For the price I could have found a better place.

Doesn't look good. The water used to clean the table in the room was smelling (maybe the cleaning liquid I am not used to). But it was ok for the price of the room. Loved the stay overall. Really grateful for free parking there. [My card shows the room is charged 2 times. The person during check-out told me it will be resolved. I hope it does.]

The room was clean, better than I expected because the outside of building need some serious help. The staff was good. The air conditioning was great. The bathroom was tiny. You can't fart without everyone hearing you. No privacy in that area so restroom gets zero stars.

The stay was okay. There needs to be a shuttle to take you to the Convention Center. Transportation was a challenge each day. The variety of breakfast items were great! The fact that we had to figure out transportation every day. Sometimes I needed to go to the convention Center twice in one day. By the time the Courtesy car dropped others off, most nights we didn't make it back to the hotel until after 1am, and 2 elderly women accompanied me. At times it was Very overwhelming! We had to cut our trip a day early, because my mother had a medical emergency while waiting on transportation to bring us back to the hotel.

I like that it was close to market square which was walking distance. The staff was really nice and the end was really clean. There was one night that this homeless guy, you could tell he was on something and that kind of creeped me out. Me and my granddaughter walked around the inn because we saw some lights on a building that we wanted to go check out. The homeless man saw us and he started following me and my granddaughter. Don't get me wrong I don't have anything against homeless people but when they're on drugs and they're acting weird and they're coming towards me it gives me the creeps. My husband went and got security to kind of follow him. This guy started going upstairs looking in Windows and then going to the pool area and messing around in there moving stuff around just acting really weird. As far as the room the only thing I could see that needs to be repaired is the wall plugs because we were trying to charge our phones and had to unplug the hair dryer just to use that one plug because all the other plugs were messed up phone charger would just fall out of them.

Get what you pay for which is low quality.

Staff very friendly and the rates are very affordable. Room was clean. It is an older hotel socdont expect glamour, but just needs a room for a couple of nights in walking distance to Market Square in San Antonio. Will stay again.

The breakfast is generally good, however, the choices are not many enough. The location is good, exactly opposite side of the Market Square. The room is rather big and there is a big table available. There is NO lanudromat available in the big hotel. That is not good because so many clients need to wash their clothes, I believe.

Hotel room was not in a building. Room was outside making it easier for someone to break in. Outdoor noise could be heard in the room. Room was very old and smelled musty. Bathroom was very small. I could hardly fit in there. Room needed upgrades. TV was very small. There were not enough electrical wall plugs to charge the phones. Breakfast was continental breakfast compared to other La Quinta hotels.

The location was perfect for us. It is right across the street from Mi Tierra Restaurant and Market Square. It seems like an "older" motel but the rooms were clean and comfortable and the staff was great.

There are roaches roaming around. First day I opened the door of refrigerator roach was hanging out there. In the bathroom also I saw two. K

I loved that this place was in the heart of downtown San Antonio. Made it possible to just park my car and walk around. I got in a little late so, I didn't take advantage of much of the amenities, just parking. They had one of the "better" pet policies in town so, I went with them based on that. Though, I did come across some roaches in the room :( You can't win em all.

I love you so much. I’m due back in September of this year. It’s in a perfect place. The rooms are really clean and I think they’ve been updated. I just wouldn’t be able to stay in any other place. It’s reasonable prices. Good parking be going to the market Square. The staff is very friendly.

Nothing The fact that the picture that was portrayed on the website was FAR from accurate. The room stunk like rotting mildew, wasn’t clean and I was misled about getting my 50$ deposit back.

Even though we arrived late they still received us with a friendly smile and were super courteous. We were given extra bags and disposable utensils when we went up to the front desk. The room was clean and cold. Fluffy towels. I was able to park right next to the room. It had a nice nostalgic feel. Gabriel was TIO and the other worker was Cuh. The breakfast was good. Check in and check out was easy. The goodwill is caddy corner. Market square has strong drinks I’m told. The location is great. The highway is right there and if you like to walk and explore it’s easy. The goodwill is caddy corner to the property. We saw a punk show down the street. There’s coffee in the room and in the lobby. I will probably exclusively stay there when I visit San Antonio. I was able to watch music videos from the tv thru you tube. It was vibes.

The minute I walked in I was greeted with a friendly smile. Everyone was extremely friendly and very helpful. Room was clean. AC was set so we couldn’t change it but, it was still comfortable. I will say the water pressure was amazing! The breakfast area wasn’t real big so we just took our food to the room. I will definitely stay again.

