The pictures of the hot tub are a total lie. They took a picture of a water feature to make it look like it was a hot tub but it was a little shelf of water that you couldn't get in. There was a TINY broken hot tub to the side not shown in the pictures because it was not hot. The woman at the front desk said no, it's a whirlpool so it doesn't get hot. But also the jets were broken as well. They specifically say hot tub on the amenities list and feature a picture of something that is not a hot tub.

The only thing I liked about that hotel was leaving it. Filthy and beat up. Computers were down and they put me in a room where a man had already checked in. Not a good start for a female traveling alone!

Very poor

Breakfast was ok, same choices pretty much everyday. I checked into the hotel 02-20, and the first room smelled like a basement with mildew. They switched the room and when I asked for service although they stated it was every other day it never happened. I did receive towels and cleaned what I could on my own. I advised the supervisor, he did absolutely nothing and housekeeping lied about offering service.

Not much. The desk staff were kind Roaches, chipped tiles, trash in plants by elevators, carpet pulled away from bed base by 2”, walls had gashes 5inches wide through out the facility

It was clean. The beds were comfortable. Most of the staff was nice, accommodating, and willing to fix any issues we had. It was dated. The door to my room was jammed and we couldn’t get in. A lot of the paint on the walls was scratched. The continental breakfast was supposed to begin at 7:00am. We arrived at 7:30am and it still wasn’t set up yet.

When we arrived, the young man at the desk was polite and friendly. Check in was quick and uneventful; however, we had reserved a room with two queens as there were three of us ladies including my elderly mother. When we got to our room, it was a room with a king bed and a couch. The front desk told us that it was okay because the couch was a pullout couch. When I came back down and asked to cancel in order to find a hotel that could meet our needs, he rearranged some other rooms to get us back into a double queen. Again, the young man at the desk was polite and trying to be accommodating, but this situation of changing our reservation without notifying us until we opened the room door combined with the condition of the hotel was not a positive experience.

Hotel needs to be remodeled. You can see the wear and tear throughout the whole building. Trees need to be trimmed. One tree between the parking lot and service road has branches too low and you cannot see if any cars are coming and makes it very hard to pull out. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was good.

We had requested a Handicap equipped room several days prior to arrival. When we got there on Nov. 27 we were told that someone extended their stay and several rooms were not cleaned. We will never go back there!

Always have a great experience at this location! The staff are friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and spacious, and there are a lot of things to do in the area. I specifically choose this location when traveling.

Room was spotless and staff was great.

