.

Location was perfect, 5 minutes from Methodist! Walmart and Willie’s bar & grill a quick 2 minute walk The hotel could use a little updating, elevator is due for service, in general it looked a little worn. It was a bit noisy from outside noise with highway close by. Room interior was spacious, tidy and comfortable but the bathroom needed a clean as there were random hairs on the walls and in the shower and good size hairball near the shower door.

I enjoyed the partition that provided some types of semi privacy when sleeping. The fact that it came with a mini refrigerator did not hurt. Additionally, the location was perfect; within range of a gas station, Walmart and eateries. There was also a heated indoor pool which would have been perfect for a swim if the time I had permitted. The gym had two pieces of exercising equipment that was either disconnected or broken. There were still options available for a complete workout.

Location Outside flood light was directed right at our window in Room 106. The room was bright all night. Curtains did not block the light.

Our room had a queen bed & the air wasn't working & half of the lights worked, the internet was out in the room as well! In walking distance to Wal Mart and a good American restaurant! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were clean. Breakfast buffet was great with sausage, eggs, potatoes, gravy oatmeal, waffles, yoghurt, bagels, coffee, juice ... The pool was warm and felt nice.

Our room smelled so smoky, the receptionist sprayed a neutralizer to help. But as soon as we turned off the air conditioner, the room would smell smoky again. This was a non-smoking room. We dealt with it. But I feel when you use 3rd party booking for discount prices. Hotel accommodations are sub par.

We were there for one night on Christmas eve The person at the check-in counter was very courteous and pleasant. Check in was a breeze and we were in our rooms in no time. The one thing I did not check is that our room and the room of our friends did not have a microwave. We used the microwave near the breakfast place to heat our food. The receptionist was kind enough to open the dining area for us at night. Breakfast in the morning was great. All in all a great experience

The hotel is very old. The hotel is too close to the highway, so traffic noise made it impossible to sleep. The room wall and ceiling had wet area that might suggest possible presence of mold.

Don't want to sound like I'm picking apart the place but the same opened water bottle that was in the lobby when I checked in the previous night, was in the same place when I checked out 12 hours later. After my experience, it is my opinion that if you don't clean up the common areas, what should we expect of the rooms? Breakfast was not bad.

I have been to several, hotels in houston with my Grangdaughter. And this has been the best one yet. It was clean the help was friendly. And understanding. And just the whole 5 days there was amazing. And we will be back. Thank you to you company.

It’s a dated property but the rooms have been remodeled and the same for the bathroom. It is very close to shores and a two minute walk to Walmart for food and anything you might need. Staff was nice.

Staff was very nice, accommodating, and communicative. The bed was SO COMFORTABLE I didn’t want to get out of bed. Parking was great and it was in a terrific area. Definitely coming back here soon!

The property was having roof repairs so it wasn't a great sight but otherwise it was an excellent stay. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast in the morning was good and they had an excellent oatmeal bar. We didn't try the indoor pool but it looked appealing.

My wife and I were very impressed to see how clean the hotel room was. The beds, bedding, bathroom, carpeting—everything was VERY CLEAN. They certainly have a great housekeeping staff. We are pet owners of a hypoallergenic dog (Shih Tzu) and have had bad experiences in the past with pet friendly hotels because they were not cleaned well enough at all (eg. pet hair, sticky floor, musty smell). Both my wife and children’s sensitivity to regular dogs and cats was quickly noticeable in entering these hotel rooms. We’ve left w/my family in a very congested and allergic state. The itchy eyes, runny nose, sneezing, etc. It is a horrible way to spend vacation time in that condition. Thank you Fairfield Woodlands, TX for making our stay such a pleasant and enjoyable one. You ALL Rock!!!! Looking forward to staying with you in the future, as we now have extended family near that area and will be making more visits.

Most everything was great except the toilet was way too short & you charge for parking - no one else does that. Don’t want to stay here anymore because of that - $12 per day, seriously??? Come on now!

This place was so convenient to the hospital. Lots of restaurants and right across from Walmart. The staff was absolutely wonderful. Had laundry room. Made my stay at the hospital less stressful.

The room was a bit smaller than imagined. Everything else was great the check in and out was easy and fast. They were very kind to me I had just gotten surgery and they were very accommodating.

1) Tiny little ants had the run of the bathroom. 2) When the electricity was going off and on because of the weather, they turned off the elevator. However, once the storm had passed and the electricity was solidly on, they didn't turn the elevator back on. They responded to our inquiry, by saying they couldn't get hold of a repair man to "fix" it. (My husband being a certified & experienced commercial building engineer, knew that they just needed the manager to return and turn the elevator back on. He was proven right when that actually happened.) I, having had 6 back surgeries and being forbidden by the surgeon to walk up or down stairs, was forced to take stairs to the 2nd floor. 3) While the elevator was turned off, we sat & waited in the lobby, where we were able to witness how unprofessional the receptionist was. She gave out someone's room number to a visitor, rather than calling up to the guest's room for approval; she was "short" and approaching rude to the people on the phone. 4) The waffle iron in the breakfast area is too old and needs to be replaced. It burned breakfast for numerous guests while we watched. (The kitchen staff, however were all very friendly & helpful throughout our week long visit.) 5) The manager walked around and visited with each guest during breakfast, which was nice, but she talked so loudly that it was hard not to hear every word and to focus on our own

The room next door had huge dogs that caused a lot of noise and barking. Owners if dogs or visitors to that room consistently yelled at the dogs. This noise went on throughout the day & evening. One of the dos, a pitbull, had to be held back by two adults when we walked by. Did not make us feel to safe.

Stayed for a 6 days. They have free breakfast so it was helpful especially with a 3yr old. They also have a refrigerator which is great. They clean the room every other day and since we are gone most of the time - we were good with it. The bed maybe needs more update soon cause it sags in the middle

First room we were in the toilet and tv were not working properly and did not have a microwave turns out only the suites have those which is a first. Got them to get us into a suite. The fridge did not work in that room it kept freezing everything thing. To top it off only room service once in a week stay and they didn't even change the sheet. Tried to talk to the manager and they wouldn't give any sort of money back stating they cleaned the room properly. Never stay here again

The hotel was clean so was the room. breakfast was hot and delicious. Service at the front desk was great and respectful to us. Only concerned I had was the outer parts of the hotel were unsafe and a lot of noise. Due to helecop that would come and go to the hospital close by.

All staff were so kind and the place was clean, just an overall great stay. I would like to specifically mention Michelle who was SO SWEET AND CARING while pulling a double at that!! She just always was so happy and welcoming every time I passed by the desk. Our A/C went out while we were out at a concert due to the bad weather that’s been in the Houston area recently and Michelle happily moved us to an open room that night when we realized it was no longer working upon our return. 10/10 great stay the hospitality was awesome.

The lady at the front desk is super sweet and was so quick to get anything we asked for.

It was a very difficult to sleep due to road noise. Also could hear sounds from guests next door and dog barking from floor above. maid service to clean, restock coffee, bring fresh towels and change sheets are only every other day. The free breakfast isn’t worth staying for. Was charge $24 for parking for a 2 day stay in a basic parking lot with no security. Not sure what the parking fee is for. The only positive of the stay was comfortable beds, bedding and pillows. Plus it’s close to great shopping. I would not stay at this hotel again. It definitely didn’t have the quality of the Marriott brand that I am used to.