I honestly didn't go to the breakfast since it was in front of the hotel and we were way in the back.

The room was very clean, excellent service at the front desk, A/C in perfect condition.

I liked the location; it was close to the Alamo and all the tourist attractions, and the staff was very friendly. The room was a bit damp and the facilities are old.

Evening front staff was confrontational and unsure of company pet fee policy.

Everything very good, my only complaint its that the breakfast suppose to finishes at 10am and by 9:30 am they don't have anything.

Right across from the Market square, close to downtown, and that's about all I can say about it that I liked Old, worn down, room was far from the La Quinta quality I am used. Rooms are definitely outdated and in need of repair. No outlets near bed for charging phones or other items. Parking lot was filthy, trash all over.

Had to call front desk at 1:40 am due to extremely loud music and noise in parking lot. Security was called and it got quiet but I had very little sleep. Hair dryer was broken and the tissue box had only one tissue one left in it. Maintenance did bring a temporary hair dryer and I was given a box of tissues at the front desk. No elevator so bags had to be hauled up an outside staircase, not great for an older person with a bad knee. I’d recommend providing info that there’s no elevator in the hotel description. This is a hotel for young partiers, not older folks.

The hotel is outdated. The baseboard in the restroom had mold and part was ripped. Basically everything is outdated! I am not joking. The breakfast area is very small. They only have 5 small tables with 4 chairs for people to eat breakfast. The space is ridiculous. People had to take the food on to go plates to eat their breakfast in their rooms because there was no room. The breakfast itself was very good.

The room’s carpet was very dirty, the bathroom’s floor was sticky, the bed was not done any of the days we stayed. There was a bad smell in the room and the air conditioner smelled like pee. Several outlets were not working. The card to enter the room deactivated every single day and the day we checked out the lady on the front desk was sleeping in one of the chairs and I had to call her for about five minutes before she woke up. In the room we stayed we could hear every noise coming from the other rooms, such as toilet, water, tv, and even voices. I would not recommend to stay in this hotel. The only good thing about the stay was we got clean towels, shampoo, and soap every single day without asking.

The worst room I’ve ever been. We checked out immediately and got another hotel.

This hotel is really an old school motel. It is very run down and dated. Though I didn't see any bugs, I did a thorough search for them upon arrival. I would not go barefoot in the unit, the carpets actually felt sticky. It was conveniently located to all the central Riverwalk areas and that's why I booked it because it was considerably less $ than closer in.

Location is excellent. Directly across the street from Mi Tierra at El Mercado. This hotel is very run down, and the carpet in our room smelled very musty.

The daily noise was unbelievable!!! Literally, there were SA workers doing street repairs. Seriously??? In addition, I work nights and I had to check in and go immediately to work bc there are no accommodations for night shift people. I stayed 2 nights, but paid for 3. I will not be returning. I am a rewards member & when I mentioned this to the staff at the desk - "deer in the head lights". It is not their fault that they are ill-prepared to answer simple questions. 1 STAR, at best for noise and courtesy of the front desk. 4 stars for the bed. 2 stars for the shower that was loud when turned on and the rusted door to the bathroom. It is not like the room was cheap. I am thoroughly disappointed and I was exhausted each night I worked due to lack of sleep

The paint on the tub enclosure was peeling and was very ugly. There was a swivel Office chair in the room that should’ve been thrown in the trash a very long time ago. The Carpet was probably 40 years old and probably been that long since it was cleaned all in all I would Not stay here again

We were in the lobby at 5:15 the next day where Mikel had breakfast ready knowing that many people staying would be up early to work. She was very kind & is helping us out with a problem we created by leaving a bag in our Lyft car. Liza, took over later and is also helping us figure out how to get our bag to our final destination.

I didn't have breakfast but the coffee was good. The room was very cold but i wasn't able to adjust or turn off the a/c. It got comfortable with covering the vents for a while. I did not notify the front desk. I'm sure they would've been more than accommodating. Ongoing road construction makes getting around in the area difficult.

It was what I expected from a 7.5 rated hotel. Basics is what I expected, and basic is what I got. I'm comfortable with that and the price.

