The hotel had an old musty smell. The room when you turned the heat on smelled the same so we had to turn it off. There was a roach near the exit door that stayed there for 1 full day. When they did clean it up, the residue of the dead roach was still there all the days we stayed. The staff were nice. The breakfast they offered didn't have many choices. It was ok.

Horrible experience… I got 3 nights end ended up leaving on the first night. Roaches, dirty sheets, have to carry your luggage upstairs no elevators, microwave and fridge had a dirty rag nasty smell to it. Breakfast looked disgusting and was very dirty over all.

The place needs an upgrade although it was very clean. The front desk staff need to work on being more customer friendly service. It seems the staff were overworked or understaffed. The towels need to be replaced too very dingy and rough.

The room was decent, not immaculate, but it was fine for one night. I really appreciate the staff accommodating us by switching out one of our rooms for a room with 2 beds. We checked in pretty late (almost midnight). By the time we got settled, it was about 2 am and there was so much noise that we could barely sleep. I have no idea what the neighbors were doing, but the noise was so loud that the front desk attendant called at 2:30am and said there was a noise complaint. I said it’s not us, we can hear it too and it’s keeping us awake. The breakfast was horrible and very skimpy. There was no ice in the ice machine. I just felt like amount was too pricey for the poor atmosphere. Would not stay again.

Very basic hotel. Minimal on everything (threadbare towels, powdered eggs, microwaved sausage, out of juice). If there is a cheap option for whatever they were purchasing it was what they got. The lobby smells terrible like the workers have been cooking their personal food in the kitchen.

Did not have enough time to evaluate. Construction in area made it a little difficult to find the place. Didn't see any food places. The room was clean and towels and toiletries available.

I think 💭 it's ok. But like a family stay No it's not a good place. Walked in the room the TV wasn't working correctly, they came in to fix it and it worked for a little while and back to the same. In the morning Hot 🔥 water was a major problem if you flushed the toilet you would run out of hot water. The sauge links were raw. The front desk clerk eating right at the desk where you checked in. Just a total disappointment with this stay. No elevator for the hotel.

Breakfast was not good, coffee was water down and asking the.young lady at the front desk to fix it was a bother. Room was dirty, and also found bed bugs.

Absolutely, nothing. This hotel needs a visit from the state health department. My door did not shut nor lock. The whole entire facility rank of a foul smell. The non-smoking room smelt of smoke. The bathroom shower contained a black mold filled rug. The front desk attendant was very rude and refused to swap rooms.

Room was good and clean. We were surprised that upon checking in, we were required to leave a $50 cash damage (?) deposit, which we could get back when we checked out. We could have put it on a charge card; but were told the return could take up to 2 weeks. No receipt for the cash was offered, so we made them write a receipt on a scrap of paper. Then, at 5 am when we needed to leave, we had to take the extra time to track someone down to inspect it in order to get our cash back. It seemed kind of like a scam to us. NEVER had to leave a cash deposit on a room before.

For short stays, housekeeping now requires guests to go to the front desk for fresh towels while placing used towels and trash outside the room for pickup. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it’s something to be aware of. The location was excellent and close to everything I needed, which made getting around easy. The staff very rude as if we were bothering THEM to stay there. Not much for breakfast. Very cheap. We were in a handicap room and the shower head had no hose attached so I had to ask the front desk. The woman became argumentive because she could't explain why no hose attached.

I could understand if the windows were open they were not. I did stay two night in two different rooms however the service night was a night mare. I had to check out bcuz of it. I did get a refund that still isn't in my account yet. But the overall stay sucked. Pick someplace else br u stay

It was a place to sleep. It looked run down, there was a bunch of stray cats everywhere, the room seemed clean-ish, air conditioner was noisy, it was cheap and that's about it.

A great value hotel. The property was very clean. I had a teen and a 10 yr old in tow. Would definitely stay here again. I made a mistake with my booking. The hotel was very helpful and resolved my issue beyond my expectations. Very grateful.

The only complaint I have is that I could not adjust the shower head. It was a fixed shower head. And, unknowingly, I requested an ADA accessible room. So, the shower head really should be a wand and at minimum, movable.

Construction on 35 made it hard to navigate in and out of property. Old building and with that comes old building properties. That being said, the staff was kind and helpful. Seemed to be doing everything they can with that property. The lobby got real warm in the morning for breakfast. Aside from that its exactly what you pay for. A clean, cheap bed just for the night.

The property is good, the rooms are comfortable. But it is an old renovated property with poor finishes and the breakfast was not good, as in the batter was sour for the waffles and the food was greasy. But the price is great and the location was near the Witte museum which was the reason.

The check in was fine no problems but did need to pay a deposit. Once we came in the room the room looked okay but once we layed in the bed the bed made noise and was uneven and it leans to one side. Not the cleanest room. The couch was dirty. The restroom sink had hairs on it. And the shower head wasn’t throwing good water.

I liked the value of the price of the hotel for a last minute family trip, and the distance from everything. I didn't like that we didn't get room service, we had to go to the main desk and ask for more toilet paper at one point.. and when we went to breakfast there was only cereal, eggs and apples available..

