It was far but truly understandable.

can hear the room above you. Pool is cute but local people abusing it. It's clean in a way I scared to go in.. Not hygiene.

I needed to get away for a few days and this was a perfect location with the most incredible views. Bike rentals and kitchen. Only one room has the view so I felt bad for other guests. You can’t order ANYTHING from ANYWHERE!

Gorgeous location. Superior Accomodations. Attentive and responsive staff. It was the best! The breakfast wasn’t as fantastic as everything else was.

Very serene property in the middle of the rice fields Beautiful accommodation and atmosphere Gorgeous room, massive king size bed, spotlessly clean Excellent breakfast & dinner from the kitchen Beautiful staff Not a issue for me but if you have mobility issues this property is probably not for you No car access, so have to walk 100m along a cement path through the fields. Access to lower rooms is via stepping stones ( not connected) over a large water feature High steps ( only 4) up to property

This place is absolutely amazing for relaxing. The customer service is outstanding—every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. Anytime we had a request, the staff responded promptly and always with a warm smile. They even picked us up for a late check-in and helped with our bags—small things, but they made a big difference. The setting is incredibly peaceful, surrounded by farmland with no sound of traffic—just frogs and the calming sounds of nature. Even the air smells fresh and clean. Sitting by the swimming pool to meditate or simply relax with a partner was so refreshing. The indoor space was spotless and comfortable, complete with a fridge, a bathtub, and all the essentials. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to escape the noise and truly connect with nature.

Really amazing place Just one thing - My room was on top and there were no buildings in front. No one can see inside the room. But there was a DRONE flying outside my balcony and windows. I didn’t know and I was changing clothes!! This is a violation of privacy. I told the staff that drones should never be allowed to fly in front of guests’ rooms. I have never seen a hotel allow a drone to fly and look inside the privacy of other guests’ rooms!

The staff was friendly we appreciated the room was clean and really big the view also was perfect and one thing was perfect that was no tax and lunch and dinner was amazing I didn’t like the breakfast when we booked from booking that was written fabulous breakfast but we disappointed

Little bugs which can not really be helped due to the accommodations' location.

We didn’t get much time to enjoy the room since we were busy with activities, but we definitely appreciated the warmth and hospitality of the team. It’s a great place if you’re looking for a quiet and unique stay. The location.

Wow.. what an incredible location! The place was impeccable. They had great activities, the food was great, highly recommend the flower bath, massage treatments and town walk! Nothing! It was perfect for a solo retreat. It might not be great if you want a city vibe but they offer transport to anywhere you want to go!

The facilities are top notch! ??Staff and owner are nice. Room is clean. They went beyond our expectations. We were happy with our 5 days stay. Nothing. Just the location. It's far away from Ubud center.

Great location had a short but awesome stay.

We have mixed feelings with this place, thus the average rating we give for our stay at Nenggala. The views are nice, and the room is huge, with large balcony. We can't expect an incredible stay for such a cheap price. We've paid ~$40 per night while we've paid as much as $400 per night in Sanna Ubud and Magic Hills (Sidemen) Bed is comfy and room is pretty clean, which is great. AC works perfectly. The rice fields are beautiful, but we are not planning to be back. The food is...well, let's just say that we do not recommend it. We've ordered 5 different dishes in different days and none of them was edible apart from their own cuisine with the Mie Goreng (was passable/Ok) It can get tough because there's NOTHING nearby, and you might get really hungry and forced to eat pretty bad quality food. If ordering anything, ask for their own cuisine because they can't cook European/American food at all, and most of it is frozen. The chicken Schnitzel was simply horrible and we couldn't eat it. The Aglio y olio pasta was pretty much plain pasta with a LOT of Chilli. I love Chilli, but was too spicy even for me. They haven't asked once how the food was and they did see the plates full when collecting them. The staff in general is polite and available. They did take 15min for the check-out and process the payment though. It's not horrible, but it's not a place we plan to come back to, mostly because we was hungry and disappointed with the food every single day, and is quite far from everything. There's nothing more to do apart from seeing the rice fields and if you want to visit Mason Elephant Park which isn't far at all and it was the reason we booked Nenggala as we booked a full tour experience with the Elephants. We don't want to give the impression this place is horrible, because it's not. Just don't expect to find a 10/10 stay is our message. The breakfast is of poor quality. I don't even want to know what that "fresh" orange juice is made of. I will just assume is 3/4 water and 1/4 orange juice.

The room was very nicely designed/decorated, super clean, and spacious! Really liked the way the standing shower was designed with the rocks flooring and the bath tub looking out to the rice field. The staff was wonderful and always had a smile on their face. From the moment, we stepped onto the property to when we left, the staff was very welcoming and helpful with our luggage. The property is situated in the middle of the rice field so a car can't pull up right in front but the walk was super short (~1 minute) and if you need to go out and catch your ride, the staff always offer to drive you out on a buggy. The walk is super short so sometime we don't even need the buggy. Communicating with the staff regarding our needs (e.g. ordering food, housekeeping, etc.) was very easy with Whatsapp and they were very responsive. We had a balcony in our room that look out to the rice field and had breakfast there every morning to enjoy the beautiful view. There is a bottom pool and a top pool where you also get a good view of the rice field. The location within 30 min car ride to a lot of attractions (e.g. temples, waterfalls, elephant park, etc.). The only thing I could think of is the way the bedsheet and pillow smell. They smell like stale water or when you leave your laundry in the washing machine after a while and forget to take them out to dry, it has this stale water smell. Not sure if it was only our bedsheets (since it didn't bother us that much to ask them for new one) or just the way the bedsheet was washed.

Really loved the staff, the fact that it was in a rural place, you dont hear the hislt bustle of Ubud, very great to relax.

There were no places to eat nearby, the closest was 1 hr walk except for local warung. So, had to eat dinner in the hotel the first night. Ordered chicken burger and nasi goreng chicken which were just okay but could be far better because the American breakfast with Balinese coffee was soo delicious.