This is a very old motel. The 1st room smelled so strongly of cigarettes, I felt as if I smoked a pack in my room. There was a roach in the microwave. I switched rooms and there were bugs in it too. Property is older, very serviceable, friendly front desk. A bit down at the heels and plain but very clean, comfortable beds, great AC, ample linens. Toilet is the 2 type flush system- common in Europe & Canada- first one I’ve encountered in the US. Perfect hotel for my 2 nite stay as I wasn’t in need of fancy amenities.

EXCELLENT location for walking around downtown..Directly across from Marketplace so there was lots of shopping and food and culture ..Room is outdated not enough places to plug and charge your devices definitely need a power strip .Few of the lamps didn’t work ..AC was great though ..breakfast was cereal , muffins , bagels,boiled eggs, ,yougurt,sausage & 3 waffle makers area is small so go early otherwise it ist comfortable to sit and eat .we actually only ended up eating breakfast 1 of the 3 days ..If i stay again in the downtown area I would stay again especially for the price !!

People were talking in the hallway and they said that they can talk as long as they were there. They were making noise since past 12 o’clock at night and security came by and complained to me saying that they had every right to be in the hallway to talk and drink as much as they wanted to as long as they didn’t harass me well they were harassing me because the lady came and she was very aggressive towards me one of the customers there and I told her just please go through your room and talking alone because I have to go to sleep because I have to take a next flight at 5:30 in the morning and they didn’t seem to care and security was just like nonchalant about it and we accept these things for festivals. We accept the bad behavior that’s what he said.

I had stayed at this location before, in June 2025. The building is not the newest, but it has all the conveniences: free parking plus a min fridge and microwave. The only problem I had was with the AC system. The main system faced a bed, but the control was on the wall. I normally am a light sleeper....which means that it has to be absolutely quiet for me to sleep decently. When I turn off the AC, I expect it to be off. Although the control read OFF, it would turn back on. I was unable to sleep well bc of this ac. While others can sleep thru the humming of an ac unit, I'm not that person. As much as I like this La Quinta, I will look elsewhere to get a decent night's sleep.

Very nice staff, older facility that could use a new coat of paint. Mexican restaurant across the street is good and not too expensive. Riverwalk is about a 10 minute walk down the street. Didn’t feel unsafe, parking is free for one vehicle and they really enforce it. Dog friendly and decent breakfast. Less expensive than other motels in the area.

Free parking and the walking is very reasonable. In mid August, it's very hot, so prepare with water and cooling towel, hat.

We had a huge room. Very nice and clean. Curtains did not cover windows well enough to keep room dark at night though. We could not get the air conditioner to go below 76. Breakfast food options were not the greatest. Only had boiled eggs as an option, sausage but no bacon or biscuits. My husband did like the waffle station though. I'm not a waffle eater.

The overall stay is nice ... but we didn't expect this to be a motel instead of hotel. The price is relatively high if this is a motel

The room was so bad, we walked away without staying there or obtaining a refund. Stay away until it's totally remodeled!

When my family and I come to San Antonio this is always our 1st choice the people that work here are very nice and always answer all my concerns to the best of their knowledge.

Top floor king room was spacious, mostly clean, quiet and everything, but 2 lamps, worked. Employees were helpful and friendly. Loved the parking and location to downtown. Breakfast was also good with several hot and cold options. Overall price is too high, but would return and do recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised with our stay. The outside is a bit dated, but the room is up to date and was very clean. The pool was amazing!

property was in need of a spruce up. Outside stairs to second level were roped off as unsafe. Property needed a paint job. bathtub needed to be repaired. overall property was not what i expected. staff at the desk were less than personable. cleaning staff was very nice and helpful. just not what i expected from Wyndham.

However, the hotel overall could really use some updates. The rooms and common areas feel a bit outdated and could be refreshed for a more comfortable stay. Also, the breakfast was underwhelming — very limited options and not as fresh or organized as expected. It’s an okay stay if you’re prioritizing location, but with a few improvements, this place could be much better.

Overall we had a really good stay. We were really annoyed with the key cards to the rooms because every time we seem to leave the room we'd have to get them reactivated. Otherwise it was wonderful. Breakfast was great!

The rooms were ok, the outside of the property needs some attending to, although I do realize the area it is in goes through relentless partying year round, weekend and weekend out. It is an excellent location if you want visit the market square, especially during "fiesta" each April. A short 0.5 mile is manageable to downtown San Antonio, to visit the historic Alamo and Riverwalk.

The staff members were great. The hotel needs a cleanup and renovations.

Hotel was in an excellent spot for our visit. Although the building looks like it could use an upgrade in it’s appearance, the accommodations were good.