The staff was extremely rude. The sheets in my suite had holes burned in them from a cigarette or some type of smoking device in them. I asked for the sheets to be replaced and the ones replaced had stains all over them. After finding the burned sheets in a suite that wreaked of cigarette smoke— I asked the concierge, skinny Indian man with a patchy beard (they don’t have name tags) to switch rooms. He denied my request causing me to have an asthma attack in the middle of the night. I would have left but he forced me to stay by denying my request for refund. I told him that I’d need to cancel the booking for health reasons and that I’d need to contact Expedia. Then he threatened me and told me that he would do whatever he could to prevent me from getting my money back and going somewhere else. The next morning during check-out the concierge Maha (woman/indian) was EXTREMELY rude. I tried to check out and get a receipt as proof that my deposit would be refunded & she told me to shut up because it was early and she didn’t feel like talking. MY STAY WAS FOR LESS THAN 24 HOURS! It is unacceptable that I dealt with threats, FILTHY facilities, 0 accommodations, and disgusting customer service. DO NOT STAY HERE! It was a waste of money especially when there are nicer hotels in the area for the same price.

This is not a hotel. It is a motel and also a very dirty place, especially bedsheet and towels horrible all stain and super dirty don't waste money here .

It was very disappointing. I felt unsafe I checked in then left . The room smelled like cheap men's cologne. It was worn the furniture was terrible the bed had a worn out bed skirt dirty . Curtains looked like they never got cleaned they too were dirty. The red couch had stains from god knows from soiled & very out dated. I started to itch like bugs were crawling on me. Window was filthy & couldnt be open to let air in.There was only a few cars in the parking. lot. Big hotel but nobody really there.the clerk was nice she showed me 2 rooms. Of course I didnt get a refund. I just wanted out of there.

This property is the most filthy place rooms are extremely dirty I had to be switch 2 times because of the dirty bed sheets and room was unlit to hide the all the nasty stains on the sheets. My other family room they found a used condom under the sheets poor ran place. This place should be shut down.

Clean place close to Morgan's. Breakfast was from 6-9 which is super early and only scrambled eggs and sausage were available as cooked options. Walls were paper thin we could hear every door closing, everyone walking by and even heard bathrooms flushing. At night people were running down the hallways and screaming. Hotel room could use some restoration as walls were chipped, shower curtain stained and blankets stained. I would not stay here again. If you are a light sleeper like I am you will be woken up many times during the night.

Waited over 30 minutes to check in. Only 1 person handling over a dozen customers. Had to ask to change rooms because refrigerator didn’t work and had to wait for room change till the only person on staff could come and “check it first”. AC was not on prior to arrival so room was so hot and smelled bad. Was bit all over my legs from possible bed bugs. Fitness center was dirty and in poor condition. Asked for more towels and was told to bring down the dirty ones first.

No lighting. Walked out to check out and there was vomit RIGHT in front of my door and hallway. With no signs. Receptionist acted as if she didn’t know it was everywhere. I would not come back.

There is a reason this place was cheaper than other places I looked at. It is old and dirty. Been staying for multiple nights, I would’ve checked out after the first night, but I may do for the one night stay.

I would not stay here again! The first thing you notice is the horrible smell penetrated throughout the hotel. Our room smelled like someone had been smoking. The bed sheets had cigarette burns and there were splashed of I don’t know what on the walls. When I checked in, the receptionist was looking at my ID and laughing.

The property seemed clean however when it came to my room. I had many issues my restroom fan didn’t operate toilet seat was loose shower drain plug was not properly placed into shower. Wood floors seemed clean but in fact were filthy. I and my wife noticed after our shower stepping in floor grit and sticky. To find the dirt on our feet. House cleaning car by every day but Sunday per normal. Breakfast was average not much. But it was palatable.

The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was below average. A patron said the eggs were too salty. The sausage looked under cooked. There were a few other options like cereal and yogurt but overall the breakfast was below average. Nice pool. Exercise room was below average.

Son and I on a work trip. Stay in hotels all the time, generally budget brands. Tried to check in 30 min early and was told it would be an extra $10. Asked if I want 1st or 2nd floor. "I really don't care as long as it's clean." Found a dirty washcloth in the bathroom after check in. Sheets on one bed had a stain, but believed at the time they had been laundered. In the morning after a tucked in portion had come untucked overnight, discovered what appears to be feces on bedding. Early morning check out, no manager available, no one I can call. Work trip, so no time to push against obfuscation. Dirty breakfast area, dust, expired food. Lovely view from window while having morning coffee. Run down, cheap renovation. Asked for manager /owner to call me the next day. Get a call two days later. Accuses us of doing it. Says that staff claims we are lying. Offers "10% off," eventually 20%. I want full refund, told that won't happen because we already slept in feces bedding. I explain that in any other circumstance, like let's say you find feces in your food that you already ate part of, you still get all your money back. It's unsanitary and dangerous. I give refunds at my business if mistakes were made, no problem, the customer comes first. DO NOT TRUST THAT THIS PLACE CARES ABOUT YOUR HEALTH, SAFETY, OR YOUR EXPERIENCE. THE MANAGER/OWNER DOESN'T CARE.

This hotel is very clean! The breakfast is basic, but has eggs & sausage plus some cold items. The bed was so hard that we actually went and bought a memory foam mattress topper. I would stay here again, but I will be bringing the mattress topper with. The room had LVP floor which felt clean.
