Residenza Viviani

Susie is an amazing and most hospitable host. You can tell that she really cares for her home and guests! She offers a lot of suggestions and help, and it’s easy to get in touch with. Her breakfasts on the patio are an added bonus to start the day off right. Susie and the home itself is wonderful! We just wish we had a vehicle when we were staying here. The road going down to the main street is rather narrow and busy with no sidewalks, so while we managed fine with our adult children, I imagine it might be a bit challenging walking with young children and/or strollers. We opted to use a taxi when we came back each day. So if you do have a car, that would make the stay a little bit easier!

Very nice facilities. Fresh figs for breakfast. Too much sweet things for breakfast. Would appreciate some cheese , salami and normal bread. 45 minutes walk from the center. Suzy took us by car so that was no problem.

The breakfast was amazing. It was set with homemade jams and marmalades. Susy was amazing and we stay in touch well after our vacation. The place is immaculate. Strong AC for summer visits. This place is super family friendly and easy going. Susy speaks English and we got to know Napolitan hospitality first hand. She's grown up around here and her parents live in Capri so her advice is sound. She pent 45 minutes upon check in giving us the rundown on maps with favorite places to eat and see. Book this place without hesitation but understand you need to walk a bit to get to the busy touristy places and it is a slight uphill. Nothing. This is a perfect place to get away from the craziness of Positano and make as a home base. It's a little far from the Amalfi coast as there are no trains to get there. You need a car, take a bus, or scooter for 30 minutes or more. That said the train stating is a 10 min walk and 1 stop from Sorrento. Or walk 15 minutes and take a bus that costs minimal and gets you there in 10 minutes or so. She has a place for a car if you need to park. If going to Capri. Stay here. Take a ferry. Then take a prebooked boat tour. Get off the tour and get a taxi to the top that will save you loads of headaches and lines in the summer.

The rooms were big, clean, and nicely decorated. Beds were comforable. Breakfasts were huge. Susy was extremely nice and very helpful, offering tips for restaurants and local attractions. We would come back there any time. We would recommend Res. Viviani to anybody including friends and family. Wonderful experience!!

We ordered 2 nights at the Residenza Viviani. The facility has large B&B (2 rooms) clean and well maintained, located about 2 km from the center of Sorrento (very close and easy to access). We arrived at night and Susy (the owner) was waiting for us outside to make sure we’ll find the place. The hospitality was excellent, Susy was very kind, polite and informative, we took the breakfast in the garden and it was rich breakfast. In the room, there were plenty of snacks and drinks. Nothing

We love the owner, Susy. She was very helpful and informative since I booked the property. Her response was fast and detail. We booked one room and we got another one extra. What a pleasant surprise.. the breakfast was great.. Susy prepared everything for us with great attention to detail. Morning talk with her with her informative inputs are so perfect. Those have made our trip more efficient and mostly covered everything..No need to worries about the parking space. All secured and safe. Grazie per il vostro aiuto e i vostri consigli, senza dimenticare la colazione che è perfetta ✨ Rima & Stéphane. We just need more days to explore. Too bad we didn't have enough days for our weekend getaway.. Nothing we don't like really. We hope we can come back again and stay in her place again. .