The PEOPLE! Exceptionally friendly, happy and helpful. I am a loss for their names atm, but both ladies at check in are an ASSET to the Marriott brand. The bed was comfy,tv worked great, AC nice and cold. Breakfast is plentiful. The staff is doing the best with what they have to work with. There's no sense in going through the list of things that are in dire need of attention and repair. It would be a very long list indeed. We had one Huge (already obviously busted up) framed photo fall of the wall in the middle of the night. SCARY! Faucet handles not operable. Sink paint peeling in chunks lol. We had to laugh, or we'd cry. BUT... This hotel was Just recently approved for total renovation!! I know they must be thrilled. I honestly am happy for their glow up and we will return.
- 5/5
Great
- 3/5
Staff was terrific. The building and the furnishing need some TLC. Safety locks (both of them) on the door didn't work in the first or second room. Yellow chair/surface by the lobby elevator was stained and no. Just no. Marks all over the lower walls/floor there + in the elevators. Some pictures are missing from above the needs-to-be-cleaned yellow seat thing. I've stayed in this hotel a number of times, been a year or so between this time and last. Big difference.
- 3/5
Room was clean. Hotel seemed outdated
- 4/5
You are near The Woodlands. It is easy to find off I-45 and to get to The Woodlands (about 8 minutes).
- 1/5
Was charged by you and by hotel!!!
- 1/5
Dirty outdated rooms
- 0.5/5
Nothing it was terrible Room was dirty mold on wall and ceiling beds were extremely uncomfortable. And I was double charged for the visit.
- 5/5
Quiet and breakfast Have no dislikes
- 2/5
The pool was nice and the pillows were comfortable. This is an older property, and could really stand to be renovated. The porcelain was coming apart in the sink in the bathroom. The sofa in the room is visibly worn out. Finally, there is just an overall odor as you walk to the halls.
- 3/5
Exterior looks newer, inside hallways and rooms are weary. Peeling paint on doors, a/c that cools but doesn't remove the humidity (maintenance issue), toilet didn't work in the first room so we were moved to another where the sink faucet and toilet paper holder were never anchored to their respective places (flopped around, both of them). Cruddy caulk in the bath in need of renewing. A used bandaid fell out of the lil basket that holds the coffee packets, lordy. Unlike any other Fairfield or Marriot I've stayed in. All that said, the room was very well soundproofed so that the deafening interstate traffic was absolutely not a problem at all, which was wonderful.
- 2/5
The hotel wasn't very pleasant. It had nothing to do with the service, but rather with the hotel's upkeep. The carpets, lobby, and rooms were dirty and smelled bad, and the walls were dirty and damaged. I wouldn't stay there again.
- 2.5/5
The hallways were hot and smelly, They were not air conditioned. The facilities were old and need updating. Wall paper pealing off the walls, fixtures old and rusty.
- 4/5
Pool area was not working right. Breakfast was very disappointing. Staff very friendly and helpful. When we stay places breakfast and pool are our favorite.
- 4/5
It is overall a good place to stay the staff was very nice. But the pool and hot tub were out of commission on a holiday weekend
- 4/5
Higher end looking hotels should concentrate on the little things. Sink clogged, table leg broken off, over caulking in the restroom, one of two ice machines broken, and severe scratches all over the walls and doors (touch up paint). But the service people were very friendly and helpful! Got us in a new room quick.
- 3.5/5
The location and restaurants around it One of the bed had stains in the sheets. I spoke to the hotel attendant at night who said they would come change the sheets. They didn't until the next day when I asked again. Also, the hotel itself has outdated carpet in the rooms and hallways need to be repainted.
- 1/5
Staff was rude and room was dirty. Had to be moved twice.
- 1.5/5
It was convenient. Had to call hotel to get someone to come out to check us in. No hand soap. No hot water at night. Sheets were wet. Bed was the worst i have ever slept in. Not much selection on hot breakfast.
- 4/5
The staff was friendly The bathroom had mold on the ceiling. The shower sounded like i was going to fall through. The pillows were too soft.
- 2/5
Smelled like mold and paint.
- 3/5
The bed was comfortable but my room smells like mildew. The first room I was assigned to was open and television was on and I had to get another room. My friend had to be move to another room because television didn't work. The property need some updates.
- 3/5
Not in good conditions, Not clean. Need renovations ,Outdated..Picture in apps are misleading.not worth of money spent in comparision.
- 4/5
Easy to access. And the rooms were nice
- 3/5
The properties condition was mediocre.
- 5/5
Everything was great
- 4/5
Staff - EXCELLENT! Room - EXCELLENT! Beds - COMFORTABLE!! A/C - COLD! Couldn't add for anything better. Thank you to the staff.
- 5/5
