    There wasn't much to like. The room I was given was in a dark, unlit corner. There wasn't enough parking spots. Upon checking in I had to use the window from outside while it was rainy and windy. The associate helping me was extremely slow. And the wifi signal would only stay connected at 1 or less bars in only a small spot near the door.

    There was no breakfast facilities in the lobby just coffee and one morning the lobby was locked at7:30. Condition showed lack of upkeep. No eating facilities located near the motel so it you don’t drive you don’t eat. See above comments

    People outside smoking weed in front of the rooms, while sitting on the stairs blocking access to the 2nd floor. Mold and mildew in the room causi g unpleasant smells. Roaches and other bugs crawling around. Bedding was not properly cleaned.

    The faucet was broken, I informed the front desk but never fixed. They only make up the bed and change towels but never mob the stained floor. Couch is filthy. You get what you pay for when you stay at a cheap hotel.

    The TV and Phone was not functioning at all. There were other guest outside loud making noise till 2am. I kept hearing and feeling doors slam closed. I actually left between 3am to 4am because I couldn't take it anymore

    Came in handy for last minute reservations The door didn’t shut all the way i didn’t feel safe . The wifi doesn’t work, loud people through out the night. Cat problem also. (Couch was dirty not cleaned at all)

    I am disabled and the room was ADA compliant. Shower chair and grab bar. Just needed a coffee maker to earn a 10 rating. Needed coffee and coffee maker.

    1) arrived and the young lady at the front desk was very nice. That was the only good part of the whole stay. She handed me the key to my non-smoking room. 2) opened the door and found that the non-smoking room REEKED of cigarettes. Not a little. A lot. Everything stunk. 3) returned to front desk and explained situation to the young lady. Her response was “it is a non-smoking room, but the previous occupant smoked in there.” So, that means it’s not a non-smoking room anymore, right? She then informed me that there was no other two bed room available. Awesome. 4) returned to the stinking room because it was that or sleep in my vehicle. As I closed the door, I saw that there was a lot of hair and dirt stuck to the back of said door. See pic 5) went to the bathroom, looked up, saw the vent in a shocking state of brokenness 6) took a shower and the water drained so slowly I thought it wasn’t draining at all. After a 10 minute shower, the drain took over five minutes to allow all of the water out. Yes, I timed it. 7) went to “breakfast” at 7 AM. Nothing was there. Asked the guy at the front desk if breakfast was available and he stated at me like I was speaking Latin. Overall, just don’t stay here. Stay anywhere else.

    The rooms were very shabby and need repairs. First room I was assigned was very bad with toilet seats on floor. Dresser drawer in 2nd room was broken and laying on the floor. No bedside lamp. No extra toilet paper as there is no place to store it. Had to ask for extra hangers as only a couple in the room. Manager was very cooperative but that did not change the condition of the rooms as I had rented 2 and both were about the same.

    We left one day early because the Hurricane Beryl cut off all the power. We slept there for 2 nights without AC. Extremely hot. I wish the hotel will give us refund. Thanks.

    The lady checking us in wouldnt open the lobby so we could get out of the weather until we stated repeatedly that we couldnt hear her through the window speaker. It was only 6:30PM. The room was supposed to be non smoking but had the smell of smoke. The doors and curtains were extremely dirty and the smoke detector was missing. Didnt dare step barefoot on the floor or in the shower. If we could have received a refund we would have asked for it and found somewhere else to stay. I do not recommend this hotel for any stay.

    The lady checking us in wouldnt open the lobby so we could get out of the weather until we stated repeatedly that we couldnt hear her through the window speaker. It was only 6:30PM. The room was supposed to be non smoking but had the smell of smoke. The doors and curtains were extremely dirty and the smoke detector was missing. Didnt dare step barefoot on the floor or in the shower. If we could have received a refund we would have asked for it and found somewhere else to stay.

    Is not good for someone who has had surgery asked the lady if they had a eoom with rails in the bathtub and she said no which is odd u would think they would..rooms are clean but the toilet was leaking water but good area for dinning and shopping

    The check in clerk was not helpful. I was initially unable to produce a current driver’s license. ( it had just expired). I did have other photo I. D. but was told to call you and ask for refund. I did find the proper and current license to then check in. 4 other forms apparently didn’t work. I was frustrated, but never lost temper, although close.

    Front desk staff was welcoming and very responsive. The king rooms we got have mini fridges, microwaves, and in-wall hairdryers. However, most do not work. The room has a nice layout. I wasn't bothered by not having a remote for the TV since I used the desk area and my laptop anyway. This is not a Marriott, but if you want a well priced, convenient, and comfortable place to rest, with responsive management, then this is a very good choice.

