• Boutique Experience: A small and quiet hotel with only 8 rooms. The aesthetics are on point—long pool, black-and-white tiles, chandeliers, and palm trees make it a perfect place to relax. • The Room (Pool View Suite): I had the luck to have the pool view suite, the biggest room there! Felt like a king—the bed is very comfortable, the shades block most sunlight, and the shower pressure was good. I appreciated the large balcony area with both a big sofa lounger and a table. • The Pool: Salt pool with perfect temperature, the highlight of the villa for me! Enjoyed swimming several times of day, doing laps and just relaxing. Strangely, I was the only one using it 95% of the time. • Location & Surrounding Area: Seminyak beach is a 5 minutes walk away, perfect place to finish the day and watch the sunset (there’s simple tables there to have coconut/beers and you can rent nice chair loungers for 50K IDR… also many high-end beach clubs close). As Casa Artista is located a bit outside the busy city center, there’s not many places close-by but there’s at least 2 to 3 good restaurants and convenience stores in walking distance. For anywhere further, grab come pick you up at the door! • Amenities: Good wi-fi, strong AC plus all amenities are provided including a fridge, hair dryer, and a safe. • Staff & Service: Very polite and kind staff; I was surprised by the size of the crew and they constantly take care of the hotel grounds. Communication was proactive before check-in and throughout the stay on WhatsApp. • Extra Services: I did not use them but the hotel offers extra spa services like affordable in-room massages and breakfast. • Issue: Biggest annoyance was the room door not closing properly; I had to continuously lock the door (both from inside and outside) otherwise the door doesn’t close properly and the cold air escapes. • Privacy/Signage: A “no disturb sign” or “please clean room” to put on the door would have been nice. One day I decided to sleep in late but was awakened to ask if I wanted the room clean. • Arrival: The street leading to the hotel is a bit dodgy (although safe) and the lack of a clear sign of the hotel’s name makes the place harder to find. Luckily, I was greeted upon arrival!

We like the quiet location and courtyard pool with plants. The villa has lovely Italianate style, comfortable communal kitchen which we didn’t use and we welcomed provision of filtered water and their efforts to be eco friendly. Staff when available were friendly. There was a strong smell from the drains each time we took a shower. The net curtains were dirty with mould stains which we told the staff. A little more attention to details would make this place really nice. Near to beaches and restaurants but walking very difficult due to narrow roads and incessant traffic.

The room was spacious and comfortable and the bathroom facilities were very good. I had a lovely breakfast from their kitchen which was delivered to my room. Great staff and a super quiet location and a nice pool. The one thing that could have been better was if the air con had a little more power.

there were some black little bugs and the bathroom smell was not good

Very spacious, comfortable, and clean room. Pool and courtyard area was also very clean and relaxing.

The service The Ac

I loved how beautiful the property is and how private my room was with its own balcony. The way in is a bit tricky and best on a scooter. They have security at the front so no one can really get into the proerty as its the only way in and out. loved the aesthetics and the pool. Staff are very friendly and helpful It's old, but as long as you know that it's super sweet. Shower head and water pressure could have been a bit better. other than that nothing was wrong.

The staff was friendly, the bathroom's huge The poolview room reeked of mold and made me sick, the facility was incredibly old even by Bali standards, the interior was straight out of the late 2000s, the chairs next to the pool were woven so ants were crawling through the little holes

The location is very good! 5min walk to the beach and out of noisy/busy areas quite peaceful and quiet There are convenient shops coffee shops laundry shops etc so you literally have everything you need around The swimming pool is not regularly cleaned and quite some leaves always in due to the wind

Nice ambiance, good staff. Full time care taker at the location will be an added benefit for gusts. absence of night staff at the location

The water heater takes like 4 mins to heat the water , its not a major thing but just to mention, anything else was perfect

Super location super services

I loved the staff, location, price and environment I started getting bites all over my body, I put them down to mosquitoes however on my 2nd last day I woke up with copious amounts all over my face, hands and body. When packing my suitcase to leave I saw a bed bug, then found them all through my clothes. The mattress and bed frame appeared very old so I’m thinking it was unfortunately full of bed bugs!

The location was close to the beach and Seminyak square. The junior suite access was through a spiral metal staircase. It was hard to take luggage through the small space.

Disappointing Experience – Poor Communication and Maintenance After a long and tiring journey, we arrived at Casa Artis