Very enjoyable stay. I look forward to staying there during my travels to San Antonio. The staff are very accommodating. The cleaning staff are to be commended for a very good job.
- 3/5
We stayed there for a couple of days recently since we drove in for my nephews graduation party, when we checked in the person at the front desk was nice. The elevator floor was sticky, the hallway floors looked like they hadn’t been vacuumed they were dirty and there was a smell in the hallway and was very stuffy, the room had a weird smell when we walked in it was very stuffy and warm it took a long time to get it at a decent temperature, the mini fridge was disgusting, the sheets on one of the beds look like it hasn’t been cleaned, the sink was extremely cracked and looked dirty for the amount that we paid, I expected it to be a little bit nicer inside. I think the pictures posted were kind of deceiving. Luckily, we didn’t spend a lot of time in the room because we are so busy and we had brought a couple of our own little blankets we did not use the fridge since it was nasty and used the Clorox wipes I had in my bag to wipe up the hair on the bathroom floor and the sink. The only good thing I can say is that the people that work at the front desk were friendly at check-in and at check out, but we will not be staying here again, and I won’t recommend this hotel unfortunately
- 4/5
Only thing was a/c made strange noises, but still worked well. The only negative about the appearance of the hotel was that the halls needed fresh paint. There was scuffs along the hallway walls.
- 5/5
The property is centrally located close to everything. Our room was clean, very important. The whole facility was clean and the breakfast in the morning was great. I will definitely stay there again!
- 3/5
When we turned on the tv, different name of guest showed up. There were some clothes left in the drawer assuming from previous guest. Elevator floors(tiles) were cracked. Beside all that, the breakfast was great.
- 5/5
good place for one night business trip
- 3/5
Unfortunately, overall, it feels like the property is rundown and understaffed. The hotel was completely booked one night with only one staff member on site doing everything from checking in to room maintenance to house keeping. They were over-booked and many families we traveled with did not get the rooms they reserved and were left with 1 King bed for an entire family. The sole staff member on site was left to deal with this mess alone. Not his fault, he worked as hard as he could but you have to wonder what’s going on that’s he was in that position. Furthermore, many rooms had broken TVs and the pool was not swimmable and had not been cleaned. Both of these were pretty big disappointments for families traveling in the summer. This property needs more resources and to be appropriately staffed and it could be a great option for an affordable family stay.
- 2/5
Checked in at 8:30 PM and there was no receptionist on site. We had to call her at a number left at the desk and wait 10 minutes for her to drive back from wherever she was.
- 2/5
Glass in pool, tiles broken and falling off in the pool. Two of our friends children cut their feet on the bottom of the pool. Front desk receptionist was extremely rude.
- 3/5
Pool had broken bricks, rips in the carpet of the rooms, scratches down the walls. Breakfast was okay. Little worn down feeling and old.
- 3/5
We called multiple times to get additional pillows and a blanket with no answer at the front desk. We went down twice and there were also people waiting to be checked in with no staff in sight. We waited at least 20 minutes for someone to come help. They said they would send our items up to our room, but they never came.
- 5/5
Fast, easy check-in
- 5/5
The stay was great
- 5/5
The state was real good. Everybody was real friendly. I really like the breakfast. The only thing I would say just because I work out all the time is you might want to upgrade your workout department.
- 5/5
They pay attention to details, we got a nice first-time treat bag.
- 5/5
Front desk was very friendly and welcoming
- 5/5
Good
- 4/5
Ariel at front desk provided excellent customer service! She was attentive and knowledgeable. She made my check in process smooth and easy.
- 1/5
I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. We walked in the room has a nasty smell to it, a lamp is broke, tv is broken as well, and the lamp next to the bed looks like throw up on the shade. Not cleanliness at all. The guy who checked us in didn’t tell us what room we are when breakfast was nor where the elevator was we had to ask everything. Overall if we didn’t pay in advance and it wasn’t 1am we would have found a different hotel to stay at.
- 1/5
Worst dirtiest hotel very uncomfortable and unacceptable place !!!! And I’m a Marriott reward member
- 3/5
They are currently renovating. Our room wasn’t perfectly clean… but the sink in the bathroom was painted with what looked like wall paint in a hurry. That felt odd. I didn’t mind the location, and I’m sure it’ll be better once they are done. Until then it was just average.
- 2/5
