Grand Hotel Flora

The staff was amazing it was a late booking. Not only did the staff go above and beyond. They upgraded our room and also wheeled in an extra bed and we didn’t even ask. It was so nice.

The breakfast was really complete! Close to the city center

I feel they they tricked me into paying for an upgrade on a room I already had. They suggested it and showed me the room. When I asked to see my original room, he had to go back and talk to someone for awhile, not knowing a room to show me... then came out and showed me a really crappy room at the bottom that didn't even have the 2 beds they said they would give me. So I really feel they cheated me out of the upgrade. But the Hotel itself was awesome.

Mikalo the waiter at the pool was excellent. Really stingy with the coffee at breakfast .

Bathrooms lacked hooks and towel racks. Magnifying mirror is unusable unless you're very tall.

Staff was friendly, mostly on the dining side. Front desk was polite as well. Accommodations were not aligned with what one would expect from a 4-star hotel. The pictures the property shares to attract guests are 100% not what you get upon arrival. Both my fiancé and I felt extremely misled and disappointed upon arrival. It was old, lacks a view, and in short should be priced around 300-350 per stay. I would highly recommend to those searching for a hotel with exceptional service, views, and accommodations to look elsewhere.

Didn’t expect it to be as amazing as it was I truly was shocked the service the front desk. The breakfast was great. The people were great.! It’s location. Also great! And I would definitely recommend getting a pool view. Everything was great no complaints. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.

The room was very spacious, clean and the location was great for the value! The breakfast wasn’t very tasty. You might as well save money on breakfast and try better Italian food and coffee. Also the bathroom of our room smelled like cigarettes sometimes which was odd.

The staff are wonderful! Location is very convenient, as we were traveling as a large family with children. Did not need a vehicle or to rely on taxi. The pool was too cold (October). The bar area could use some decor and brightening up

Beautiful and spacious room. We were moved to a room with a balcony which offered a view of the water.

The staff was truly wonderful – always smiling, kind, and very helpful in explaining everything. The rooms were beautiful, newly renovated and modern (after I upgraded and moved to the new, clean side of the hotel). The location was perfect – right at the entrance to Sorrento, with everything within walking distance and no need for a car. Overall, a great stay! The only downside was that my original booking didn’t mention I would be placed in the old, non-renovated side of the hotel. In that room, I had to call reception every time I wanted the air conditioning turned on, which was very inconvenient and made it difficult to enjoy my stay there. Eventually, I paid extra to move to the newly renovated side, and from that point on I was really satisfied.

Rooms were a great surprise.