    My service dog and my family and i were treated horribly. I was demanded to get my service dog back to my room right away and not to walk my sevice dog with me which i am to have my service dog with me to help me get around incase i loose my balance. I am going blind plus i have issues with balance and the lady in the office started yelling at me at the window and then when she came around to the side door outside to give me the cold drink that i bought started screaming at me to get my dog away and back in the room at once. I am a disabled woman and should have never been treated this way.

    Not a Traveler Friendly Hotel. No access to the lobby, you must go to a small walk-up window. Since the hotel is right off of a busy freeway (I-45) you can barely hear what they are trying to say. Not sure what the purpose of making your guest stand outside in the cold instead of allowing access to the lobby. No heat in the room, had to get a space heater that required an additional $20 Cash Deposit. Room was not very clean especially the bathroom. Hair in shower and floors, hole in bathroom door. Faucet not attached properly. Property looked much better in the pictures than what it actually was.

    The Scottish Inn is amazing! I have stayed at this location multiple times. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The service is wonderful and the price is very budget friendly. They have very reasonable weekly rates at well. If you are in the spring area and are looking for a place to stay…..give the Scottish Inn a try!

    The room was dirty, no heat, and employees would not help or give me another room. Smoke detectors were covered with a plastic bag, and sprinkler heads were painted. I have pictures of the smoke detector and sprinklers.

    Terrible experience. Manager was visibly annoyed when I reported that my hot water wasn’t working, TV was frozen on one channel, toilet leaked water from underneath onto the floor and heater wasn’t working. I asked for a different room and was refused. Was told there was nothing that could be done. Hotel was maybe at half capacity. Reported to Travelocity and the manager denied she even talked to me. I had video of all the issues I am reporting them to the Board of Health. Absolutely disgusting place and terrible management. STAY AWAY FROM HERE!!!

    I have stayed here on different occasions. The hotel is always clean, the staff is friendly and efficient. It’s been the reason that I keep returning for another stay. The showers are great and the ac and heat have been excellent in the rooms! They are accommodating and the price is amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel for your future stays.

I called Expedia back again & they reached out to the hotel to find a solution. The only solution the hotel would allow was to cancel my paid reservation which was $260 & pay for a new one. Which I could not afford until the money went back on my card. So, the only option I had left was to pay for today the 1st again. Which by the way instead of the $53 a night I booked, now became $73. I will not be staying at this hotel again.

    I do not ever leave reviews but felt that I needed to leave one for this place. First started with a call from the hotel to verify my stay about 2 1/2 hours after check in time. I have never had a hotel do this, even when I cheked in several hours after check in time. Upon arrival the lobby was closed. I had to check in through a small window at around 5:30 in the afternoon, guessing this is where after hour check in happens? There was a few people outside in the area of the parking lot with the bbq pits which seemed kind of sketchy. The room itself seemed clean but tv remote wasn't even the remote for a tv but what seemed to be a dvd remote with rusty batteries. Was awoken at 1AM by a random woman who knocked on the door not once but twice and when I looked out the door, she had left. I looked out the window and there was a man BBQing??? Who makes BBQ at 1 in the morning? I would not stay here again, too many questionable people hanging around. When checking out, the lobby was still closed-don't know if it is ever open. Seems odd that a hotel does not have a lobby that someone staying there can't enter. I was with my children and my daugther told me the next day that the hotel made her feel unsafe.

The check in is basically what you do in a cinema hall - They speak on the mike from inside and you pass on your card and ID through a small opening at the bottom. 2) Almost all rooms are smoking rooms. Or at least the smoke seeps through other rooms. We changed 3 rooms and at the end had to accept the one that smelled the least of cigarettes. The receptionist acted like we were at fault by trying to breathe too much and behaved it’s a pretty normal smell. 3) Almost 5 minutes after checking in, we spotted cockroaches that would run away and hide behind the small cracks in the walls. 4) No breakfast is served, but is advertised in Expedia. Not sure it’s property’s fault or the Expedia’s. ( To Expedia’s credit, they gave me a few points to compensate the lack of BF) It is at most 4/10 property( I AM being generous here)

    sticker on the door saying something from the county that they were under the wrong name. Girl in the window and speaker was not very nice. Room was OK, except for the people yelling at each other about who knows what at 0300AM. Cable was almost all Spanish channels, coke machine and ice machine were out of order. Will know better than to stay here again. Hotels.com needs to check the places out before giving them a descent review. I was not happy at all not getting much sleep for 2 days. Only good thing was the bed seemed comfortable.