The light flickered constantly when it was turned on. Added to that based on the position of the hotel Relative To the highway it was one of the noisiest rooms I’ve ever stayed in.
- 5/5
Safe clean
- 5/5
Ariel was very friendly and got us checked in ver quickly. The hotel was recently renovated and it was nice. We enjoyed the breakfast buffet. Plenty of parking.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
I loved the good attitude of the workers. I can’t remember names but reception young lady and the other girls did very good service
- 5/5
Very friendly desk clerk. Carpet in room not real clean and worn out
- 4/5
Everything was fine. Breakfast was inedible slop.
- 4/5
The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was comfortable. They are in the midst of renovations so understanding of the "unpolished" look inside in certain areas. Will stay at this chain again, first time staying at Fairfield.
- 5/5
Everything is fine, every time. Excellent for the money. The breakfast is better than what’s offered at most hotels at this price point.
- 4/5
Definitely an older hotel.Room could use some freshener. Smelled old and musky. Bed was soft, gym had everything we needed. Loved the staff when we checked in.
- 2/5
The hotel was run down and old smelling. My room smelled like mold and mildew. Needs serious updates
- 5/5
Clean and quiet.
- 3/5
First room they gave me had a dead TV. Second room they gave me had a cockroach in the bathroom. I killed it right away. The bed and the sheets were average, the shower and the bathroom were excellent.
- 4/5
It’s was ok.
- 3/5
Room smelled like an pet was there
- 2/5
Dirty bathroom. Dirty floor.
- 1/5
Our room was muggy and smelled like mildew, sheets were clean but I felt gross and dirty in this place. Stains on towels and lampshades.
- 5/5
Site may have been under construction
- 1/5
Cleaning service never cleaned my room, colleague had a roach and mold in his room
- 1/5
I did like anything about the hotel, the smell and mold gave us the worse headache, the bathroom shower curtain holder fell on my head, I was too terrified after that.
- 5/5
The staff is very respectful and very professional
- 3/5
Breakfast was disappointing
- 4/5
Was clean and staff was helpful and friendly
- 5/5
We stayed one night. We were very happy with everything about the hotel. We would stay there again.
- 1/5
Horrible upkeep with conditions. Water would not drain on shower or sink paint was chipped the walls were falling aprart
- 3/5
The TV did not work. The sink was cracked and didn’t have a stopper. Some of the lights didn’t work. The room was clean and it was a quiet location. No one was at the front desk to check on the tv.
- 1/5
Unfortunately, I was unable to make the stay. We had a death in family, and I had to cancel the reservation. When I was able to speak to a manager, they never once offered condolences. I was out on a brief hold, and then told I needed to contact Hotels.com to cancel, and then hung up on. TERRIBLE customer service!
- 2/5
Breakfast was terrible. The service was awful
- 5/5
Nice
- 4/5
I enjoyed my room.It was comfy and cozy and had a lot of amenities. I appreciated using the luggage trolley, because I overpacked! Breakfast was pretty good no complaints! Convenient location to the highway and fast food! Did not get to swim. Staff was accommodating and helpful and nice! I loved the smell of the shampoo and lotions they left in my room! My only drawback was the dirty curtains and blackout shade
- 1/5
service poor, out dates needs upgrades
- 2/5
Wife and I stayed 1 night for a tournament nearby. We picked this location over nearby hotels due to reviews but left pretty dissatisfied. Hotel was overbooked and lady at front desk said some people would be pretty upset not getting a room they reserved. When we got to our room it smelled of cigarettes and looked like the cleaning crew rushed to get ready. Towels were dirty sheets had stains, the smell, the bathtub was super slippery and was almost a hazard to take a shower in. Also the back door leading out to the pool was supposed to remain locked and only opened by guest key was completely open the entire stay for anyone to walk in. Very disappointed and could have stayed at the la quinta for less money and would have probably had a better experience. Will not stay again and advise others to do the same. Also met another lady staying at the same hotel that played the tournament we were in town for and she also had bad experiences there stating for the price she expected better.
- 3/5
The bad: the hotel, in general, is tired, sad and in need of renovation! Pool tiles are cracked, loose and broken. Same as elevator floors, etc both in our room and public spaces. Parking is free but the area looks shady and doesn’t look safe.
- 3/5
Overall I am happy with my stay. However I did have an issue with the bedsheets having stains on them twice. I was only staying for one night before a cruise so I decided to just sleep on top of the bed with towels. Other than that I did enjoy this hotel. It does need some work, but had a lovely staff, and a great smell to both the room and lobby. I also appreciated the pool and hot tub. I don't know if I went during a slow period but the hotel felt empty in a good way. I stayed her before my Carnival cruise in Galveston and would consider staying here again. But I would be worried about the bedsheets.
