Hotel Eden

The staff is very attentive. They offer a nice breakfast and have a bar with service by the pool. The renovated rooms are lovely and the location is perfect. We were initially given an older room, very small but they had a cancellation and were able to move us.

The pool area is not good. The beach is not really as close as you think from reading description.

Stayed here in October. Excellent location, a little gem of a hotel in the middle of Sorrento. We got a lovely room with a balcony at the front of the hotel, with sea view. This we had not booked but were delighted upon arrival. Less than 5min walk to the main train/bus station and a couple of hundred metres to the main square. Hotel had street access to front and back of hotel which was great when on foot. Not much parking but ideal if using public transport. Hotel has been done up and looks much better in person than the pictures suggest. Very happy stay here, would definitely recommend if you want safe, accessible, clean and budget friendly hotel. The breakfast was the only weak link of the hotel. Coffee could be better with being in Italy and selection of items wasnt the best but you could make do with breads/yougarts etc

It was in a very convenient location. Enjoyed use of the pool Breakfasts were very good and more than sufficient. Staff member Michel was extremely helpful in suggesting places to see, restaurants etc On several occasions air conditioning had been switched off and we had to request the reception to switch it on again

The location is fantastic and everyone one working there where so helpful and friendly. I will definitely stay at the Hotel Eden if I come back to Sorrento. I only wish there was a kettle on the rooms

The room and shower were too small and the towels didn't smell good.

Breakfast was incredible. The staff was really nice and the hotel has an excellent location. The room was really big and comfy and had a beautiful view The only downside is that our room did not have an elevator. And that the pool closed at six, which was really early.

They folded old towels for us as if it was a room and there was no elevator.

Location, location, location. Breakfast good. Set back from the street allowing additional peace/quiet while being very central. We had to climb a lot of steps to get to our room. The shower was a bit awkward to use.

The property location is very nice. The internet connection was very bad, the lights weren’t working well, the bathroom was smelling terrible all the time, and the breakfast wasn’t good because there was a lack of some important kinds of food like scrambled eggs, croissants and juice.

Location was excellent. Instant acces to city centre. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room was spacious and comfortable. Hotel very clean. Lovely gardens to relax in. Just a few very minor things will improve the experience for guests. Shower gel in the bthroom is stingy. We went out and bought our own. Larger bottles should be supplied. Our bed was lovely and big - but the botton sheet was not big enough to be tucked in both sides, so my side rucked up in the night. Please get some larger sheets. The breakfast is fine, but it could do with upgrading - more hot options would be welcome.

The hotel has clearly been refurbished since the photos on their website. The rooms were large and clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly and nothing seemed like too much trouble. We had fresh towels everyday, toiletries provided and a fridge. It was a perfect location as it was only a couple of minutes walk to the central square. The hotel has two exit points, one of which takes you straight onto the main street heading to the square. It was close to shops and restaurants and only a 10/15 minute walk to the seafront where there were great views of Mount Vesuvius. You could either then walk down to the beaches and port or get the lift down. The pool was a lovely addition especially on hot days although it isn't heated and there is a lovely garden area to sit out in - I imagine both of these would be incredibly welcome in the height of the summer! If I was being hyper-critical I would say the breakfast but only because I would like to have seen a variety of fresh fruit rather than just apples and oranges. There was a good selection of cakes, pastries, bread rolls, meat and cheese and a small selection of cereals and cooked food. Everything was very clean and fresh.

Loved the staff, the breakfast, and the very convenient location.