When first getting there it looked pretty decent but when we walked into the room the room smelled like mold and you could see mold on the bathroom floor the wallpaper is peeling and bathroom smell bad also carpet felt bad when I walked on it barefooted the pool look better kept then the actual room itself beds are comfy convenient to the Alamo and Riverwalk great property just need to get rid of the mold and clean a little better if I have to rate it I'm giving it a six

A tow truck took my vehicle, It was all a misunderstanding, for I had already rented my room in the hotel but it was still not showing in the system that I was already there and the nice gentleman upfront called and informed his manager so she made sure I wouldn’t get a Fine and I was able to get my car back and problem solved. I wish I could’ve been able to say thank you in person when all this happened. (05/24/25) 4pm

There was alot of construction literally around the hotel.

The Inn has free parking, which in the downtown area is great bonus. The rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff was excellent. It was very noisy the first night of our stay, which coincided with the last day of Fiesta Week. After that, there wasn’t a problem. In spite of massive construction throughout San Antonio, it was easy to get around and the hotel was a great base location.

I booked a handicap room and was given a regular room so I. And out of tub was difficult. Restroom floor was not sanitized/cleaned on our third day. Towels looked new! Despite construction location was quiet. Despite construction detours it was convenient to holy observances at the cathedral.

Having parking at the hotel is extremely important considering the current road construction around the River Walk. The hotel is only 2 blocks away from the River Walk. There is also a excellent Mexican restaurant and bakery directly across the street from the hotel.

The convenience alone was worth the stay. We had a family gathering right across the street at Mi Tierra and it was so nice to be able to just walk over there. It was super close to The Riverwalk/downtown and that made it great. The hotel staff when we checked in on Friday was super friendly, but professional, and very informative and knowledged of the area and letting us know about what was going on around town. The only minor minor issue, bathtub needs recoating/replaced and the water pressure was super low, otherwise, we really liked the room and area and would definitely book a stay here again.

This place was rated as good 7.9 on Expedia, but it was not a hotel, but a motel that was very run down. It did not look safe, so we canceled our reservation. The brief encounter we had with the staff, they were very friendly. We felt this property was misrepresented on Expedia.

The first room we were put in had a big red stain in the carpet, a messed up tub, and a terrible smell. We were switched to another room and we all woke up sick. It looked like mold on the chair and in the closet. The staff was nice but if you have any allergies I 100% don't recommend

The staff here was very nice - excellent. But when we checked in and put our suitcases in our room, within 5 minutes, a tow truck had booted our car. We had just arrived and hadn't yet put our parking tag on our car. It seemed VERY aggressive. We stopped him in time, but if we hadn't, this wouldv'e been horrible. The property is near the Market Square and that's adorable - great food and shops - a must see. We walked to the. River Walk - about 15 minutes - an easy walk. All around good. The property is older and nothing fancy but it did the trick!

The room they gave me had a bad smell. The bathrooms were very ugly. Inside, the smell was truly terrible.

Shower plumbing not draining at all. Water will not go down the pipes. Maintenance guy came in and was not able to fix problem.

The property was in a good location and great parking access. Easy on and off the highway. The breakfast was really good and fresh. You can definitely tell it's an older motel that could use some updates.

Free parking!!! When most hotels in the downtown area charge $50-$60 a day to park, this hotel offers free parking right across the street from the Market Square. Rooms are clean bed is comfortable and the air conditioner works great! The rooms need upgrades but the pros outdo the cons. Have stayed here before and will stay here again.

Need a rooms / beds renewal

Room was large and everything worked (microwave/fridge/TV). Bed was comfortable but the pillows were flimsy and small. Pool noise went on til 10 pm. Bathtub was unusable with paint peeling and flaking off into the tub. AC was loud and constantly shut off and on no matter what setting it was on which kept us from sleeping. Bathroom floor was dirty. Location was great and staff were friendly. We appreciated the refund after staying just 1 of 2 nights. Also received our deposit back. Didn't try breakfast. Employees were friendly and helpful. Guests were quiet inside their rooms. We asked for top floor room and received it, although we regret that it was by the pool. Free parking is a plus. With better air conditioners and a useable tub, we would return.

Perfect stay for large family. Pool was good as well as breakfast provided. Walking distance to River walk was tremendous hell. I didn’t have to worry about parking the whole week. The only time I moved car was to go to sea world , 18 mins away.