- 5/5
Everyone was very friendly and helpful
- 4/5
Conveniently close to The Pavilion. Great breakfast! A little noisy from the interstate traffic, but overall a nice place and I would stay here again!
- 5/5
I loved everything with my stay
- 5/5
Overall a great stay. The front desk staff were incredibly friendly upon check in. Room was clean and the hotel smelled nice.
- 5/5
Great stay no issues
- 5/5
Great property!
- 5/5
The staff was extremely nice & the rooms were clean
- 1/5
This experience was highly disappointing, and as a result, I have decided that I will never stay at this hotel again. Additionally, I cannot in good conscience recommend this establishment to my family, friends, or anyone else seeking accommodation.( I also have photos)☹️
- 5/5
The Staff was amazing, comfortable room.
- 3/5
Room for the 1st night had several issues:(a) no TV, (b) bathroom lights went out around midnight, (c) room had a very bad odor. We requested a different room for the 2nd night. The second night was ok.
- 5/5
We loved the security and the staff! The rooms were very spacious and clean. We enjoyed our stay overall.
- 4/5
Some broken stuff in room, sink clogged and AC thermostat wasn’t working properly
- 5/5
Clean, cold room and a very friendly front desk! We were there for a softball tournament the weekend after Houston experienced storms with a lot of damage and power outages. The hotel was full but the staff managed it well. We use this hotel often when traveling to Houston/Spring/Conroe for ball and it has always met our expectations.
- 4/5
Hotel very clean and staff nice. Breakfast was just ok.
- 2/5
I’ve stayed at this location once before and u had a good experience. Unfortunately this last stay wasn’t so pleasant. The hotel was under construction, so there was fresh paint on the walls. The smell was so loud that we had to move to another room. The other room was just a slight better. The paint smell was overwhelming. It was just too late to check into another hotel. I’ll probably try again once the remodeling is complete.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our 4 night stay recently. Super friendly and accommodating staff. The property is undergoing renovation and the rooms could use some refreshing.
- 5/5
The property was easy access to the freeway, close to nearby Woodlands Mall and many other great shopping areas. The lady who checked us in was very nice and welcoming, our room was clean, bed was comfortable, and even though we didn't use the pool or gym it looked really nice.
- 5/5
facility lobby and restaurant furniture needs to be cleaned, steamed, chairs are stained.
- 4/5
Good
- 5/5
Friendly staff
- 4/5
The hotel is very nice and much of it has been updated or is in progress of being updated. It has a great lobby area and the rooms are spacious and very nice. We had stayed their two weeks in a row and each time had a problem with something not working in our room. This last time the refrigerator would not keep things cool on it's highest setting and the bulb in the light at the very nice work station was burned out. Both of those were items that we needed, so that it why I did not give the hotel a 5 Star Rating.
- 4/5
I liked the service and everything in the hotel , the only problem was a hot tub / jacuzzi . It didn’t have a filter and it was really dirty . Also hotel was on renovation but it was ok
- 5/5
Great time. Hrlpful staff.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel convenient location
- 4/5
Bad buffet
- 5/5
It was very good
- 1/5
When I first checked in, the front desk lady was nice. When I got to my room, the tv wouldn’t turn on. I had a to call the front desk person over 7x to get an answer. I was told I’d have to change rooms.. I have a 4mo old so lagging his stuff to a diff room is a chore. In the new room, comforter has obvious dirt on it. Called down to the front desk and again no Answer.. very very dissatisfied
- 3/5
Our room had a strong unpleasant smell, the front desk service two of the nights was not great and the breakfast was very subpar.
- 4/5
Comfortable and clean stay
- 3/5
First I want to point out that the front desk was always there to try to resolve issues. Our room upon check-in had a television that was not working. We packed up and moved to another room. The second room had a toilet that had a loose base and the cold water facet did not work, only had hot water. The hotel needs some maintenance but otherwise was pleasant.
- 5/5
They were the most pleasant people that were at the desk. The service was remarkable. I stayed in 307. Can you please go and clean the shower heads with clr. It w needs a little TLC. Other than that I can't wait til my next visit to this hotel
- 5/5
Great hotel. We will be back.
- 3/5
Day two when my room was made up no towel or wash cloth was put in the sink area of the bathroom.day 3 first thing I saw the maid and asked her to please put towel and wash cloth in by the sink. It was not done The hotel was clean and the room was ok
